Beautiful place to stay. Andrea is a lovely guy who is really easy to get along with and is a great host. The location is nice and quite, away from the busy touristy areas, closer to real rome, but also very easy to get to all the attraction by foot or metro from Le Panto station. Highly recommend this place to stay.

I stayed well at B&B Fiocca. It is extremely quiet and Maurizio makes you breakfast in the morning :) My room was ok, certainly not ample but big enough. There's an armchair, a table and a little tv. One thing I wasn't too happy about, the rooms were not heated, probably because it wasn't allowed in Rome yet (I guess they start in november), but in my opinion it was needed. That's the problem with central heating... Also, there's no sign at the building exterior, so check very carefully where it is beforehand. Aside from these two minor things I cannot but recommend this place to anyone seeking a cheap accomodation in north Rome (it's not far from the metro anyway) which is surely much less crowded than the centre and south. The owner is very kind and gives you every information you might need.

This was my first time at Fiocca. Great, cozy, quiet, clean place, perfect for a quiet and resting sleep. The bathroom is very clean and nice smelling. This place is very much as if a Roman who was an apartment rents you a room for a couple of days. Nice, clean, cozy. Fiocca has an excellent Trattoria (Ulysse) on half a block away with excellent food and good prices. You can get to Piazza del Popolo, Vatican City and other landmarks taking 1 bus a block away. Besides you a metro 2 blocks away. Great! Bathroom was shared with other 3 rooms, but almost always found it availiable.

I wanted a place that was near to the centre of Rome without being in the main thrust of the city; I got that and more. The room was clean and comfortable, and I greatly appreciated the quietness provided by the positioning of the room over the central garden. The welcome and service provided by Andrea was exceptional; he is a very helpful person. The area the B&B is situated is very nice, and is ideally situated for any itinerary you may have. I enjoy walking everywhere I need to go, but there were also numerous travel opportunities available locally, including the metro, trams and buses.

Everything was perfect. Andrea, the owner, was very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was much better than expected. Only minor issue: The only toilet is in the bathroom. So if someone is taking a shower, you have to wait a while.

I found the B&B Fiocca to be an excellent choice! The host was fantastic; personable, caring, knowledgeable, and helpful. The location was perfect. The site was charming and secure. I was pleased with the room cost. For first time users of the subway written directions, as well as the map, would be helpful. My overall stay was super. I'd stay there again, and I've already recommended B&B Fiocca to friends!

This is a modestly priced B&B with very good location (within walking distance of the Vatican museums) in a quiet, pleasant residential area. For a budget stay, the Focca represents excellent value and I would have no hesitation in recommending it. Andrea, the manager, is welcoming and efficient.

I stayed at Fiocca a week in early March. It was pleasant base to my exploring of Rome. When I arrived owner, Andrea, was already waiting for me. Fiocca is basically a flat in a residential block and it is perhpas a bit confusing to find that house for first time. But all in all it is nice place, well situated in quiet area close tu buses and metro - to Vatican or Piazza del Popolo it is just one metro station or bit of walk away.

The B&B is located in a multi-tenant apartment type bldg and it was a little hard to find as there is no signage on the outside other than a panel of doorbells with a label. It resides on the second floor at the back of the property and there are two locked gates to go through. Shared bath was clean. Left to early to see what the brkfst was like. Manager/Owner was very cordial and helpful.

I was a single traveller visiting Rome for the first time. The B&B was very close to a lot of sites & I generally walked everywhere, including the sites further away. It is also very close to the Metro station for anyone preferring not to walk. Breakfast was simple but that was fine for me. Andrea the host was very friendly, welcoming & spoke good English. I plan to return to Rome soon & will hope to use B&B Fiocca again.

Relatively cheap accom for Rome. Within easy walking distance of all main attractions and in very quiet but safe part of Rome. Felt very safe walking streets at that time of night. No Noise at night so get an excellent night sleep. Fantastic value for budget travellers. Map on Internet site could probably be a bit more detailed to make place easier to find. But host came an escorted us back to B&B. Very nice guy.

I had one night on my own in Rome before meeting up with friends. This was the perfect place to stay - very reasonably priced, in a lovely neighborhood, a gracious host. As other reviewers said, you have to know what you're getting into - a small single room with a shared bath in the hall - but for me it was perfect. Thanks!

This is a great B&B. Within minutes of the metro (Lepanto), you can get to anywhere around Rome very quickly. Theres also a post office nearby to send back those postcards and also some nice eateries. I didn’t get the impression there were lots of tourists staying in this area which counts as a definite bonus. It was a real community place with a market just around the corner everyday. It was lovely to walk around at night (ice cream bars to collapse into after a hard days touristing ) and a supermarket handily placed about 5 minutes away for those daily essentials. To say more about the B&B itself, we had full use of two bedrooms and the bathroom, all immaculately decorated and kept. Great coffee served every morning to kick off the day along with other assorted goodies. It was very quiet and comfortable. There’s also beautiful private courtyard as part of the apartment complex. The host (Andrea) was very warm and helpful giving us tips on the best places to eat and the best times and days to see things in order to avoid the queues. Would definitely use this B&B again.

