The matress and the ground under the matress was extremely dirty, so as an allergic person I experienced big problems I usually don't have in normal dirty/clean rooms. Otherwise very nice stay!

The owners were very nice and helpful. Would have liked a little better description of how to get there from the train station. There was no one to open the door for us, so we had to uses an internet cafe phone to call for someone to open up for us. Had to wait on the street. The unit was very small, with only one chair and the bed for seating.

This B&B is on the fourth floor of a nice apartment building. There are only 3 rooms. I stayed in the single room which had a double bed, very nice pvt bath with large shower (only soap provided), closet, 1 chair, TV with dozens of italian stations, window overlooking the street, but no desk nor drawers. At check-in, you are provided with 4 keys: 1 for the room, 1 for the apartment, 1 for the elevator, and 1 for the building. Owners come and go at odd hours, room was cleaned sporadically. Linens changed only every 3 or 4 days. One evening I had a problem with a leaky toilet. The owners were prompt and had it fixed the next morning. Breakfast is self-serve in the kitchenette / public area. Packaged croissants/toast and coffee/tea. Neighborhood is busy with cars and foot traffic to/from the train station 1 block away. Windows are not sound proof, the street noise is bothersome (as is the church bell barage at 7am). Many restaurants/bars within walking distance. Some homeless people on the streets day and night. Overall a good, clean, inexpensive place to stay.

A nice, clean and quiet room. Realy close to Termini. Whitch is realy important because from Termini you can take the bus or Metro to every place. Its just a small flat with 3 rooms. But it also has a smal kitchen and every room a television.

We were very happy with Casa Vincenza for our stay in Rome. It is very clean, with a new fresh, great shower. Breakfast is self service in the kitchenette, which is adequate. The air conditioning was very welcome after a hot day in Rome. Owner is very friendly and helpful, and says a lift is due to be installed soon. This will be a welcome addition to the facilities.

Positives: The location was excellent. Two minutes from the station and hop-on hop-off bus. The room was clean and cheerful. Negatives: There is no one in the premises most of the time. One has to give exact time of arrival so that the owner can give us the keys, and after that the only person you see is the cleaning lady who comes at 8AM and speaks only Italian. Breakfast is very limited and always the same. A bun, a pastry, and coffee. There is no tourist information, no restaurant guide, no information, period. You are not told that the B&B is on the 4th floor (88 steps!), which is quite something when you have to haul luggage. The owner did carry one suitcase up for us, but was not there when we left. He insisted on cash payment, and we had to leave it on the room table. No receipt. No trash can in the room, only one chair, no place to store clothes.

I arrived at night and no one opened the door despite Cristina was warned of my arrival several times in advance. I not only had to pay a hotel without reservation for that night but, Cristina charge me the night to my credit card. 4th floor without elevator. The breakfast is extremely poor (a glass o milk or coffee and a cookie). For the same price you can stay in an hotel with a very complete breakfast, reception and without stairs at just 30 steps from the place.

After several disappointing stays in noisy unclean hotels, this was a nice surprise. The room was spaceous, the bathroom perfect, the service personal and pleasant. But .... be sure you make a clear appointment about the time of arrival, so there is someone to open the door. Plenty of reasonable restaurants in the surrounding area. Really very close to station, still no much noise at night.

We had a great time in Rome, this B&B was excellent, even though is was on the 4th floor with no elevator! Francesco was really nice and very helpful all the time. Only one thing missing from breakfast is a kettle to make tea... Free wifi was provided. Thanks again for everything!

Casa Vicenza is an excellent B&B in Rome. It's conveniently located very near the station Termini and the owner is very nice and helpful. It's on the 4th floor and there is no elevater but he helped me to carry my luggage. The room is nice and clean, the surroundings are quiet even though near the station. I'll definitely come back to this B&B in near futuer.

Highly recommneded. Clean and welcoming. Free Italian Coffee brewing lesson on arrival! No staff on premises at night-it is effectively an apartment (in an apartment block) divided into rooms with a common kitchen. Breakfast is do it yourself from comprehensive contents of fridge. Up four flights of stairs-no problem to us but might challenge some.

This is an excellent B & B. The only mistake that I made was not realising that I needed to give an exact arrival time. However, a telephone call to the B & B number reached Francesco who was at the B & B in 5 minutes to help me get settled. He was most gracious and I look forward to staying at Casa Vicenza again.

I stay here twice during my trip to Italy. The first stay was at the big apartment and the second stay was the room you see in the website. The apartment was a little old and tired but was generally comfortable feels like home. The rooms were brand new and recently renovated, looking like a boutique hotel. My only issue was the fact that communication with the owner is not well. I had to wait at my premise for 30 mins before someone came (the owner does not stay on premise). For my second stay, I had specifically told him and her in advance when I will be back but was still delayed. Do also note that the apartments are on the 5th story of the building and there are no signs. The other building residents also did not know. I think the owner should at least label the doors with the Casa Vicenza and the contact number. Other than that, the positives are the local (just next to Termini) and you can just go shopping for groceries at the Condad supermarket in the Termini. There are also many restaurants and trattorias nearby.
