Bed and Breakfast Cadorna Holiday - Rome

Everything was ok, we enjoyed our stay and would like to come back some day.

Excellent B&B.Good location near bus stop, subway, train station.Everything was really good and the owner was very friendly and welcoming.Highly recommend cadorna, well worth the money.

I hadn't noted an e-mail sent by the proprietor and thus there was no one there to let my party in when we arrived---thankfully other guests e-mailed Paolo and let him know we had arrived and he was there in a few minutes to let us in and give us our keys. The B&B has recently been renovated and is very clean with nice heavy wooden furniture--the care given in renovation shows! Paolo's wife baked a cake daily and there was plenty of fresh fruit and cereal for breakfast along with juices and coffee. Our only complaint---if it can be called a complaint, was that there weren't always enough towels left for our party of 3--otherwise everything was great. Hotel location is close to the Metro and thus close to the city center.

Excellent B&B. Clean, good internet access, nice fresh fruit, juice, milk, tea, coffee, cake. Good location near bus stop, subway, train station. Felt safe. Have to keep windows closed most time otherwise noise from restaurant below is loud. Air conditioning a plus on hot days. Be sure that host confirms your arrival date and time, otherwise there is no one there to meet you and you cannot get in. It is a private apartment, no lobby with someone there at all times. Be sure you have the hosts' phone number in case you have to call them up. The host comes in to do the cleaning and provide fresh food, etc. when you are out. There are 3 rooms, 2 suitable for a couple, each, and 1 with a king size bed and another almost double size bed. I would go there again.

We were only able to stay one night (thanks to Delta Airlines) but wish we could have stayed longer. This room was good and pretty much as advertised. Tile floors, nice furnishings, AC, and internet in the common area. The private bath is a bit small but adequate. It is close enough to walk to Termini, but if you have luggage, I would recommend the bus or a cab. We walked to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain from the room and got the subway to the Colosseum. All were easy walks.

Not expecting much as we walked down the road and seen the front door we buzzed in and went inside. the building looking run down. the building is shared with other businesses and what not and cadorna is on the 5th floor, so take the lift if you have a heavy bag, its not as bad as it looks. once inside the actual B&B part we were welcomed warmly by the staff who gave us a very handy map and gave us some useful info. the owners dont stay at the B&B so it almost feels like your own house and with the lock on the door feels very safe. the room we had was massive it was very clean and very safe. not good location for buses concerning the attractions but if you think it looks out of the way, its not, walking anywhere is very easy and fast. highly recommend cadorna, well worth the money.
