room was in basement without windows, a litle bit stifling, breakfest are just one patty and coffe, location and welcoming good.

Stayed 3 time in Rome at Blackberry (5 nights). Was convenient, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast could have been better - sometimes the coffee was cold (not fresh??) and bread should have been provided. Internet good and filtered water a bonus.

Barbara was really nice and welcoming and gave us alot of information when we arrived. The hostel is ok cause its close to the metro station, close to the central station and close to the Colosseum. If you do not mind comfort and are looking for something cheap in Rome this is the place to stay. Nevertheless, I would advise Barbara to at least put a fan in the rooms. It was so hot (we came in August) it was impossible to sleep. Then we had to have the windows open all the time and since our room was facing the main street it was very very loud. We had to take cold showers all the time to bear the heat. Then, another negative point was we got no breakfast. When we arrived there was breakfast but the next days they seem to have forgotten about us and we had to take breakfast somewhere else.

It was wonderful, Barbara and Alessandra ere very welcming and willing to help us with every need or question. It felt like staying with a friend or family member.

We stayed in Rome for 3 days from the 20th to the 23th march. We really enjoyed our stay at the Blackberry B&B for several reasons: - The owner and the personal are fantastic and very helpfull: waited for us at the door untill 12:00 PM the first night to welcome us... Prepared me the breakfast the evening before I had to wake up very early... and provided us with lots of good information about Rome... - The location is central, safe, clean and calm... - Free internet Thanks a lot Barbara ! I was traveling with my 77 year old mother and Barbara (hostess) greeted us with warmth and enthusiusm. Barbara was very willing to help us find anything or any place we wanted to go. Had several guide books and lots of free maps. Her English was sketchy, but she called her friend to clarify exactly what we were wanting. She had FREE internet for us to use at anytime, and we were even able to print out our boarding passes. Enjoyed meeting the others who were staying there.

Ci sono stato per un giorno io e la mia ragazza.Bed & Breakfast Blackberry House è situato è situato a pochi passi dalla metro che facilita tantissimo gli spostamenti. Siamo stati favorevolmente colpiti dall'accoglienza e dalla gentilezza del personale. La camera che ci è stata assegnata era piccolina ma luminosa. Ci sono due bagni esterni che dispongono di tutte le principali comodità. Compresa nel prezzo un'abbontante e colazione ed il colleganento ad internet. Peccato che manca la TV. Nel complsso sono molto soddisfatto. Lo consiglierei ad un amico!

i think overall the place was good, at first we were shooked, beacuse the place was really small but after a while, and after talkin to Barbara (the owner) we started to like it. the location was GREAT. and from outside it was really cousy and "private".

Excellent location. Near metro stops. Clean rooms and bathroom. Free internet! But greatest asset is the owner, Barbara--the most hospitable, helpful, and kind host one could ask for in a strange city. Gave us directions and tips, even called a taxi for us. And allowed us to leave our luggage when we went out of town for 2 days. All other guests were also very nice and friendly. You feel like you are one big family.

The Host Barbara is very nice, speak a little bit english. She will give you a brief introduction of the surrounding when you arrive. The breakfast is common but rich in quantities.
