We were in Rome for the forth time and Fleur de Lis was our best accomodation (and we had already stayed in 4* hotels). the price is absolutely o.k., also the breakfast is better than already experienced.

We were more than pleased with the B&B and the facilities: spacious room, large and well-featured bathroom, and a great host in Nadia. She filled us in with her recommendations on places to see and dine, etc. Breakfast was made to order and at the times requested. Lots of choices. The location was very close to Vatican City, many shops and restaurants, and to a metro stop. We will certainly plan to stay here again in the future.

Our 4 night stay was wonderful. Nadia was very helpful, very courteous and gracious. The location is perfect for seeing the sights of Rome; you can either walk or use the Metro. We would definitely stay here again if coming to Rome.

Due to the central location the tram is nearby so it is not very quiet at night, but o.k. No breakfast before 8.30 Everything else is perfect! 99% recommendation!

Nadia is a charming person who always has a good excuse for not being able to be there, or offer you what is available. Our arrival was before a large brown door with no indication that this was a B&B. If we didn't have other experiences we would have left because of the surprising state of the surroundings. Beware, what awaits is much, much better. The roome is large, clean. If you ask for an inroom bathroom be advised that you have your own bathroom across from your room. For us this was no problem. The bathroom was big, clean and had a shower with multijets to massage - that we did not use. Nadia is kind and willing to provide whatever is asked for at breakfast. The noise level is ok if you have earplugs or think of asking for the air conditioning before you close the windows and open your door on the corridor to profit from the A/C which is in the corridor. We are not a difficult couple. We accomodated ourselves with the situation. The place is super. Nadia would need to be more foregoing to palliate certain downfalls.

This may be Rome's most perfect bed and breakfast because of owner Nadia. "Helpful" and "cheery" and "kind" do not do justice to her. We had the "newlywed suite" with its own bathroom with a two-person jaccuzi, a lovely dining area, a wonderful firm queen-size platform bed, and the only B&B with both BBC and CNN (and - ugh! - Fox) on satellite. Air conditioning was perfect. Wireless internet (free) was excellent in the lounge, but weak in the room, due to the very thick old masonry walls. Breakfast was very good, with hard-boiled eggs done perfectly. Lots of good restaurants nearby. The Metro from Termini to Ottaviano station stops just 100 meters from the B&B's door. The Vatican is just 5 minute walk away. The Colloseum, Spanish steps (missable) and the Trevi fountain are all easy Metro stops away. Those new to Italian B&Bs should know that many (most?) are simply condominiums of several rooms on a floor of an apartment building. The proprieter may or may not be on premises. You will get keys to the street door, the elevator door, the condo door and your room door. Air conditioning is more important than you may realize because B&B rooms nowhere we stayed in Rome, Sienna, Firenze or Bologna have screens, and the mosquitoes can be fierce at night.

Se trata de un hotel pequeño; muy bien ubicado (a unos 5 minutos a pie de los Museos Vaticanos y uno del Metro Ottaviano); Muy buenas y pulcras instalaciones y una atención amena y siempre dispuesta a ayudar.

Nadia was by far one of the best hosts we have ever encountered. The room was extremely cozy, we stayed in the suite and it exceeded our expectations. Strongly recommended for honeymooners or couples who want to see the Vatican. It's a little far from city center but we found it pretty easy to walk there. If you hate walking the metro is right there.

It was a very unpleasant surprise when we came and found out that we had to share a bathroom -- the website mentioned nothing about that, and we thought this was cheating. A private bathroom was our main criterion, and we would never have picked this hotel have we known it would have to be shared. We had to wait for an hour every morning waiting for our neigbours to take showers and apply make-up. Please note if you choose to stay here (though we do not recommend) that you will have to share a bathroom unless you go for a suite.

Fleur de Lis is a small, but very nice place. There are only three rooms, of which only one has its own bathroom. The other two rooms share one (very nice and big)bathroom, which we didn't know before. So it was a bit crowded in the morning (5 persons sharing one bathroom). Apart from that the place is very clean, newly refurbished and Nadia, the owner, was really very nice and helpfull.

We stayed 3 nights at Fleur de Lis in Rome, which is walking distance to the Vatican. The owner spoke English and greeted us with information on all the things to see in Rome and places to eat. We thought that we were getting a room with a bathroom, however we had to share the bath with another couple. The bathroom was very clean, with a steam shower and balcony. Our room was also very clean. The breakfast was good and was served by the owner's mother each morning. We only meet the owner once at check in,the rest of the time the owners mother took care of us each morning. Other wise we were on our own in the 3 room bed & breakfast. Overall it was a nice place to stay and we would go back again.

Nadia, the owner is a nice persone, maybe she needs more experience to preview some problems. We was tapink at the door the last nicht around 30 minut because other turist locked the door and by mistake because they didnt know the rules to close the door. It is there a lock only inside, that without outside key. That was after our last nicht eating a wonderfull food in Rome, very sat. But it was a Murphy Low :-)
