PROS: location - very near the Metro and Vatican City, breakfast is okay rather than NONE at all and kitchen complete, free wifi CONS: don't expect somebody to welcome you or contact you if you will be arriving in the afternoon - when we got to the place after 5 pm because of getting lost with the directions - NOBODY answered the bell and doors are locked, has to call roaming to get hold of the employee and waited a good 20 mins outside / POOR and UNHIEGENIC design on room # 4 - STINKING like HELL and has to leave the windows open and the vent/fan all night otherwise will suffocate from latrine smell coming from the sink, shower and bidet toilet. Why would an architect or interior decorator put the bed right in between a separate shower with open top wall (walls not up to the ceilings) and no door or enclosure and just a very thin curtian ?? bidet toilet and sink on the other side of the bed also with open top wall and only has a thin curtain - so when you shower or use the toilet, all smell, moist and humidity goes up and over the open top walls and thin curtians and down to you on the bed !! The main toilet (which only has an accordion plastic door) also beside the bed has a toilet seat that is skewed to the left and not centered on the small toilet room - that's why you have to sit on the toilet sink sideways !!! I will think twice of staying in this place again - don't know if this is common in any B & B in Rome. Just sad to say that this place, Rome and the people didn't meet our expectations. Coming from New Zealand and the USA, we found people of Rome to be rude and will take advantage of others specially tourists.

Great location in Vatican. Rooms are very personally designed(IKEA+Flo)We could use the kitchen what was very practical. The Breakfast is included in price, even if continental - delicious! As usually in Rome the radiators were out of order (were off)-end of OCT/NOV. I would definitely stay at this place again.

We had an excellent weekend in Rome, as always enjoying the city, with the nice weather and the stay at Ceasar's Rooms making it all complete. A very good 'caffè latte' to start the day with and a nice room to come back to and relax after having walked in the city all day. We would definitely recommend this bed & breakfast to others!

We liked this bed and breakfast so much that friends of ours stayed there this week. We really liked being able to make our own breakfast/coffee when we wanted to, loved having free internet available, grateful for the close proximity to everything, comfortable rooms and the helpfulness of everyone there. The only thing that we didn't plan on was not being able to use a credit card. This meant getting enough Euros to pay our bill.

Not bad for its price. The hotel is next to Vatican and the metro station Ottaviano (50-100 meters). You cannot communicate in English with the host (as with most Italian people) and you have to pay only by cash. Stylish.

The couple that run the B&B are very nice. The location was excellent as was close to the metro and the Vatican. The rate I got for a last minute reservation was great. The internet was free for everyone to use. I like the way you could prepare your own breakfast at your leisure and having a microwave was really handy. Would definately recommend Ceasar's

The place was fantastic. It may be important in Rome to have a place to stay close to a subway station: you walk a lot in Rome and get tired easily. Caesar's Rooms are 50m from the subway station of the Vatican. The place was very very clean and welcoming.

Guliano was a great host and the room and location was excellent. Overall a great stay, nice bed and shower after a long day of sightseeing, very rustic room with stone walls, ethernet Internet connection in room (cable provided), or Guliano allows use of his PC in the common area. Close to Vatican and Metro A line, good city/site map provided. If you get sick of pasta try Zen sushi about 1 km away. I think the directions from Metro need updating - not sure if the designated street exit actually exists and note that there is no sign on building simply a little apartment address panel and buzzer. Liked it very, very much!!!

The location whas excellent... just steps from the metro and short walk to the Vatican. Owner was extremely helpful and accomodating. Nice to have use of a computer for internet. Very comfortable bed and great kitchen for use of guests. We will definitely return when we go back to Rome.

The location of Caesar's Rooms is very convenient, just steps to the Metro (Ottiavano) and a 5 minute walk to the Vatican. The pictures of the common areas of the B&B are very accurate. The B&B is located on the second floor and therefore is insulated from street noise. However, we could hear noises from the other rooms and the common areas, but it wasn't a big deal. The breakfast consists of cereal, coffee or cappuchino, toast, yogurt, cheese and other bread breakfast items. We stayed in the double room with its own bathroom. The room was big (for European standards) and clean. It had a mini-fridge, which was nice because we went to a supermarket and filled it with snacks and drinks. The bathroom was big and clean -- the only complaint is that the shower is small and drains slowly. The host Guiliano was very nice and helpful. Please note that our room did not have satellite TV, therefore the only channels available were in Italian (no CNN or Sky).

THe location of the hotel is good (steps away from Vatican) and the area is nice. Breakfast though could surely be improved by adding some fresh baked goods and non processed cheese, some ham also could be nice. Extremely thin walls no sound proofing. Clean pleasant rooms and nice staff though do not expect the staff to speak much english or help you with directions. Overall a good place to stay in Rome.

This B&B is gorgeous! The gentleman who runs the place (we think his name is Giuliano??) is very friendly and the woman who cleans the rooms is very thorough and pleasant. The breakfast is delicious. Giuliano allowed me to use his internet-connected laptop, which stayed in a common area all the time. He also helped with some printing and faxing I needed. The hotel is on the second or third floor, with a small (by American standards) elevator. The building has an open terrace in the middle and our room faced that. The good thing is that there's natural light, but the bad thing is that there's a semi-private walkway (as seen in their photo), which has the potential for people to walk by, resulting in a possible slight loss of privacy. Speaking of privacy, the WC is in a niche, behind one of those collapseable doors and the bidet and shower are only separated from the bed & the rest of the room, by a wall (there is a nice curtain in the shower stall). Room had a fridge, color TV, & desk/closet bar area. B&B is less than a 10 minute walk to vatican, 1 minute to (Ottaviano) metro and super close to a great Middle Eastern (below street level) restaurant, and very near to lots of very good bars, cafes, gelato, live music, shopping, etc. Highly recommended! PS: Into bones? Check out the Cappucin Crypt (near the Spanish Steps??) - crazy stuff!

The room was beautifully designed and very spacious, however, the person who tidied up was a bit over-zealous, which provided us with some amusement! Also, we found the near-silence at breakfast time a bit uncomfortable (obviously due to language barriers) so we thought maybe a radio or some light background music would ease this situation. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, the bedroom and bathroom were both very spacious and the location was very convenient in every way. Maybe the breakfast could do with a bit more variety, but we loved the rooms - very tasteful and comfortable.

We traveled through Italy over 15 days and The Caesar Rooms was by far the best place we stayed. The room was very tastefully decorated, clean and spacious with a large en-suite bathroom. The place itself was situated close to the Vatican and a Metro station was just outside. The owner, Stefano, was friendly and very helpful. Excellent!

This was a wonderful room at great value. The host was a most helpful, genial man. Only 5 minutes from the Vatican and an easy subway ride to the Spanish Steps and the heart of historic Rome. The neighborhood is safe, bustling and a number of restaurants. A great bargain. I would stay again and send all my friends.
