Bed and Breakfast Domus amoR Colosseo - Rome

This place was perfectly clean and convenient to the train station and the Coliseum. It's probably hard to find a decent place like this for the amount of money, so I would probably stay here again. But don't expect too much. The "bed & breakfast" is just three rooms in an apartment building - it feels very much like you are walking into a converted office. It is not cozy and it's hard to feel "at home" there. And, of all the places I stayed at in Italy, this was the only one where the staff was not welcoming. Maybe the manager was having a bad day, but it seemed like we really inconvenienced him when we showed up, and we saw him for about five minutes and never saw him again in the three days that we stayed there.

Domus amoR was a great place to stay. It was very comfortable and relaxed in a fantastic location. Davide was very welcoming and helpful. I stayed with my two teenage children and the room was fine for us. I have stayed twice in hotels in Rome before and this bathroom was superior to both of them. We had a great time and would definately come back to Domus AmoR when we return to Rome.

I was with a friend and we stayed just for 3 days. It was our first time in Rome and we arrived very very late at the hotel because our plane was delayed and because there were no taxi due to the snow. Davide, the receptionist, was kind enough to wait for us until 1am and once inside, he explained everything (keys, breakfast, bathroom, use, etc...). It is a medium size apartment with 3 rooms (bathroom in each), an office and a kitchen. Well located, clean and confortable room. Breakfast was so so, meaning as big as you want but beside toast, jam and coffee, not so much diversity (no fruit, no fresh bread, etc.). Good thing is that you can bring your own food and use everything in the kitchen, thus the fridge. Close to Colosseo and Subway/bus line. Pretty calm with a lot of shops around. Was a good experience and worth trying it.

This really was a great B&B. It felt like you had all the ammenities of being at home. You can use the kitchen, fridge, dishes all to your liking. There is even a washer and dryer with free soap to wash clothes. David (the hotel manager) is wonderful and helpful. True that the towels and rooms were not cleaend while we were there, but during the 4th night we ended up just throwing a few towels into the washer - not a big deal. Also free wi-fi! The place is very, very clean. I often walked barefoot from my room to the kitchen - it felt like being at home. The shower is a bit tiny but very modern and clean (every room comes with it's own bathroom). Hotel is 10 minute walk to the colloseum and 15 min walk to the main train station - Termini. Couldnt have asked for a better location. When we got there, David let us choose our room. We saw all rooms and I can tell you each was lovely with nice modern bathrooms. Love, love, loved this place. Can't wait to stay here again.

The location is very good (near for all places of sights and railway station). There is a good shop with sweets near this hotel. Free wi-fi in a room. There is all dishes as you need on a kitchen. I will recommend this hotel for family couples.

Excellent location. Room is rather small but livable.

It was a very very nice stay at Domus Colosseo (or Domus Amor Colosseo or Domus Valori, the bed and breakfast have three different names ...). David was there when we came in the evening and the room and bathroom were very nice and clean. As you see on the pictures it is in real. It is very near the Colosseum (5 minutes walk), near the metro, 10 minutes from the trainstation Termini etc. When I go back to Rome I will book Domus Colosseo again!!!! I could recommend it to everyone ..... Greetings, Agnes and Tom (mother and son of 13) PS. I find the price a little expensive but whole Rome is expensive ....

Really enjoyed my stay at Domus Colosseo. Rooms as in pictures... close Metro links (Emmanuelle Vittoro) and close supermarket and eateries, all within 5 minutes of Bed and Breakfast... Really liked the fact that I could cook my own meal if I wanted and the fact that the apartment came with all mod cons, washing machine, microwave, wifi etc... highly recommended Domus Colosseo and will definitely return again... Davide the hotel staff was very helpful too. Excellent value for money!

Usual B&B, nothing special. Situated close to Colosseo (in walking distance). Ragher quiet district (for Rome). In good distance from metro station (and in walking distance from railway station). Good price for value variant.

Stayed in Room with bathroom for 80 €. Very clean rooms and modern facilities (bathroom and great hair dryer). Great location near the Colloseum. Helpful and caring host. The only downside: Bed was not made and bath towels were not changed, even though we stayed some days, but maybe that's normal in a Italian B&B. Definitely would recommend this B&B again.

Rooms were very spacious and bed was very comfortable. The bathrooms were clean, but the shower was tiny. The location was great with the colosseum and termini nearby. I would definetely recommend this b&b.

We stayed at Domus amor Colosseo this Easter. I visit Italy every year, so I could definitely state that it was the best apartment I ever stayed in Italy! Everything looks exactly like on the pictures :) very clean, fresh, cosy. It was great that we could use kitchen and free wifi. We have found everything we needed. The Administrator was very friendly and helpful. The place is awesome! Quiet in nice 19th century building with very cosy courtyard right near the Colosseum and the beautiful Viale Della Domus Aurea.
