Bed and Breakfast Basilica Square - Rome

Good experience and would recommend them to others.

Basilica Square is nice hotel and its front of the homonym Basilica. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel also offers a Breakfast and Wifi internet connection. Also have kitchen and hotel allowss access to the kitchen any time. Nearest metro station is 10 min walikng. Taxi stand is 3 min walking from hotel. One of the best hotel to stay in Rome. Good value for money.

I would just recomend this accommodation BB to everyone. Rome is noisy place and that is not a hotel problem, is it? Go for it :)

If you find the place, the stay is amazing. Good value for money and great on the comfort and staff's willingness to help side.

We really enjoyed our stay at Basillica Square. The room we originally booked had an external bathroom, but when we arrived it was upgraded to a room with bathroom facilities inside. The receptionist was very friendly with great english, (but note that the check-in office was a block or so away). The location was great (view of San Giovanni Square), the room was clean, cosy and pretty modern. Breakfast was self serve (just toast and pastries), but this didn't bother us as there are local cafes nearby. For the price and location, this place is great value.

The room was ok. Nice view. Easy to transport from the airport. But the breakfast wasot ok, it was bad. The furniture was very simple.

Llegamos de noche, era imposible encontrar la ubicación ya que la dirección no era la correcta. Logramos encontrarla gracias a un taxista y cuando ingresamos nos acomodaron en un cuarto pequeñisimo con dos camitas juntas y pegadas a la pared, no una matrimonial, y donde no entraban las maletas, al dia siguiente para desayunar debiamos limpiar los restos de comida y basuras dejados por los otros clientes y prepararnos nuestros desayunos. Ante nuestros reclamos nos cambiaron de habitación a un departamento individual y mas amplio.

For the price this is a decent, clean place to stay. The subway and buses are close. Not taking Visa is a pain. The checkin was not easy, several block away wanting cash before we saw the rooms. Breakfast was a joke, package stuff..but there was coffee and a gelato place next door! The AC was a lifesaver! F0r the price I'd stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay in the B&B; we stayed 2 nights and it was perfect. The location is great, only 10min from the Colisseum, shops and restaurants close by. The room was clean and spacious, private bathroom with all required modcons. The breakfast was good and more than enough to eat. I will definitely go back to the same B&B next time I go to Rome.

I was visiting my daughter who is studying for a semester in Rome. The location was great! Right across the street from the Basilica di San Giovanni. The room was a nice size with lots of closet space and a nice bathroom. There was not a flat screen tv as promised in the advertisement and no satellite tv. The door to my room was just a sliding wood door so it was not very quiet when other people would come and go in the hallway. The breakfast consists of juice and milk in the refrigerator in my room with a tray of packaged bread and toast with jam. There was coffee and a coffee machine in the room but it did not look clean. I was not told about a kitchen in which I could have my breakfast. Only some of the staff spoke English and there was very little interaction to see how things were going for me. I was traveling on my own and did not speak Italian very well. Would I stay there again? Probably, but I would ask for a quieter room and a better rate.

Very good location,opposite the church where the pope is the archbishop, walking distance to coloseum and metro line A, good bus connections. Breakfast not served but all food and coffee available at any time to make your own. Highly recommended. Airconditioned for those that need it. Modern and clean.

Very central location, easy to reach with metro. A lot of trafic in front of the house. noisy but not too loud. breakfast okay. no staff serving the breakfast, only self service. very clean and safe. rooms being cleaned every second day. kitchen cleaned every day. friendly staff. good place to stay - I would stay there again. attention: office is not accepting credit cards!

For starters the staff aren't there 24hrs, they leave around 9 so if arriving late like i did its best to let them know. The room was very clean and the bathroom was modern but the noise on the first night was almost unbearable as its right on the piazza but i found that leaving the fan on in the bathroom with the door open solved that problem rather effectively. The bed was an actual double bed & very comfy and the location is excellent, the view was to say the least impressive and it was only five mins walk from the Colosseum without being too touristy which was exactly what i was looking for. I was there with my girlfriend for a week and i would definitely stay there again unless the fan broke!!
