The room was clean, staff friendly and the location of the B&B was in walking distance of the Colloseum. Alternatively you could take the Metro station which is very close. A bonus was the window view of San Giovanni Basilica at night and also when waking up in the morning.

An Italian breakfast is not like an English one. You have a fridge in the room and a supermarket nearby if you want more. The room for 3 persons has an own badroom - superclean!We really enjoyed our stay with Gabriella.

Actually, I was pleasantly surprised by what Bel Ami had to offer. Apart from the fact that there were no individual bathrooms, everything was fantastic. Very clean, extremely welcoming and accommodating owners, free wi-fi, sufficient breakfast served in your room, 1 min from the Metro, 5 min from San Giovanni, 15 min to Colisseum and 30 min to Termini. Well connected with the night bus N1 (for those travellers flying with low costs)
