A perfect place to stay in Rome. Very clean and nicely decorated. Armonia is only two minutes away from “Republica” metro station, and very close to Termini Train Station. There many good and reasonably priced restaurant around (la cucina on via Nazionale is a good example) Our host, Paola and his staff was extremely polite and helpful. Armonia is located in a very safe and quiet area. If we go to Rome again, we will definitely stay in Armonia. Paolo arranged transfer to and from Fiumicino airport for a much less fare than taxis. Thank you Paolo, I and my wife really appreciated your B&B.

My mothers and my stay at the Armonia All' Opera was wonderful. Paola keep in great contact with me before our trip and answered all my questions...and I had many! He was polite, helpful and very kind. The room was as gorgeous as the photo (and that doesn't usually happen). I had one concern and he took care of that immediately with care and concern. His sister and staff were very pleasant and courteous. It was great for our first stay in Rome...I would recommend this beautiful B&B to anyone and it is very close to the Terminal and to the bus line.

Large room and bath! Updated, clean, and furnishings were lovely. Breakfast fare typical for Italy. Located across from opera house. Walking distance to Coliseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, Spanish Steps, and Trevi Fountain. Neighborhood has little restaurants and shops. Paolo was extremely helpful in giving advice about arrangements for seeing tourist sites, using the subway, etc. He used a computer to look up times, prices, etc., to help us plan our day. So helpful!!!

We had a pleasant stay at Armonia All'Opera. Paolo was an exceptional host. His information on transportation was very helpful to us. Our room (Puccini Room) was humongous by European standards. The bathroom was well appointed. The windows opened which was great one of the cool days we were there, but closed they really shut out street noise. We loved the location. Quick walk to Termini or Republic terminal or the buses on Nationale. Paolo arranged for transportation to the airport and we were picked up in a smart looking Mercedes. Nice touch!

The hotel was as expected except for some bothersome things: 1. the matresses were in poor condition and need changing 2. The price was more than quoted as extras were added on without prior notice (example a fee to stay in Rome which added another 8 Euros per day to the room) 3. The shower was very inconvienent but we were forewarned

Good location, very clean. Poor breakfast even says that is rich. No privacy in room, owner Paolo who was kind, lives just in the next room. The door of the room are not like front door so you can hear everything hapens in B&B and they can hear you. We stayed for 6 days (5 nights). Strange was that there was no heating for all day even was 2 C temperature outside. So it was very cold in room without possibility to heat the room. Heating was ON just at night!!???

Great location for walking to many of the tourist destinations in Rome, as well as for a wide choice of dining and shopping options. Helpful owner, nicely decorated rooms. The 3 bedrooms in this B&B are part of a converted apartment. Our only complaint would be that there is little soundproofing from one room to the other or to the hall, so that it can be a bit noisy at times, depending on when people arrive and how considerate they are. The owner said that he intends to improve on this issue in the coming months, however.

We stayed in 3 different hotels/B&B's while in Italy, all found through Venere. In rome we spent 3 nights here at the Armonia All Opera. The room was spotless, it was the largest room of the 3 properties we stayed in. Yes, it had a tiny shower, but manageable. Breakfast was great, and free wifi. Paolo was super nice and helpful. And we walked to everywhere in Rome from the hotel except the Vatican, where we took the nearby train. Altho explicit instructions given to get there from Termini, just note that all street signs in Italy are on the buildings and are sometimes tough to spot. I'd definitely stay there again!

we chose this b&b due to the good reviews and can only confirm the previus reviews. rooms to the large back yard very quiet at this time of the year, i don`t know about summer when all the airconditions are on. Everything well keep and clean except the shower bowls which would urgently need replacement (very mouldy).breackfast with eggs and fruit and fresh juice would be absolutely the top. paolo was very, very helpful and when visiting rome again we will be back to his place.

This is a GREAT B&B. The rooms are HUGE by european standards, and are as clean, updated, and well kept as the pictures suggest. The only negative to the room was that the shower box in the bathroom was a little small - just enough room to take a shower and nothing else. :) Paulo is an incredible and gracious host. His english is perfect. Every morning he would help us custom tailor our itinerary for the day. He suggested ways we could skip lines and see the best parts of Rome in our limited time. He also recommended great dinner restaurants. They say that you see a person's true character when they are pushed to their limit, and because of a completely random incident with the lock seizing up inside the front door - we saw Paulo (and his family's) true character as he stayed up literally all night long trying to break out of his own B&B. He comp'ed us for the night and put us up in a room at the neighboring hotel, demonstrating poise and class throughout the ordeal. We were very impressed with how he handled it. In spite of this little unexpected adventure - we give this place a 10 and would definitely stay again!

