Bed and Breakfast Babri Simintaj - Rome

Very wellcoming owner. the location is quite far from the centre. bus stops in the nearby - but Roman buses are not very fast nor very regular... Good position for coming back in the night in taxi from "movida" places like Trastevere and Testaccio (taxi will cost you about 8/10€ - but beware from fake and dishonest taxi drivers). Near the B&B you will find very good restaurants that will offer you real roman/italian dishes of high quality with very small prices.

Rooms were nice, and clean. Owner was very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was also great. I would definitely recommend this B & B.

Good location with good public transport, with a nice and helpful owner (Mr Oliveri)and nice and warm buffett in the neighbourhood. The only disappointment was that there was no breakfast included in the price although based on the name (bed&breakfast) anyone could think that both are included!I suggest to make it clear on your website otherwise further disappointment would be seen in the future. Apart from this, I offer this accomodation to anyone.

Owner picked us up from the airport;it was a very unpleasant welcome. We had booked two rooms for three nights.The last night the owner had double booked our room so we had to sleep with five in one room; no excuse at all;the owner was rude and didn't treat us as guests at all.Charge for airco is €10 per night."Breakfast" consists of a pre-packed breadroll in a basketin your room.

We are two ladies who spent two nights in Babri. If you are looking for a stay no more than a few days and not in the summer season, you can consider it. But you should keep in mind that there is actually NO BREAKFAST at all, although the owner pretends that there is. Instead you can consider an alternative: For around 3 EUR you can get a nice breakfast at the local latte bars with friendly local people. It is a residential area (which we liked) also meaning that almost no one speeks any language other than Italian. THE OWNER CARES ABOUT NOTHING BUT YOUR MONEY, so no warm welcoming nor information about the area. He immediately asks for money instead and makes you feel like you are not welcome at all. AIRCONDITIONING costs 5 EUR per night and there are mosquitos in the summer time. The cleanliness is o.k. overall if you do not care about two very dirty couches in the room. The toilet is functional and the bed is comfortable. Better skip the kitchen. The neighbourhood appears to be safe and not noisy (especially considering that we were in Rome) - but there were a lot of noise in the next appartement at night (it was probably reserved to a friend of the owner). You have to take metro and bus to the place, so be ware of the service hours and the thieves!

L'accoglienza non è stata delle migliori, conosederato che il gestore già alla consegna delle chiavi ci ha chiesto un congruo acconto e poi ci ha telefonato ogni giorno per il saldo.- Ho trovato il posto molto rumoroso e con poca privacy.- Il giorno della partenza la signora delle pulzie è arrivata alle sette del mattino.- Il bagno è piccolo e non vengono mai cambiati gli asciugamani.- La localizzazione non è ottima perchè lontana dal centro storico.-

We did not care, but the Babri Simin Taj is not located as on the map. And also, the transportation is much easier with bus, than the metro, wich is not close. Take bus 170 from piazza Fermi, 2 minutes away, and it takes you all the way to the centre, or further to the Termini station.

I am so pleased with Babri Simin Taj Bed& Breakfast.Mr.Angelo and Mrs.Simintaj who they are the owners of the apartment were very kindness and hospitable .The location of apartment was excellent near to food marked and Internet coffee-net and interesting places in Rome. We had nice time during our staying in this apartment .Mrs. Simintaj helped us so much. I certainly choice this place if I would like to travel and stay in Rome again

Everything was OK, except for the last day, that we could only leave our baggage at the B&B if we were taken to the airport by the B&B staff -fare 30€-. Otherwise we would have to carry all over Rome our baggage with us, because our flight was at 7:05 PM.

I stumbled on to Babri Simin taj by accident and almost almost made the mistake of booking at a different location when I discovered the difference between the the B&B's pictured and actual locations. Thank goodness, I did not follow through. If one is seeking a location in old Rome (Colosseom or Vatican) this is not the place (the proprietor has other accomodations in those areas). If on the other hand you have transportation or do not mind walking (15 minute walk or 10 minute bus ride north to Trastevere Station, #3 or #8 trolley from there to the attractions), want clean, quiet accomodations in a residential section of Rome (small shops and an open market just down the street; shops - and street vendors - catering to residents instead of tourists along the main avenue) and a staff that treats you like family all at an extremely affordable rate, then this should be our choice. By giving us refuge from the noise, crowds and prices of the tourist areas, Babri Simin taj truly enhanced our stay in Rome.

Very Comfortable and nice place to stay. We stayed there for 3 days. The owner came to the airport ( ryanair airport ) to carry us and our luggage to the accomodation. On the way he also gave us already a short overview over rome, where we can find some nice spots. All in all we would come back to this lovely place. Thanks for a wonderful stay in beautiful rome. :-)
