As a bed & breakfast this was a very good choice, I especially enjoyed the friendly attitude of the proprietor and the breakfasts (good & huge!). Free WiFi available at all times (this is unfrequent indeed). The price however (90 euros per night) was definitely high, in other cities in Italy one would easily find a 3-stars room for 80 or less.

Wonderful little B&B near everything you need to see in Rome. Massimo was a wonderful host, we would definitely return and recommend Capricci Romani to anyone visiting Rome. Magnifico!

Massimo was a very warm, welcoming and helpful host. Not only did he provide breakfast, but also a picnic lunch. I would happily return.

Location is excellent specially if you plan to spend good time at the Vatican. Transportation is close. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Only negative is the bathroom, hot water might be a problem as well as the shower, so small that you'll probably soap all the curtains with your body. This seems to be a constant in Rome though. I'd be back to this B&B on my return to Rome.

The b&b is excellently located very close to the Vatican and with very good bus connections to all the major sights (max. 15 minutes to everywhere in the inner city centre). The staff was (if present) very helpful and the rooms very clean. Nevertheless, it had a few serious downturns: 1.) The rooms were very small. Reason was that out of 1 (square) room they cut 2 (triangle) rooms by building a diagonal wall in the original room. The remaining space was so low that there was space for only 1 chair, so only one of us could sit in the room. There were also no seats in the public area. A 1-week holiday without a possibility to sit is not a real enjouyment for us. 2.) On the website, they show their "rooftop-terrace" and even show a delicious breakfast table on this terrace. This was the major reason why we had chosen this b&b. But this terrace is almost unaccessible, we had to severely insist to get the key and were very disappointed, since there was no chair or anything else on this terrace (which could be a jewel..) and of course also no breakfast. They obviously had put the breakfast table on the terrace only for the photo and then never again. We felt a little betrayed by this type of "marketing" 3.) They say on their website that breakfast can be taken in the nearby cafe (which belongs to the same owners). We did this once and were very unfriendly welcomed in this cafe, they immediately phoned to the b&b why we did not take breakfast in the b&b. For the further days, we had to do the latter, and this breakfast was terrible: One very thin coffee and a few packaged croissants. Much worse than in the cafe that was restricted to us. It was not too bad, but something I hate is such discrepancies between what I am offered and what I get...

Very centrally located (near Vatican, and over the road from Castel St Angelo), in a beautiful part of Rome. Be aware that the owner does not live on the property, so you need to ensure he knows when you arrive, or you may not be able to get into the building, let alone the BB&B (which is on the 4th floor). Nevertheless, he speaks perfect English and is so helpful (we had a problem, he was a great help).

Not quite as centric as thought and impossible to access by subway but a nice neighbourhood. The place was full so our room was a little small but clean and bright. Personnel was great!

Overall a very nice place to stay. Owner and staff were very friendly and helpful!!! Location is great! Nice, lovely rooms BUT cleaning is quite slapdash as there was dusty under the beds and in the corners.

Great location, and the best service. They were so helpful by recommended many great eating spots and gave us local knowledge. Not the best place for the nightlife as this is the Vatican end of town but everything is close by and we would definitely stay there again. Cheers.