Although we were treated very well and given assistance by the host Andrea when our bags were lost at the airport, I don't think we would stay here again. The location was very difficult to find given the information we recieved from the B&B and while the rooms were clean, they were a bit spartan (especially the twin room) and the breakfast was quite poor. Also other B&Bs' we stayed in while in Italy gave far better services (breakfast/ common areas) for the same price.

Andrea met me outside for my arrival which wasnt planned. Very nice beginning to a great stay. The B&B was quite small but very clean. When I needed help or had questions Andrea was close by to help out. There was no curfew which was nice you could come and go when you wanted. It was close to transit or just walk to your sites. Always had some hot coffee for me in the morning and asked about my day very nice person. This was a great place to stay and look forward to going back. Andrea save me a room. This was my first time in Rome, single traveller with only one vacation week before two weeks of work in Europe. I was flying during 14 hours and my first impression was a friendly welcome from Andrea. The place is quiet at nights, however there are some places (bars and restaurants) open till midnight in summer, that help single travellers. Andrea was very helpfull for giving tourist directions.

Bon voyage !

Host Andrea was nice and helpful, and the room was clean. The neighborhood was residential and quiet. The breakfast was poor, no protein and no fresh bread (worst of our two-week stay in Italy). Sharing bathroom with 2 additional guests (2 single rooms and one double room in the bed and breakfast) wasn't the most convenient.

Dear Traveller, this B&B is part of the appartment of the owners, but that doesn't matter at all. In the contrary, the host Andrea is very charmful and helps with everything you need. Also, he's got a few inetresting tales to tell, not to mention advice for foreign travellers. The house is situated in a very quiet area of Rome - there aren't many - with a beautiful garden. Public transport is not 5 min walk away, or you can even use your feet to come to a number of places. Considering price vs. quality this is hard to beat!! Next time I'll be in Rome this is my place to go.

Andrea very helpful however the only problem was the sharing of the bathroom, The map is\ not very helpful as it is in accurate and unfortunately rome maps differ with street information. We had to ask passers by where it was. B & B is in a quiet neighborhood, walking distance from St. Peters Square and the Rome Met.Ro as well as many bus lines. Shopping is close by and the neighborhood seems to be filled more with locals than tourists. Andrea is a most gracious host and will warmly welcome you into the apartment complex. You will need to phone him when you are close or ring the bell marked "Fiocca" to gain access. The gate to the complex is located just before an outdoor cafe near the corner. Excellent B&B, very friendly host. +The surrounding is also very good, the rooms look at an inner place with a garden and fountain where you hear almost nothing of the street noise ; at night you hear nothing of the street since they close the entry from the street to the inside. The restaurant at the furthest opposite corner is a good tip, much visited by young Romans (the price, the food a nd the quantity is really good). I almost forgot: the rooms do not have airco, but they get very little direct sunlight and they keep a nice moderate temperature. In Rome, that's important, since it got up to 38 °C when i was there!

This bed & breakfast is clean and homey, not fancy, but very comfortably furnished, in a quiet residential area but only a few blocks from mass transit, near a nice shopping area (Via Cola di Rienzo), walking distance to some major attractions, and reasonably priced. Breakfast is average for Rome. What makes this place stand out is the host, who is warmly welcoming, helpful, informative, and generally terrific. We had a long day traveling from central USA. Andrea (our hero) was outside to greet us after dark, around 8:30 PM, when we were exhausted and wondering if lost. Excellent, inexpensive restaurant just across the street. Photos may not reflect very nice, gated court yard. Felt very secure. Good location & access outside of the congestion of central city. Good variety for continental breakfast. One adjacent street (not visible from room) had some litter and evidence of pets.

At this B&B you are living together in a spacious old appartment with other guests and the owner, so you are sharing the facilities! If this doesn't bother you, this location can be recommended for a short (3-4 days) trip to Rome. Andrea, the owner, is very nice and helpful. The location is fine, we walked everywhere, but about 5 minutes walk away there is a metro station (Lepanto). The Vatican is about 15 min walk away. The area is very safe and quiet, just around a corner is a nice street market every day except Sunday.

This didn't bother us, as your out exploring Rome all the time anyway. Andrea, the owner, is very nice and helpful. The location of the hostal is very fine for expolring Rome. The surrounding arrea with some nice cafees and bars is not that much touristic but the inner city is only a 10 minutes walk away! The style of the hostal is almost that of a shared flat. We liked it and it was funny to meet the others in the kitchen, especcially 'caus they were true italians. Only the glass in the room doors should be covered with some sort of curtain.

I had a very good experience at Fiocca. Andrea, the owner, was very friendly. He was waiting for me when I got there. He even prepared breakfast for me in the morning! The rooms are facing the inside gardens of this beautiful building. I have only one suggestion for this place. Perhaps the owner should cover the doors with some courtains, since right now they only have frosted glass, and it is not very private, especially in the bathroom. My other suggestion is for whomever decides to take the metro. Get of at Lepanto, climb up the stairs to the Lepanto avenue, and then turn right a couple of blocks, and then right again. I did the opposite and got very lost. Good luck, and make sure you stay more than just one night. There are way too many things too see in Rome!

My partner and I were very impressed by the welcoming of the staff. They were very friendly and gave us lots of useful information about the surroundings. If we go back to Rome,we're probably going to stay there again.
