This place is perfect if your traveling on a budget. Location couldn't be better. Literally 2 minutes from Termini station. Very friendly and helpful. Our room didn't have A/C so was quite hot in August, and was on the street side so got woken up once in 3 nights by an Ambulance as the windows were open. Had a fan though and was comfortable with that running and window open. When next in rome will stay again for sure. Fantatsic for the money.

This was our first time in Rome and we had an excellent time. Dreaming Roma is a very small B&B, only three rooms I think but our room was extremely spacious with a large ensuite bathroom. It is not technically a B&B as no breakfast is provided. There is no communal area other than the entrance hall which has a couple of seats in it. We had a friendly welcome from the owner(?) who dealt with everything efficiently and spoke good English, other than that we did not interact with the staff as we left each day early in morning and did not return until late in evening. It is situated in a very busy and noisy area but the windows had amazing sound proofing and complete blackout so we had a good night's sleep albeit a little hot as we couldn't have window open. They did seem to have air-con but it wasn't on (we were there in March, perhaps only on in summer). Safes in room meant things could be kept securely. Extra pillows in cupboard. Spacious wardrobe and tv, neither of which we used. Easy to find from Termini station and only a 3-5min walk.

Our stay in Dreaming Roma was wonderful. It´s a really nice place, nice room, very clean, with free WIFI, they clean the room every day. The location is fantastic, because is near the Termini bus station, near the centre and many other atractions are in a walkable distance. The staff are very friendly and helpfull. The tips they give us about the city were perfect. In my next time in Roma, i will definetly stay in Dreaming Roma. Alejandra -Montevideo; URUGUAY-

This is an excellent stay for the price that is offered. The location is very close to the Termini station, although probably not as nice as some of the other locations. If I went to Rome again, I would probably stay near the Trevi Fountain. But again, the location is great as it is very close to the termini station which is always a couple of stops from the main must-see spots such as Colosseum and Trevi Fountain. The room we stayed in was very clean and there was a double bed plus a small bed even though we are a couple. The neighborhood is a little run down though (the construction down the street has something to do with it but maybe when it is done, it won't be so bad.)The staff was really helpful and nice. Gave us excellent itineraries for the short time we had in rome. This is definitely not a place for those who enjoy luxury. It is simple.

This home is not sweet at all. We had to move around two blocks away to another building after we checked in, in a heavy rain. The staff couldn't speak English and gave us no help when we got problem in the room. Better not to stay here.

We stayed at Rome for one week and we spent 3 days in that hotel. After not having enough room in the main facilities we were moved to other building in the nearbies. The room was in a flat with no room service or staff. The room was quite big and the double bed was also big. Rooms are quite clean and quiet. There is flat TV in the room, but only with local channels. The location of the hotel is perfect to visit Rome, because all public transport services goes to Termini station. No breakfast included in price. Good location for a young couple visiting Rome as a leisure travel,

We ordered for 4 days. We had another adress (because Bed & Breakfast and not hotel). It was clean, but the main surprise was about the lights and the electricity : we had only one light! There is some noise, because there is not A/C : so we need to open the window. It was a good journey, however!

The staff was very nice and polite; some did not speak very good English, however. But so what? The room was nice and clean, the breakfast better than expected under the circumstances. The price for the breakfast was not included in the hotel fee. A rather nice trattoria was quite outside the hotel, very convenient when you wanted to eat in the evening.

Small but clean rooms, relatively quiet (for Rome, that is). Tiny clean modern bathroom. The location is next to Termini on the nicer side of it (there are worse streets on the other side of Termini). Convenient to buses. A good place to spend a night or two if you get a bargain on price.

We stayed 4 nights, and the first night we arrived at 11 pm. When we finally found the office and walked to the Bed and Breakfast, the building doesn't look suitable to stay in. But once we got up to the room we were pleasantly surprised. The bathrooms are not as spacious as they appear in the pictures, but get the job done just fine. We couldn't get any wireless signal at the B&B which was disappointing. The windows were AMAZING and blocked out 99% of street noise. Very close to Termini and little restaurants. Easy to get a true Italy experience. Would recommend to friends if wanting good quality at an affordable price.

It was a nice little hotel in a convenient area run by friendly and helpful people and I'd stay there again. The reason I gave poor marks for "Correspondence between web pages and actual property" is because instead of a B&B as we expected, it turned out to be a hotel. I didn't mind this at all.

We had actually booked to stay in the B&B but when we arrived the owner offered us a room in the hotel of the same name (just up the road, where you check in). The whole stay was lovely, the rooms clean, the owners extremely friendly. We couldn't be more satisfied and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the centre of Rome.

