Great location, friendly and helpful owner and staff who speak english very well. Warm welcome (map of Rome and fresh limoncello). Good local knowledge and recommendations. Nice decor (wonderful marble floor) and modern fixtures (flat tv, kettle is a plus). Flexible with checking in/out times to suit flight times. Good choice of continental breakfast. We would stay here if we come to Rome again.

This was a very disappointing experience for us. Room was small, with "pre-historic" equipment (tv, toaster, bar fridge that was not working), very old shower and toilet, using water in this bathroom made all sorts of noises, quite annoying. There was a very poor welcome, breakfast was not fresh (stale bread, old cheese, etc.)and well overpriced for the quality of service provided. There are much better B&B's available in Rome that are better value for money.

Baldassini was an excellent place to stay, really central to all the sites and full of Italian character! The host Fracessco is so welcoming and full of helpful knowledge, without being intrusive. Breakfast is great and helps keep the price down of the stay. Francessco goes out of his way to make the stay enjoyable, he even greeted us with a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate my partners birthday and gave us coffee to take home as a gift. Cant recommend it highly enough if you want a taste of real italy!

Our staying in rome has been wanderful!!!the room was nearby navona's place (3 minutes by feet), was quite silencious considering being in the city historical center. the hotel is situated close to main cultural and entertaining place of rome. breakfast was good and also served into the room. we sincerely suggest this solution to whom would like to spend a very nice time in rome.

The room exceeded our expectations. We did not expect such a large room in Rome, especially in such a central location right by the Pantheon. We were greeted with champagne, had a minifridge and table/chairs in the room, and we were served breakfast in our room every morning. The bathroom was great and there was plenty of space for everything. Francesco, our host, made reservations for us, provided a map of the city and directions where we wanted to go. The only complaint was our room was a little noisy at night because we were above the street, but that is to be expected in Rome. The B&B on a small back street, not a main street, so it definitely could have been much worse.

We had a great experience! Francesco was very nice and spoke excellent English. He showed us how to get places and answered all our questions. Upon arrival we were greeted with a bottle of Proseco and a silver dish of crackers. Our room was spacious and the bathroom clean. Lots of hot water - it NEVER ran cold. The power went out the first night (we blew a fuse) and when we told him the next morning it was fixed when we dropped by later that day. Every morning we had a delicious simple breakfast which included the following: toast rounds, cookies, pound cake, cereal, regular soft bread, yogurt, cold cereal, milk, plate of swiss cheese, butter and jam. He made us cappucinos (did decaf for me) and they were fabulous. You tell him what time and in the morning he knocks on the door and rolls it in on a tray and sets up the table for you. We were provided ear plugs since our room opened onto the street. Lots of wonderful restaurants just around the corner along with the best Gelateria! Very close to the Piazza Navona and Pantheon. We were within walking distance of everything we wanted to see - but we are big walkers and do not ever take the metro or bus. He provided us with complimentary bus passes so we could catch our train at the Termini Station - hauling luggage an exception to walking everywhere. I would definately stay there again our next time in Rome.
