Shower tap came off in my hand on the first night as I was turning on shower and I got burnt trying to turn it off. This was reported the following day to owner but nothing was done before we left. We did not hear from anybody again. Very poor service and the burn caused me some pain.

We have allways thought that the breakfast is no good. We are used to something else, so a chocolatecroissant inside a plasticcover is not good breakfast. But we just bougt our own stuff for the morning. Nice apartment, little small..sleep in the kitchen... nice athmosphire good cleaning. Hanna

The B&B only has 4 rooms. Our room was Tetti and was very small. Breakfast consisted of wrapped croissant, Melba toasts and instant coffee (in room). We expected a little more quality at 100 euros/night. Too bad because it is well located, at walking distance to the termini, the metro station and the ancient part of Rome.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at ARoma. It was exactly as what was on the internet. We stayed in the quadraple room with a little attached kitchenet. Very nice indeed. The breakfast was basic but we bought stuff from the nearby supermarket and did the bacon and eggs with the cooking oil and pan supplied by the apartment. My teenage children loved the place. Marco picked us up from the airport gave us useful tips on our stay. Beds were comfortable, sheets clean and the room cleaned everyday. Bathroom was tiny but we were OK with that. We thoroughly enjoyed Rome and especially ARoma for making our stay so comfortable. Thank you.

Best value for money I have ever stayed in in Rome. Nothing flash, Aroma has 3 rooms in a building housing other hotel rooms. We stayed in the 'Fountain Room" which is actually a small apartment with double bed plus 2 bunks in a sitting room kitchen. This area is very close to Termini and very local with many budget hotels and small restaurants.

We are a family of four with two girls 21 and 24 år.This is the first time we have been on BB A Roma. Nice place near Termini station. We were lucky to have the suite I Fiori di Roma, because there was a nice terrace where we could enjoy our breakfast, we bought fresh bread at a supermarket nearby. Our girls very much like the Bar on the other side of the street. They met many young people from different places in the world. We would like to recommend this B & B to other

This was our first trip to Italy and it was our third night in Rome after visiting the Ligourian Region. The accommodations were outstanding with a large bedroom, a kitchenette area with an adequately breakfast stocked fridge, and an adequate bathroom. Although only walking distance from the Termini Train Station, the neighborhood was quite reqpectable, and the room(s) were in a residential/hotel type of building. The only drawback was that we had to check where the B & B was in the building......although as it later turned out there were signs indicating its location. Also, it was on the second floor which meant we had to carry our bags up( although we could have used cage like lift)Also, we had a key to main area, but had to wait for the proprietor to arrive with a key. To do that, we had to ask the hotel below to make a call ( They were helpful and obviously had done it before). All in all it was an ideal location, great amenities, good neighborhood, and convenient to the train station. Those factors far outweighed any inconvenience. Also we valued the public area at "5" but this was because there was no real public area in the facility.....just a corridor outside the units. Mature couple

The place seemed very nice on the net, and was even more so in reality - beautifully designed in antique style, and well accessorized. The price was redicioulisly low 44 E(although they change almost daily - a week later it was more than twice as much and fully booked because of a holiday). Marco, the host, was more than welcoming, very helpfull. It is a 7 minuet walk from Termini - main train station, which is very convenient. True, it is not 7 minuets in the direction of the attractions, but that's why it is quite quiet, and still quite close by foot to the center. Will deffinitly return to this place next time we are in Rome.

The B&B is very clean and spacious. The location is near the metro and 20-30 minutes walk from the Coliseum. It is not very quiet and you can hear noises from other rooms (the location itself is very quite) and the bed was not very comfortable (too soft). Overall, very good experience and good price/quality ratio, suitable for young couple.

Very good value for the location. Chiara was very helpful and Marco was nice enough to answer his cell while in Thailand to guide me! You will NOT see a sign from the street! It's in a complex with other B&B's, you'll see a big vertical sign saying "ROMAE". It's a little further from the train station then we thought but take a screen capture in "Google Maps - satellite view of Via Palestro, Rome, Italy" which will help you a lot more then the little map on the website.

The best place I have ever stayed in Rome! The B&B was amazingly priced for such a lovely room - it was large, very comfortable (even the bunk beds were comfortable!), the kitchenette was fantastic for making our own breakfasts, and the staff were very helpful. ARoma is a fantastic find.

I travelled with my parents, we stayed in a triple room. Location of the hotel is great, approx 5 mins from Termini and theres a metro stop less than 3 mins walk. Hotel is surrounded by quite a number of restaurants and bars. My mom was very impressed with decor of the room. Hospitality was good and Marco was particularly welcoming and informative.

It was a pleasure staying in Aroma B&B. The place was comfortable, quiet, well maintained and secure. Marco was a great help in picking us up from the airport and having us dropped back at the airport. The breakfast was a bit austere (buns, jam, juice and yoghurt) but not inadequate. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable. The verandah attached to our room added a sense of space and the four of the family had a very comfortable stay. The location was quite ideal, a seven minute walk from the Termini.