The B&B is located about 2 blocks away from the main hotel. You have to check in at the hotel and then bring your bags to the B&B. It's on the 5th floor but you get an elevator. Luckily it is not that far. If you are taking the breakfast, you would have to go back to the hotel to have it (a little inconvenient) Surrounding is good with many restaurants and internet cafes. Also very close to the train station/subways. If you are staying at the B&B, there is no 'general area'. Would give it a 10 if it had Air Conditioner. It's just a little hot in the summer (July).

I was travelling with my husband. The check-in is a street further away from the actual property. Our building from outside was depressing, as was the medieval elevator. The entrance and hallways were dark and dingy. But thankfully, once the apartment door opened, it was a different story. Clean, modern, well-scented and spacious. Very close to the Termini station, and the central bus station.

We stayed in this hotel with our 2 year old. The rooms were full when we arrived and the owner led to an apartment house ( I guess leased by the Hotel) where we were given a decent sized double bed with a shared bath. We didn't have any real issues with the apartment except that we had to carry all our bags (after having paid good money to a taxi to get to the original Hotel location in the first place). Also the rooms were VERY noisy -facing on to the main street and the only option was to keep all the windows closed (difficult in August when its so hot and the Hotel/Apt has no Air conditioning). But the apartment (and the actual Hotel) was very conveniently situated close to the Termini and there was a decent choice of budget restaurants near-by. The area was safe as well, we used to walk back to the apt late at night (past 11PM). The owner was very nice and polite and helpful with directions.

One thing I would to share with reader was that although I prepare cash to pay prior to live, B&B 's staff insist on using my visa card information that I provided to venere.com to pay the fee. In a very good location for access to buses and trains and walking to the forum etc. It is noisy but then in Rome I was not suprised. The room was very simple and served our purpose very well though there is no breakfast included but to be honest i never eat it anyway! My only thought which should have been written on the website was that they took the first nights payment on the card you put in when venere said that this was only incase you did not turn up. Had i known that I would have used a different card. But all in all yet another fab stay in Rome.

It is a simple facility, but we payed only 55 EUR/room for a night, that gave a very good value/money ratio. The actual room was not in the Sweet Home, but in another appartment, only one corner from the Sweet Home and also only one from Termini. Breakfast was not included, and the breakfast room was in the main address, but there are a lot of restaurants and bars around, actually you get much bigger choice, and half price there (and you get half an hour more "Roman life" per day). The room was the smallest of the 4 in this separate appartment, but it was OK with a 4 month old child, given that we get only to sleep there. There are two bathrooms for 4 rooms, no traffic jams experienced. Actually, I haven't met anybody in the appartment in 5 days, except that I heard that all rooms are used. If you are on short budget, perfect choice.

Good facility in the city. Very convenient for travelling around Rome or even Italy since it is very close to Termini. Only thing is we four people in two room had to share our toilet/bathroom.

Technically it is correct to say there is a TV, but it was very small, had a lousy reception and all channals was in Italian, not much use. The guy at the reception was OK, although it would have helped if he spoke better English, but it's not a big problem. We were somewhat surprised we had to walk two streets to a total other building, to get to our room, but it was OK. I think it would be more precise to use "Hostel" instead of "Hotel" though. There was a lot of noice from the street and even more noice from the other guests, especially from the bathroom, of which one of the two had an odd smell about it. Type of room? Well, the room was OK as such, but we were never offered a choice. Compared to the price, it was OK. Would we stay there again? If to save money on accomadation, then yes. If we want more than just a room to sleep in, then no.

The place is nicely located, just 2 minute walk to the metro and train station. The area is fairly quiet. Just don't expect what you get in america for the money you are paying. The bed is not confortable at all, but cinsidering the other options in the are and the hing cost for lodging in europe, I think the price is fair. The bathroom is in good condition and the personnel attending is very helpfull and kind. I will deffinetly go back to the place.

Helpful staff, quite clean. Ok for a couple of days in rome and not expensive. Besides it's near Termini station and you can reach tourist places rather fast. The sole negative thing is the noise coming from the street.

In total this was quite a noce play to stay. We came to the hotel for the check-in, but the landlady showed us to our "apartment" situated to streets away. Not a problem. We had to pay uopon arrival and not when leaving, as the venere-page had said. It was no problem though, to wait until the next day, when we have had a chance to go to the 'bancomat'. The Room was nice and clean, but the showers were not working 100%. Even though we lived on the 5th floor it was very noisy. Because of the heat, we needed to have the windows open in the night, and there was a lot of noise from the street. But on the other hand, you can't have both a really nice location in the citycentre and total quietness. On last thing, why do they call it a bed and breakfast, if breakfast is not included?

