Location is very close to the train station and Roman Forum/Colesium. Room was small and old but the bathroom felt recently redone. Some mold in the VERY small shower. Not my favorite hotel we stayed in but a good for a days stop in Rome.

The "hotel" was on a very good location, walking distance from everything. I would recommend it for a short stay or just for spending a night or two. I wouldn't stay there again.

I was really afraid as what to expect after reading some bad reviews but then I realised that the worst ones were quite old and hoped thigs got better. And they certainly did. I don't know how the other rooms looked like but we were two couples in spacious double-bed rooms with A/C.Good furniture, comfortable bed, clean bathroom. Cleaning service every day! The street got a bit noisy in the night but all streets in Rome do. In fact it was probably the quietest street in Rome...also shutting windows did a great thing.Mother and daughter run the hotel, very nice and warm welcome, very willing. Will come back.

All previous reviews are relevant, and this is more a familly B&B than a hotel. Then you like it or not but this is a very nice experience in a real house, where you have to talk with the owners. A very central, old popular area of Rome (becoming hip, indeed). My room (5th floor) was extremely quiet, which is not common in Rome. You may have to know the city to fully appreciate the place.

Our stay here was the worst we have ever had, the people who run this place are extremely rude and unhelpful. The rooms are of poor quality, unclean, and are not anywhere of a 3 star standard. Please save your money and dont go here.

Hotel well located in the center. Reception under refurbishment. Decent little restaurant opposite the hotel. Room not very clean, no houskeeping over the 3 days. Spacious room, TV not working. Shower cabin broken. Friendly owner speaking French. Close to the opera House & Terminini station. Not appropiate for disable person (6th floor with out lift)

Not wildly impressed and at 120 Euros per night not good value at all, even in an expensive (for accomodation) city like Rome, this is not a good deal. The location is good. The hotel is within walking distance of the Colloseum and the Cavour metro station is just down the street, and the Via Urbana, on which the hotel stands, seems to be in the process of being gentrified, though coming back mid-evening in a taxi from somewhere or other I saw prostitutes on the street just a couple of streets from the Via Urbana and the hotel. Evidently the gentrification of the district is a recent phenomenon. The location is not so good. We were in the annex in a 2+1 room and there were a lot of stairs, which was a big problem for my elderly mother who was travelling with us. I guess I should have taken that into account when booking, so this one was my fault. However, the staff were more curt than polite and just going through the motions. The hotel pitches itself in terms of its historic value; it is in a former nunnery. For 'historic' read 'decrepit and falling to bits'. Close the door and the handle comes away in your hand, unplug the hairdryer and the cover of the circuit box falls off, open a drawer and the front panel comes away in your hand. My mother and my wife hated it, while I found it amusing...up to a point. The room was reasonably clean and the bathroom recently renovated. They need to do the same with the rest of the place. I liked the tiles in the bathroom and the beamed wooden ceiling was attractive, though I lay awake in fear every night expecting it to collapse on our heads at any moment.

Sorry but I have to say that this destination should not be named "hotel"., because the romms were beside the office in a normal house, were a loft semms to be owned by the hotel. There was no lift the romms were in a loft and locked by a small padlock. There were no change of the towels during the whole vacation. In summary the quality was not acceptable and I would recommend to venere to think about holding this "hotel" in your program. The best thing was the location and Rome itselves which compensated the disappointment.

We LOVED the family who runs this hotel owner lucia and her mother, lola were so warm and welcoming and helpful the location was PRIME for where we wanted to be- a few minutes walking distance from the coluseum and forum only a few steps to the metro and very close to a major street where you can catch buses to anywhere the street itself via urbana isone of rome's most charming and oldest streets pleasure to be there! there were three of us we are an older married couple and my sister was traveling with us so we had a big triple room and she had her own room however, many americans would be shocked by the shower in the room and no daily towel service- private toilet and sink this hotel has just started recently and is going to be really great soon! has more rooms to be renovated and a spa being built restaurant a few steps across the street for breakfast (included)and anytime

I chosed an hotel not a bed and brakfast. what they gave me was a couple of key for a room and a poor breakfast with automatic drink dispenser and some sweets. There is no relation between the presentation at VENERE and the service delivered.