We chose this B&B due to its proximity to the train station & easy walking distance to everything & we were not disappointed. Paulo is great as mentioned in previous reviews. The room was very large & clean for Rome standards. Breakfast was basic but it was nice to visit with the other guests before heading out for the day. A few comments: after breakfast, there are no common areas just your room & if you need to get in touch with the owner you need to call his cell, but all in all we had a good stay.

Paulo, the owner, was very helpful during our stay, organising tickets for the Vatican Museum and Villa Borghese on line etc. Very helpful advice too. The room was not vast (especially the shower..) but sufficient for a pleasant stay. Comfortable bed, at the back so no road noise, and a charming, antiquated lift to get to the 4th floor! Would recommend for those looking for reasonably priced (for Rome!) accommodation, not needing the trappings of a hotel like a bar, public lounge etc.

We stayed at this B&B for 5 days in early October. We highly recommend this place to those who want a quiet, elegant, non-fussy stay in Rome. The B&B - really a large apartment split into 3 separate private rooms each with its own bath - is beautifully furnished. The owner/manager, Paolo, is a wonderful host who was very helpful with travel tips and directions. A continental breakfast is served in the only public room in the apartment and is included in the price of the rooms. There is free wi-fi which is great. Cable TV and air conditioning (ask if it is working. Ours didn't work on our last night there but luckily, it was comfortable without it.) are also available. The B&B is located in a nice quiet neighborhood, across the street from the Opera House. It is very close to bus and metro transportation, restaurants, a grocery store, shopping and a bank ATM at the corner. Keys to the building, apartment and room are provided to you so you can go in and out freely. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return.

Our stay at Armonia All'Opera was a delight. It lived up to the description on Venere and more. We did not realize how truly convenient it is to get to this B&B from the train station until we spent a little time getting to know Rome which is a complex and hectic place. Armonia is located near shopping and restaurants, and also close to transit (bus and metro). The room was very comfortable and well appointed with furnishings of very high quality. It is also quiet, and we slept well which is very important, as we walked for miles every day. Paolo gives his full attention to his guests. We enjoyed talking to him and meeting the other guests. Paolo's itinerary suggestions and help setting up reservations was greatly appreciated. I would recommend this B&B highly and would definitely stay here again.

A great start to our European vacation. My 21 year old daughter and I were thrilled with our room, a great place to arrive at after 20 hours of travel. Paulo was a wonderful host. The rooms were spotless and beautifully furnished (from his family's furniture business). You don't expect to have such beautiful furnishings in a B & B. Location was ideal, it helps if you come out of the front of the train station instead of the side, but it didn't take us long to find the B & B. Only 2 blocks to the metro, buses and the train station. Only thing that could be improved would be the breakfast, a bit of fresh fruit or yogert would be a great addition.

This was an excellent place to stay for our time in Rome. The room was very large, and came with air conditioning (an absolute must in Rome in the summer) and satellite TV. The room and common areas are immaculate. The only negative, and the reason why it does not rate a "10" in spaciousness, was to do with the bathroom, and in particular the shower stall, which is extremely small. I am quite tall, and had difficulty maneuvering. If you are fat, you simply won't fit through the doors. Otherwise, the room and the facility were perfect. In addition, Paolo is a wonderful host, readily available with suggestions for places to visit and tips to avoid lines, but at the same time not overbearing. This is a difficult line to balance, but Paolo does it perfectly. The location is also very convenient, as it is close to Termini station, where both metro lines cross, and is also within walking distance of many attractions (provided you don't mind a 15-20 minute walk). We would absolutely stay here again, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced place to stay in Rome.