Location is perfect in a point of view of arriving and departure. The really alive center of the city is at 30 minutes walking. The owner was very kind and helpful. However, several small devices like some lamps, plugs and tips didn't work o were hardly to work. Anyway, we were there only to sleep. If you are the full day outside this is the perfect place to rest.

Near the Termini station. Our room was not at the same place than the hotel : say 300 m. Boring because you must walk a bit but useful because you are on your own. The room was small but effective and clean. There were 2 common bathrooms so no problem to have showers at anytime. The keeper is a typical italien "mama" : really nice and helpful and concern. Too bad she does not speak a word of English !(nor French). By the way, this seems to be a constant in Italy.

Gernerally we have very positive feelings about this place. Room and shared bathroom were cleaned every day. It is just 10 min walking from the Colloseum and Roman City and 3 minutes from the Tremini station, so essentially you don't waste your time on travelling back and forth. Also owners appeared to be a very nice people. We can highly recommend this place to everyone.

I stayed in the Bed and Breakfast which is actually a block over from the hotel and five or six stories up a tiny elevator. The rooms were very large and clean and the shared bathrooms were convenient. Noise was not a problem either. Be warned that staff expects payment upon arrival and provides no safe way to store baggage after checkout - in this case you can store your things at the train station only two blocks over. It costs money but is better than hauling around bags all day. Overally this B&B was a great deal for the price - only 49 Euros - and is two blocks from the metro and within walking distance of most of the major attractions.

The hotel has a good location, close to the Termini station, and within walking distance of pretty much everything (except maybe Vatican). The people at reception were extremely friendly, we basically didn't have to find a tourist office after talking to them. They made great recommendations on restaurants and sights to see. Rooms were okay, the shared bathrooms probably could have been cleaned a little more often, but otherwise it was a great hotel for what you pay.

Sweet home is the perfect hotel for low bugdet turists. We are a young couple so we wanted something cheap but central. The hotel was ubicated near the central station, we could walk to all the known places in Rome! The surroundings were quite interesting. A known church nearby, old and historical buildings and many cheap restaurants and pubs! We shared bathroom and it was ok, 'til some other tourists came and the place became a little crowded. The bedclothes were clean but the floor was dirty (It didn't matter, we weren't sleeping on the floor :) ) Esquilino is a noisy sector so we had to sleep with closed windows but we had a fan so things went perfect. Sweet home is absolutely a place we recommend!

First off, a caveat. I had some trouble booking this hotel. Even after my reservation was confirmed on Venere, I repeatedly got notifications that my reservations were cancelled due to incorrect card data (definitely not true). I can only assume that this was due to overbooking or a preference to accept phone bookings over those from a site that takes a commission. I made sure to phone from the airport to check that our room was still held for us. Other than that, Sweet Home was a good, cheap place to stay. Interestingly, though we booked a twin room online with shared bath, it seemed we were unable to get one when we arrived - and were charged extra for a room with ensuite. We didn't have a problem with this - but be aware that booking online for this hotel might not be the best thing to do for people with a nervous disposition. Other than that, everything worked out fine. We arrived on May 31, and it was rather warm, but we had a ceiling fan that was really effective. There was an all-night trattoria with a terrace right beneath our window, so it was a bit noisy without earplugs - but convenient when we got hungry. For the extremely reasonable price we paid, I was pleased with what we got. It was clean, and quite comfortable. Above all, it was convenient. We arrived at Termini at 11:30 pm, so the two block walk it took for us to get to the hotel was deeply appreciated. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice, and I thought the 24 hour reception was really helpful for us, since we arrived so late and then had to find a place to eat later. Highly recommended for people on a budget who aren't of a nervous disposition. If you're willing to stay in Termini (not the best area - walking at night could be nerve wracking for two girls) and deal with a small amount of risk that your booking might disappear suddenly, definitely go with Sweet Home. (It would be a big plus if you spoke a decent amount of Italian and could confirm your booking later on the ph

This is a fantastic hotel for the price. we arrived at 11.30 pm and were shown our room (in a different hotel to the one we booked into) was like a shared apartment - 5 rooms with 2 bathrooms. almost next door to Termini which was very handy for travelling on to Florence. Definately recommended - stayed in a more expensive hotel later in the holiday which was no better but nearly double the price!
