Bed and Breakfast Domus Romana - Rome
Via Amedeo VIII 7 - Rome
877-662-6988The B&B is inside a wonderful building whose Liberty architectonic characteristics have been recently restored. It has a very important strategic position to visit what can be defined “the cradle of the Italian civilization”. From here, it is possible to get to every most important historical and artistic place in town and its most known shopping areas as well.
When you stay in our B&B you really live in the heart of Rome, within walking distance from its wonderful monuments, museums and its most known restaurants, “trattorie” and pubs. The first underground station is "Manzoni" “A” line), 50 metres from the B&B. Bus stops are some 100 metres away and they get you to any part of the city.
Good price-quality relation; good location! hardly any public area in B&B (standing breakfast)

Owner was extremely helpful and nice at our check-in. He was very helpful in explaining how to get to the nearest bus and metro lines(metro MANZONI is very near 1oomt.) and he also gave us recommendations for sights to see and restaurants nearby. The room was great and really clean and bathrooms were very large and clean . The breakfast is self service :there is all in the room and you can use the kitchen for coffè or the...good italian breakfast (croissant,NUTELLA,marmellate, rusks, chocolate tarts and dumplings) Domus Romana is in a great location - the building and neighborhood are quiet, but there are many shops/restaurants nearby and it was extremely easy to take a bus/metro to the nearby sights.

It is kind of difficult to find it, because it has no a hotel ad, or something like that. It is better to call before the arrival. We need to wait a little bit because we did not called earlier..Our fault. The place is very clean, charming, not to big, but has everything needed to pass the night!! Clean shower, private... The location, excellent..15 minutes walking to the Coliseum, and from there you can walk, or take touring buses to rest of must see!!! Sandra, from the B&B, very nice and helpful person, speaks good english!!...I will stayed again over there!!

We spent 3 beautiful nights there, the landlord Maria was a gorgeous person, kind, and flexible. The place is kinda close to Termini. The breakfast was quite poor, but the room was clean and quiet. We recommend it to anyone who wants to have cheap and good place near the centre. J and A from Hungary

DomusRomana B&B is close to S.Giovanni in Laterano cathedral & Scala Santa , and 10 minutes to Colosseum It is perfect for people who love walking in the streets and not staying inside the room.

Very noisy in the night and the room is not that clean. You can assume there are no breakfast because they give you just very old breads (nobody eat them!) They are not clean your room much everyday as they said on the ad and The staffs are not that helpful. You can see them only the check-in and the check-out times. (when you paid for their room) I would said the only one thing I like in this B&B is "it's very near to the Metro and the colloseum".You can take a bus no.3 near Manzoni Metro just 5-10 minutes to the Colloseum.

The accomodation is totally adequate, centrally located and good value for money. However, it's located on the basement floor and the air in the room is moist, which could be uncomfortable for people with health problems. Perhaps this should be noted somewhere.

Very basic, but totally adequate accommodation. We got in very late (our flight was delayed) but Mauro met our shuttle out on the main road and showed us where the place was. There was a small mix-up with the beds - we had requested twin beds and in an effort to be helpful, the girl had made them up together...but we were able to sort it out with little problem. Very nice shower, plenty of hot water. There is no real lounge, but the room has a fridge and there is a lovely espresso maker in the kitchen. Room is very small, but again, perfectly adequate and the price was right! Location is between two metro stops and within walking distance to the Coliseum.

The only complaining is about the breakfast. I think they do not provide a real B&B as I am used to have in other places like England, Berlin...I beleave a breakfast shoul include more than a small cafe, only one small piece of bread roll and a small tetra brik of juice. Really poor

Nice and clean B&B, good rooms and bathrooms. Maybe a very small point: in the morning there's some noise - but all in all it's a great place to stay
