I really appreciate my 3 days at "Chez Diana". As it is a small structure, it is very easy to interact with Diana and exchange really good tips about Roma. I enjoyed a lot my stay and if I have to come back, I will do at "Chez Diana" for sure.

We could have not possibly had a more pleasant stay at Chez Diana! Our plane was late & we had phone troubles; arriving almost 2 hours later than expected; but Diana was never-the-less very warm and receptive when we did arrive. The area is great and very convenient to the Metro and The Vatican. Diana had truly wonderful and reasonably priced restaurant suggestions. In addition, the shower was good - good pressure & plenty of hot water. Being Europe, there was a minimum of space in the room & being Rome there was a certain amount of street noise outside; but nothing unusual or overly unpleasant. Best of all was Diana herself. She was an absolute delight and could not be more accommodating. Book here - you will not be disappointed!

A very warm welcome from Diana. Excellent and varied breakfast. Good location close to Metro, Vatican and local restaurants. A safe residential area. Although property apparently not easy to find, the location instructions were good. Would heartily recommend.

It was a great pleasure, to stay at the first visit in Roma in such a nice accomodation, downtown, but quiet. Diana speaks a good English and she waited a long time, because we were postponed by plane. The other day I red: We came as guests and left as friends, may be there was a little bit of that became true. A bad result: my wifes mobile was stolen out of her bag, but it was older than many of the sights we could visit, and so she ist looking forward getting a new one soon...

This is a great private apartment with shared self catering facilities (fully functining Kitchenette). There is a supermarket around the corner with a deli, bakery and a comprehensive range of wine available. Prices are very reasonable. The area is within close walking distance to the Vatican and a good number of reasonable quality restaurants etc. The hostess is extremely pleasant and gracious. We will certainly try to return to this apartment on our next visit to Rome.

Diana was very welcoming, friendly, helpful, and we particularly enjoyed the feeling that we were staying in a 'real' Roman apartment, and not just another hotel.

First of all sorry Diana that we are writing this review so late. But our stay here was excellent. From beginning to end. It started by Diana answering all my questions by email in a timely manner. As this was our first time to Rome we didn't know what to expect. She asked how we were going to get to her place from the airport and I told her we would take the metro, she offered us a driver that she uses and we were so glad she did. The airport isn't exactly close to the center of Rome and we would of defiantly got lost. When we got there she was there to meet us, took us up to our room where we settled in. She then asked us what time we would like breakfast and if we wanted to eat in our room or in the kitchen, which we thought this was great hospitality. As she would want to cater to our needs not hers. We then sat talked and got situated. The next morning we got up breakfast was served at the time agreed upon, and what great conversations we had. She would ask us about our day before, what we were doing today, talking about family, immediately we felt as if we were staying with family. We looked forward to breakfast so we could have our conversations. There were a couple of days that Diana had to go away to take care of another property so here daughter Sylvia came in to help. The apple doesn't fall to far from the tree, at first she was quiet then we got to know each other better and she was just like her mom.She told us about places to eat and shop. As for the property, it is just a 10 min walk to the Vatican, 5min to the metro. The area was safe. The room and bathrooms were cleaned every day. My wife and I were so glad we stayed here first as it set the tone for the rest of our trip. We went to Florence, Verona, Venice and back to Rome. And every time we stayed some where we compared it to Chez Dianas which was no comparison. Not that the other places werenot nice. But It was the friendliness, hospitality, cleanliness and warmth that Diana and Sylvia provid

We can't praise Diana and her wonderful daughter enough! As others have said, facilities are small, but hey, I didn't go to Rome to sit in a room. Cleanliness and friendliness were fantastic. Should we end up in Rome again, we definately will only stay at one place-Chez Diana.

Elke Hanke, Germany Aug/Sept 2011 We stayed overnight at CHEZ DIANA for 14 days. A very clean and comfortable B & B. Bus station and Metro are nearby, also restaurants, supermarket and a big market hall, to the Vatican town 10 minutes to walk. Diana is a very friendly person. She is speaking very good English. Breakfast is OK! You can breathe a wish and next morning she gets it. Diana made our holiday perfect. Anytime we will go back into this fantastic Roma, to CHEZ DIANA!

Diana made me feel very at home and welcome. The room was beautifully decorated and very clean and comfortable. The shared facilities (kitchenette) were again very clean and beautifully decorated and had everything you would need. Breakfast next morning was beautifully presented and very Roman. The area is safe to walk alone at night and very close to the train service.(Only one stop from the Vatican station.) There were also lots of places to eat out and shop. It's very suitable fo anyone travelling alone, for a couple or if you book two rooms two friends travelling together. I'll be back.

Chez Diana was everything we expected from the great reviews posted online . Diana and her daughter were delightful people and made us feel like old friends during our stay . We stayed in her smaller room which is fine for 2 people . Room was clean , everything worked and the breakfast was the typical European type . Absolutely would recommend to anyone heading to Rome .

We stayed at Chez Diana for the three days we were in Rome. Diana and her daughter were extremely warm and helpful. They prepared a fresh, filling breakfast for us each day and helped us plan our itinerary - they had many useful tips. The apartment is about three blocks from the metro and we found it very easy to get around the city. When we saw how crowded with tourists the city centre was we were very happy to be staying a little ways away from the action. We found an amazing restaurant about two blocks away down the main street off of the round about.