We stayed at Armonia All’Opera in early May for 3 nights as part of our 4 week Europe trip. The property is a large residential flat converted into a B&B. It is near the Termini Metro station however in a nice little area which felt safe. It’s a B&B so the manager is only available during the morning. We stayed at the Mozart suite and paid €100 per night. This is definitely one of the best properties we stayed during our Europe trip – we’ve paid more for much less. Breakfast consist of sweet pastry, ham and cheese. The owner, Paolo, was simply amazing. He makes fantastic cappuccinos! Nothing was too much trouble. When we arrived he gave us a map, and a list of attractions with directions to get there. He stayed chatting with us during breakfast, giving us tips on how to get around and answer any questions we had. For example, we asked Paolo the best way to avoid queues at the Vatican Museum: Paolo advised us to see St Peter’s first and visit the Museum at around lunchtime. It was perfect! There were NO QUEUES when we arrived at the Vatican Museum just after 12pm, we walked straight in! We had so much fun chatting with Paolo over breakfast we often get out of the door much later than we planned. Loved: Beautiful décor, large rooms with plenty of storage (large wardrobe and shelves), large bathroom, quiet, location, impeccably clean, the owner, Paolo, simply amazing!! Disliked - Tiny shower despite sizeable bathroom

My wife and I loved the B&B and would stay again. The host bent over backwards for us during our stay. It is an easy walk to the sights of Rome.

Paulo the host was excellent and helpful. The room was very large (we took the suite). This is one large room with chairs, good furniture and a good big comfortable bed; through a door is the bathroom. Some reviews refer to the small bathroom. This is true as the room has a large sink, toilet, bidet and small shower. From reviews of other B&Bs and Hotels this is by no means uncommon and to find a room with a large bath is very expensive. A shower is very good to refresh quickly a couple of times a day as Rome can be very hot. The rooms are just like in the web photos (May 2009) with excellent decor and furniture. My fiancée was very impressed and commented many times. Air conditioning in the suite was very effective too. Breakfast with selection of cakes, breads together with cheese, ham and preserves with coffee (from a real machine made by Paulo). Also mentioned is the lift. This is charming but I checked and it has modern controls and locks so should be fine and it is better than the stairs after a long day walking! The location is very close to the Termini station but the area is very good (South and East of the Termini not recommended at night). The B&B is in an apartment block which is directly opposite the opera. This is a pleasant little square. You can walk to most places from there or take the Metro line A (which is OK) or line B to coliseum (line B is a bit rough). To go to the Metro Line A go to Repubblica that is easier to find and much more pleasant than Termini where you go to line B. NB for Vatican Museums go to Cipro. Rome is very expensive, the food was very disappointing too which is a great shame for Italy where on my other visits to other places has been excellent. It is a real tourist only area. There are plenty of Hotels B&Bs and Restaurants / Cafe. The cafes and restaurants seem mainly to cater for tourists on a “never mind if they don’t come back” basis. The prices are high and the quality low. There are some better places but c

I would stay here again. Room and bathroom was elegant and very clean. Palo was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was continental (but thats all there was in all of Italy). He made great cappucinos. B&B was a great location. Price was a little high but it was cheaper than other hotels on the list. You could hear the other guest talking in the hall and the dining room. THere are only 3 guest rooms which are nice. I would have liked to have a blow dryer, night light, and iron with board. Overall this place was terrific.

It was our first time at the B&B Armonia all'opera but certainly not the last ! We loved our stay, especially the big room (Suite Puccini), the very nice bathroom, the breakfast, the area,... we loved everything about it ! Paolo, the host, was very helpful, kind and gave us lots of good advices. I highly recommend the B&B if you wish a real taste of Italy !

Loved our time spent in the B&B Armonia All'Opera. An enormous apartment on the fourth floor of a palazzo (apartment building) has been beautifully divided into separate rooms, each with it's own bathroom. Our room was very spacious and beautifully decorated. Every morning we ate breakfast with the other guests in the breakfast room, and enjoyed the company of our wonderful host, Paolo. Paolo speaks great English, and was friendly and very helpful. He even went with us down to the train station to help us rent a car! I loved that we had our own set of keys for the building.....made us feel like Romans instead of tourists! The location can't be beat, near the main train terminal. We walked virtually everywhere, and for the rest, took the metro. I highly recommend a stay....I hope to do so again!

This is a wonderful place and the host was very friendly and helpful. The only area for improvement was the breakfast as the bread was rather stale.