We can not fault aRoma and had a lovely stay in Rome. The room is essentially a small apartment and we slept 2 adults, 1 teenager and 1 baby (in a travel cot that aROMA organised for us). For the price it was an absolute bargain. It is worth noting that this is not like a B& B as such. You meet the owners when you arrive (they can arrange a lift from airport for a reasonable fee). Then you are in your apartment on your own basically. There is a kitchen with fridge, cooker and kettle and dried breakfast things. Flat gets cleaned every day Final note - this is close to Termini and have read notes about safety around there (which locals also warned us about at night). This apartment is near enough to get the convenience of being near the station - however far enough away to feel totally safe. One extra note is the restaurants near were not that great - you may need to travel or uncover a gem in a travel book

Brilliant value. perfect for us as we needed to be near the train station. we only had one afternoon in rome and the host marco was really helpful in recommending travel, places to see, places to eat etc. breakfast was in room, but good coffee and nice croissants. i would definitely stay here again. In recommending this establishment to others i would point out that it is not a B&B by english standards (the host does not live here nor serve you breakfast), i would describe it better as an apartment or room only arrangement.

This is a great location to stay if you are looking for something affordable, clean, and roomy. It was easy to locate near the Termini and there was even a hot plate and a grocery store nearby so we could cook instead of going out. There were restaurants near by and internet/phone cafes. The room was great and very clean and the only noise we heard was from other guests when they were in the hallway outside our door. We did not hear any outside traffic or street noise. I would deffinately stay here again! Thanks!

The Aroma B&B was an excellent value for the location and easy to find (about a 5 block walk)near Rome's main train station. Be aware that it is located on the second floor of a hotel called "ROMA" which seems to be unrelated to the small B&B, the "ARoma", which is on the second floor. The rooms were lovely and clean, the beds firm and comfortable, the bathroom spotless and the shower warm. The self service, in-room breakfast was simple but more than ample. My daughter and I enjoyed it. We also preferred the convenience of eating in our own little kitchette. Marco arrived 5 minutes after our arrival call and was very helpful. He prefers to meet his guests on arrival and likes to know when you can be expected. All the "tips" he gave us were right on target. I was most impressed with the care with which the rooms were decorated. Everything was tasteful and lovely. I'm only sorry that I forgot to take photos of the room, because I have recommended it to several people already. You should be aware that Marco expects to be paid in cash, however,....somehow I missed this little piece of information when I made my reservation. He was very accomodating, though, and accepted payment the next day. He even made it convenient for us to get the cash to him. It was only a minor inconvenience because it was unexpected. Our room would have easily accomodated 2 adults and 2 children or teenagers. I will remember our stay fondly.

Aroma B&B is extremely clean, well kept, and has a warm atmosphere. Each room is stocked with milk, juice, yoghurt, teas, and other treats, and each has its own mini-fridge and TV. The bathroom is small but very clean. Since we were there in March, the weather was beautiful and we could leave our French windows open to let the air in. The B&B is located very conventiently near the Termini (train station) which is an ideal area if you plan to take the subway to sightsee around Rome, or take Eurail to other parts of Italy. Overall, our stay was wonderful and we would absolutely choose to stay there again if we were to return. Marcos D'Innocenti, the owner/manager, is welcoming and helpful; he makes every visitor feel like his personal guest. Prior to our arrival, he was responsive to my numerous e-mails, and once we arrived, he gave us excellent advice about where to eat, what to see, and where to exchange money. We had only two very minor issues: the B&B (like many other hotels in Italy) is located in a building with other hotels and the signs on the front of the building do not clearly show that Aroma is located in it, nor it is it clear which floor it is on. Also, because it shares building space with other hotels, rowdy visitors from another hotel were talking very loudly late one night. Otherwise, our hotel stay was more than satisfactory, and we were entirely happy with it.

Location, location, location....the short walk from the Termini made this a wonderful place to stay. We are a family of 6, so the quad room and a double was a perfect match for our needs. Marco helped us with advise on where to eat, buy groceries, what to see and how to get around. He was right on the mark with his suggestions. It was so nice to return to clean rooms every evening. This Bed and Breakfast was a great choice for our family.

A very good and practical localisation, near the Termini station and metro station by foot. Quiet, clean, spacious rooms and a nice welcoming. Marco is very kind and helpfull. The breakfast is a rather light, but it was not very important for us. Just one detail : it is not specified that the terrasse is only for one room.... The Aroma was great! The style and decor of the room was unique and the best of the places we stayed on our trip. Marco picked us up at the Rome airport and was very helpful in getting us settled. The metro and train station were only a few blocks away. The value for the cost of this place was great. We had a family of 4 in one room and two in another. ARoma is a B and B located a few blocks from the Termini train station in Rome. The B & B is surprisingly quiet, clean, and has GREAT air conditioning for a summer in Rome. The owner, Marco, goes out of his way to accommodate his clients - he will pick you up at the airport (the fee is worth avoiding the train into the city), provide whatever you ask for breakfast (our room had a kitchen) and even provides maps of Rome and suggested itineraries. I whole-heartedly recommend aRoma to anyone staying in Rome!

We are very glad we stayed at aRoma. It was a great location for touring the city, as it is near the main train station and convenient to all kinds of transportation. Marco is charming and committed to making his B&B the best it can be. Our rooms were fantastic and even had a big terrace to drink aperitif that we hadn't expected. Staying at aRoma was a wonderful way to experience Rome for the first time and the room "Flowers of Rome" the most romantic of our travel through Italy. We very much recommend the place it was very nice and cosy, surely we will return and stay the same place when we go to Rome another time.