Diana is an enthusiastic, kind-hearted, outstanding hostess who personally insures that your stay and visit to Rome will be the very best they can be! We left knowing we'd made a true friend in this great city and could explore it with the confidence and security that someone was looking out for us with a sincere, generous personal investment in our welfare and interests, offering adorable rooms and a delicious breakfast, as well! We enjoyed a secure, authentic living situation in a safe neighborhood only a short walk from the train system and all corners of the city. I highly, highly recommend Chez Diana without any hesitation! :-)

The location behind the Vatican ended up being great (I was worried at first that it was too much outside of old Rome) : it's a quieter neighborhood but you could get anywhere on foot and my evening walk home was always through San Pietro - not too shabby. Breakfast was very good and simple and your host makes absolutely sure you have everything you need. Access to a fully equipped kitchen is very nice. The bathrooms are very nice and clean as well.

Chez Diana is excellent positioned near to Cipro metro stop and only 5 minutes from the entrance of Vatican Museums. The room and the toilet were very clean and the breakfast and coffee excellent. Extremely welcoming and helpful Diana and her daughter Silvia made our stay very pleasant and definitely to wish to return again. They made us feel like staying at friends and family place and coming there after long walks was as coming home.

THIS B&B IS THE BEST WE HAVE EVER STAY. Of course one can find better this or this elswere... But nothing can replace the welcoming of Diana, her competence, her kindness, her disponibility, her knowledge of Italy, of Roma, her cultural background... Diana's presence during breakfast, speakin and answering to all questions was a pleasure such than we would have almost prefer to stay and speak with her every of these 8 mornings than going to visit Vatican, Pantheon, Colisseo, Baroque churches, and other places and so lovely streets... Diana has the concept that a B&B is not like hotel: the individual welcoming is all the difference. Her daughter took us up to Etruscan necropoleis of Cerveteri though it was out of her way by 5 km. Notice: though there is no photo of the shower and so on..., everything is very clean and sufficient. There is plenty of room to the wardrobe. The whole is very comfortable. Notice also: an EXCELLENTISSME pizza maker of many kinds just few meters down the block...

I loved my time at Chez Diana, but I wish it wasn't as expensive as it was. As an independent traveler on my first trip straight out of college, I was hard pressed for the money to stay at this place but found it hard to find anything else last minute. The staff is really great and they make you feel like part of the family.

We chose this accommodation based on reviews from TripAdvisor and it completely met our expectations. The owner Diana is really focused on taking care of her guests, you feel like she's a friend. She puts her heart into making your stay as comfortable as possible. She also has some good local advice to offer, always useful, e.g. if you are looking for a good place to have lunch or dinner. The place is in excellent condition and located in a quiet area within walking distance from the San Pietro -you can see its dome when you step out the front entrance. We slept really well and the cappuccino in the morning is not to be missed. We made sure we tossed some coins over our backs into the Trevi fountain and wen we do return, we know where to stay.

Diana is a lovely woman, the rooms are very well equipped, beautiful and very very clean. And the fresh-baked croissants were excellent. The rooms look fairly better than in pictures, they're so romantic and the building is so suggestive. Definitely, the best b&b I've ever stayed in!!!

Chez Diana made all the diference about our stay in Rome; Diana is a lovely woman, atencious, provided a great breakfast, the best capuccino in Rome :) and all the extra information we needed about Rome and surroundings. Chez Diana is just 2 blocks from Cipro Metro Station (line A), next to a great supermarket and a walk-distance from the Vaticam Museum and "praça Sao Pedro"; I strongly recomend Chez Diana. Meraviglioso! A presto Diana.

Our stay & the B&B host (Diana) were excellent. Such beautiful relaxing accommodation, complete with a full, shared, kitchen made our stay perfect. Diana was charming & looked after our needs in generous fashion. We cannot wait to stay there again & when we next enjoy Rome's delights. It is located close enough to the tourist action but in a quiet location thus allowing you to enjoy suburban peace & quiet with supermarket shopping, some tree-lined avenues & little cafes. Taxis, a large market, Chinese restaurant, Internet facilities & a cheap little pizzeria around the corner that makes the very best pizza I have ever had top off a great location. Diana will advise further. Only three points to mention on matters which may have been my "fault" however they're worth noting. These relate to finding the place & contacting Diana: (1)Located only two streets behing St.Peter's Museums the location was just one street off all the maps sold in the Rome newspaper shops. We went by train to the local station (which is only 200 metres from Chez Diana...and proceeded to get lost! I recommend a taxi from the city. About 12 to 15 Euros from Roma Termini Station. (2)I don't think the web-site tells you that Chez Diana is actually Apartment 23 (on the 4th floor) in an apartment block. There is no signage only the small word "Diana" on an intercom button on the 'left' side of the large entrance gates. We missed this as, walking up the street from the other direction, we only saw the intercom buttons on the 'right' side of the large gates. As well inside the entrance gates there was no mention of "Chez Diana" on any apartment letter-boxes. It was only through sheer luck we returned to these apartments(having given up) some two hours later to double-check. (3)I also strongly suggest you obtain Diana's mobile(cell) phone number as you may arrive at a very different time to that agreed & she may be elsewhere. These matters are easily addressed. A wonderful stay.
