The reason why I give a low rate for service and welcoming is because of the owner. She was not very friendly and was even rude at our departure. Perhaps she was irritated that she didn't see us at all, we had a busy schedule. And besides that: we were not in Rome for her. The bed is a wooden thing, no comfort at all. The price was very good and also the location is excellent. But because of the rude en very onfriendly approach we certainly will not book again.

Excellent location from Termini Station and beside the Santa Maggiore. The hostel itself was lovely, clean, with fresh breakfast and the owner was kind and helpful. Only downside was that they enjoyed a loooong lunch hour 1-4pm during which we waited for 2 hours before checking in. Would suggest planning arrival time accordingly!

the only advantage of this room is its central location in Rome. The room is very basic, a bed and a chair (no table or bedside) and very noisy with street noise. This beb seems to be recent and needs to be improved but I'm not sure that the problem of the noise can be resolved.

(Español abajo) No breakfast if you leave the place early. We left the place at 8:15 and they gave us nothing to eat (they had promised us breakfast at 7 am). Shower without shampoo, very small and water did't clear up fast enought. Matress was divided in two and bed was unconfortable. Termini is a good area to stay if you want to take the trein to any another place, but is dangerous (much better near from piazza spain and near from vaticano and much cheaper near from vaticano and much better). We stayed for 3 weeks in Italy and it was our worst and most expensive experiance.

Marta was very friendly and welcoming. She also went out of her way to assist us when necessary and was very helpful. The location of this B&B is very handy to everything, including Termini (but not too close) and within walking distance from many major attractions, and some really lovely winebars and restaurants in Monti.

Thank you very much! We had a good time in Roma, room is very white and clean. Bathroom is clean as well, shower place is good. We stayed for 2 nights, linen was changed and room was made up after the first night. Breakfast is simple, good! Location is really good, very near the train station. Local information about the sites visit was detailed provided by the lady, it's really useful! Free Wi-Fi provided, it's great! However, a bit noisy in the morning from the cars outside because it is located on the first floor. Anyway, much appreciated! Thank you!

In general we are satisfied by our staying in Contemporaneo Rooms. Of course, the room (double with bath) wasn't too big, and there wasn't much furniture in the room, but there was all that is necessary for just 3-night staying. And Martha, the mistress, is very hospitable, we are very grateful to her! One grieving thing - there isn't a conditioner in the room, and nights in August are very hot.

I am a mom traveling with my adult son. Contemporaneo Rooms is very close (3 blocks) to the Termini Station. Not many restaurants close-by that we noticed but Rome is a very walkable city and 15minute walk to a variety of good restaurants. There are 3 gelato/dessert/coffee places within a block of Contemporaneo Rooms. Our room faced a very busy street so it was noisy if we left the window open but quiet with it closed. Our room only had a double bed but the very sweet owner provided a cot for son so we did not have to sleep in the same bed. She also offered some areas with more reasonable priced restaurants and directions to major sights which she wrote on a map for us. She was very sweet and helpful.

This B&B was one of the few left affordable accomodation that was available when we book it for the first week end of May ( one of the busiest of the year !!! ). It is close to Termini Station and deserted at night but our room had a view on a Church and we even manage to see the Pope who was celebrating a mess in there. The room was simple but very clean. Everything seems to be brand new. Martha was very friendly and prepare us a good breakfast even when we wake up late. The only issue is the noise but I anticipate and bring some earplug and that was fine as we were exhausted from our visits. In a high peak season, it is a very good value for your money.
