We stayed here on our last night in Rome because of its proximity to the train station. For that purpose it was fine. Rooms were very small, furnishings plain and dormitory like. Public areas non-existent. That said, it was clean and staff was pleasant. We got what we expected given the price and location.

The hotel is located in a good place, relatively close to the train station (Termini)- about 10 minutes walk, the buses and the underground - about 1o minutes. In order to get to the main attractions it is better to take bus or underground, otherwise you have to walk about 30 minutes. The room I stayed was big and nice but very noisy.The bathroom was clean but it needed the renovation for sure. The breakfast was very poor: a croissant with chocolate, some cookies and coffee or tea. The breakfast was served in room, unfortunately always later than it was agreed with the reception.

This was by far the worst place that we stayed during our 3 week stay in Italy. The place was not clean and the reception desk were not very helpful. The room was really small and cramped. Definitely avoid this place!!

Owner of the hotel claimed that in order to make payment via credit card, we need to pay additional 5% surcharge. This was not communicated to us in the first place! Not even in the hotel's website and not communicated via Venere! Now the question is business integrity. The owner sort of "blamed" us for booking through Venere hence their lower profit margins thus we gotta pay more i/t/o the 5% surcharge. Prior to Discover Roma, we have booked 4 hotels all through Venere. They have no problems accepting our credit card payments. They honoured their payment terms i.e. by credit card without charging extra!

Our 3 day stay at Discover Roma kicked off a wonderful three week vacation in Italy. We were tired following our long flight from the U.S. and were pleased with the friendly greeting from Lee. Joann took over the second day and was equally as friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient to the central train station, Termini, and the Metro. It is possible to walk everywhere and we found great neighborhood restaurants. The rooms are basic, clean and just what we were looking for to discover Rome.

Zimmer 2 war etwas klein. Das war aber auch der einzige kleine Nachteil. Insgesamt sehr gut. Vor allem sauber und zentral. Einem Hotel für den gleichen Preis ist diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall vorzuziehen. Wir würden wieder kommen!

Unterkunft alles super und zu empfehlen. Abends und nachts doch sehr laut, wenn die Fenster geschlossen sind, dann ists okay!Sehr freundlicher Service. Tisch im Zimmer wäre schon nett, sonst halt Frühstück im Bett. Warnung vor Straßenmusikern, die beim Geld sammeln sehr geschickt Taschen klauen!!!

Das Zimmer war sauber, geräumig und ruhig. Gut gelegen (5min von Termini). Supermarkt und gute, preiswerte Restaurants in der Nähe. Die Angestellten sind zuvorkommend und sind gerne bereit hilfreiche Tipps zu geben. Wir hatten ein gelungen Aufenthalt.

The B&B is an excellent central location and a 5 minute walk to Termini Station. We walked to Piazza del Popolo in about 20 minutes and the host had maps of key routes. The room was over the street and was a wonderful start to our Rome visit. Breakfast was simple and packaged, cappucinos excellent. Street noise is livable but present, there are some great non-tourist Trattoria close by. All in all a nice place to stay.

We were there for a very short time, but we appreciated the kindness of the hostess in helping us make taxi reservations for our very early flight the next morning. She even got up to prepare our breakfast before we left at 5am! This is very close to the Termini station and a good place from which to explore Rome.

Very nice hostel close to Termini and Barberini. You can walk in 15 min. to Piazza di Spagna and can take the bus to most important places. There is a couple of affordable and nice restaurants around the site. The rooms are tidy and clean. Breakfast is offered in the room, but we don´t mind about that. I think, this is a very good place to stay in Rome.

This was our 1st hotel in Europe. Owner and staff were very friendly and accomodating. Breakfast was good and servered in ones room. Thanks to all for a good stay, even though it rained every day. Adios....

We had a wonderful time. There was a little street noise, but when you want to be in the middle of Roma you must expect that. The owner and employees were wonderful and made us feel at home.

Très bien situé pour visiter Rome. Bus, Metro, Train: tout peut s'atteindre à pied aisément. Rue un peu bruyante mais nombreuses possibilités de restaurants très proches. Chambres spacieuses et propres mais peu de service/salle de bain. Petit déjeuner très rudimentaire .(Biscottes ou biscuits. Rien de frais. Une tasse de café, sans plus, sur plateau obligatoirement dans la chambre. Pas de salle à manger.

Very warm welcome by nice people (all of them) We had the room with twin beds witch is a bit tiny but very clean. Other rooms have more space. Location is good. 10 minutes from station termini; busstops (to the centre) around the corner.
