The ownership had recently changed and we were not able to pay by credit card. Other than that minor inconvenience, we enjoyed our stay at Casa Franci. It is in a nice area and it is in walking distance to St. Peter's Basilica, lots of restaurants, a supermarket, the bus stop and the railroad station.

This is budget accommodation in every sense of the word. Shabby rooms in a small apartment and the owner (Cesar) smokes, so all patrons can expect to wake up to a foul, smoke filled room. I would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

The B & B did not feel like a B & B instead an apartment with 3 rooms with next to no contact with anyone. The breakfast was the worst that we have had throughout our 2 month trip to Europe so we were surprised at the reviews to say how wonderful the breakfast were. The croissants were prepackaged and no jam or fillings were offered. The first day we had two packaged biscuits and nothing else and the coffee was totally undrinkable. It was our last stop on our travels and we were very disappointed with this B & B. the only positive thing that we can say is that Francesca was very friendly.

The room was very nice, clean and spacious, breakfast was great and staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is great - very close to San Peter's and Vatican and well connected to other areas. The only spoiler is that room and terrace are overlooking San Peter's train station - it's a bit noisy in the morning.

I misread directions and took long way round, having lots of luggage I rang for someone to help me. The owner made me feel stupid and showed no empathy. Day1 I left fan on and returned 3hrs later and it was off. Day3 when cleaning up B4 departure I find a large stubbed out cigar in ashtray on my balcony.I went for dinner @9.30pm on Day2, why was owner in my room on 2 occasions and why after 9.30pm, no housekeeping was being done?A sole female traveller could find this intimadating and its completely unacceptable!!!

Ok so this is someone's house but what a welcome. They are friendly and helpful. location is fantastic for getting into Rome. The price excellent. Rooms are clean and spacious. We had the room with the balcony and a lovely breakfast awaited every morning which we eat on the balcony. Both Francesca and Cesar offer well priced, clean and excellent B&B accomodation. If you want somewhere just to lay your head and a good breakfast then this is highly recomended.

The hosts were great and the location quiet and residential (which is exactly what we wanted.) The Vatican was just a short walk away (5 minutes tops) and the rest of Rome was easily accessible by public transport. Also had some great, inexpensive restaurants down the street which were a nice contrast to the heavily marked-up prices around the more touristy parts of the city. Overall, the B&B was a great deal for the money. The room we had was a touch small but not cramped. We loved our stay.

Everything is perfect, but it's quite difficult to find because there's no signboard there.

It has been one year when I visited Casa Franci. It was a very good stay and we got a very very warm welcomed. The location is a bit hard to find but it is closed to the train station. Easy to get to the train station and bus station to central Rome. I will definetly go back to Casa Franci if I got chance to go to Rome again.
