About Bed and Breakfast Armonia All'Opera

lobby Bed and Breakfast Armonia All'Opera lobby Welcome to the Bed and Breakfast Armonia All’Opera.
Situated in the very heart of Rome, our structure is born inside an ancient and noble roman building, near to all of the historical places and the most famous shopping areas of Rome. Perfectly connected, thanks to its proximity to Termini Station (trains for major Italian cities, metro line A and B, taxi and bus), the B & B Armonia All’Opera is the ideal choice for anyone who wants to enjoy the beautiful scenery and the life in the Eternal City. The rooms (equipped with craftsman furniture made in classic style from the Italian Renaissance tradition) are characterized by large and bright rooms, finely decorated and able to meet the needs of any traveler. B & B Armonia All’Opera finds its strengths in elegance and courtesy, in the possibility to reach the most important places in the centre of Rome (Via Nazionale, Via del Corso, Piazza di Spagna, Via Veneto, the Colosseum, the Viminale etc.) even by foot, and proximity to major transport junctions of the city as Termini Station (5 minutes walk) and Leonardo Da Vinci airport (bus service). Licensed by ATP (company for promoting tourism in Rome) the B & B Armonia All’Opera provides its guests with a high level of service, giving them the best of Ancient and Modern Rome in the beautiful setting of the Eternal City.

Room is really nice & clean and its location is quite convenience - 5 mins from termini station. Also the host Paolo is very friendly and breakfast he served was good. I would definately stay there again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this B&B. Paolo was very welcoming and helpful in advising us for our first nights in Rome. Paolo arranged a car to meet us at the airport and the driver was courteous and prompt. The B&B is in a great location, just steps from the Rome Termini.

We stayed at this B&B for 5 days in early October. We highly recommend this place to those who want a quiet, elegant, non-fussy stay in Rome. The B&B - really a large apartment split into 3 separate private rooms each with its own bath - is beautifully furnished. The owner/manager, Paolo, is a wonderful host who was very helpful with travel tips and directions. A continental breakfast is served in the only public room in the apartment and is included in the price of the rooms. There is free wi-fi which is great. Cable TV and air conditioning (ask if it is working. Ours didn't work on our last night there but luckily, it was comfortable without it.) are also available. The B&B is located in a nice quiet neighborhood, across the street from the Opera House. It is very close to bus and metro transportation, restaurants, a grocery store, shopping and a bank ATM at the corner. Keys to the building, apartment and room are provided to you so you can go in and out freely. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return.

Our stay at Armonia All'Opera was a delight. It lived up to the description on Venere and more. We did not realize how truly convenient it is to get to this B&B from the train station until we spent a little time getting to know Rome which is a complex and hectic place. Armonia is located near shopping and restaurants, and also close to transit (bus and metro). The room was very comfortable and well appointed with furnishings of very high quality. It is also quiet, and we slept well which is very important, as we walked for miles every day. Paolo gives his full attention to his guests. We enjoyed talking to him and meeting the other guests. Paolo's itinerary suggestions and help setting up reservations was greatly appreciated. I would recommend this B&B highly and would definitely stay here again.

The location was good and walkable to all our destinations. Paulo was a wonderful host and knowledgeable about transportation and everything Rome. Our room exceeded expectations and was a lovely place to return to after long days of playing tourist. We were in Rome four days and would stay at this B&B again.

We enjoyed our stay at Armonia All'Opera very much. The innkeeper, Paolo, was very nice and offered terrific advice and recommendations. The hotel was very convenient to Termini, the main train and bus station. Breakfast was just okay... not disappointing, but definitely not the reason one would stay there. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay at Armonia All'Opera and would likely stay there again in the future.

the room is very nice, and Paolo, the host is very nice and welcoming as well. the location is very close to the train station but a far from the city center. i was a bit amazed to see that the room is actually a big private apartment that was divided into 3 rooms.

Great and attentive host who would spend time chat with us and give recommendation of our daily tour destination. excellence service and would go beyond service hour based on our need. Very good location as near the metro and main train station. Spacious and very comfortable suite. My toddler girl have plenty of space to roam around in the beautiful room that never fail to amaze her throughout our stay. The breakfast is the same everyday(5 days) and could have more variety. But the dinning room is big and very nicely decorated.

These accommodations are the best value and quality we found in all of Italy. Paolo is a wonderful host, and the apartment is very elegant and well-situated for the trains and subway, and for walking to all the ancient sites. From Paolo and the other guests we gathered very helpful tips on what to see, where to eat and other insights about Rome.

A great start to our European vacation. My 21 year old daughter and I were thrilled with our room, a great place to arrive at after 20 hours of travel. Paulo was a wonderful host. The rooms were spotless and beautifully furnished (from his family's furniture business). You don't expect to have such beautiful furnishings in a B & B. Location was ideal, it helps if you come out of the front of the train station instead of the side, but it didn't take us long to find the B & B. Only 2 blocks to the metro, buses and the train station. Only thing that could be improved would be the breakfast, a bit of fresh fruit or yogert would be a great addition.

Safe, easy, clean, beautiful. I was hesitant about the location near Termini, but it was excellent the room was beautiful and the breakfast the next morning was wonderful. The owner was especially accommodating with breakfast to our early train schedule. I can't imagine staying somewhere else next time I'm in Rome!

Very welcoming B&B. Location is perfect for sightseeing. Room was really nice and clean. The only (yet really minor) thing one could complain about in this B&B was very small elevator (hard to fit the baby trolley in) and small shower corner - somewhat difficult to shower the kids. Everything else was absolutely perfect and I truly recommend this place.

This was an excellent place to stay for our time in Rome. The room was very large, and came with air conditioning (an absolute must in Rome in the summer) and satellite TV. The room and common areas are immaculate. The only negative, and the reason why it does not rate a "10" in spaciousness, was to do with the bathroom, and in particular the shower stall, which is extremely small. I am quite tall, and had difficulty maneuvering. If you are fat, you simply won't fit through the doors. Otherwise, the room and the facility were perfect. In addition, Paolo is a wonderful host, readily available with suggestions for places to visit and tips to avoid lines, but at the same time not overbearing. This is a difficult line to balance, but Paolo does it perfectly. The location is also very convenient, as it is close to Termini station, where both metro lines cross, and is also within walking distance of many attractions (provided you don't mind a 15-20 minute walk). We would absolutely stay here again, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced place to stay in Rome.

We stayed at Armonia All’Opera in early May for 3 nights as part of our 4 week Europe trip. The property is a large residential flat converted into a B&B. It is near the Termini Metro station however in a nice little area which felt safe. It’s a B&B so the manager is only available during the morning. We stayed at the Mozart suite and paid €100 per night. This is definitely one of the best properties we stayed during our Europe trip – we’ve paid more for much less. Breakfast consist of sweet pastry, ham and cheese. The owner, Paolo, was simply amazing. He makes fantastic cappuccinos! Nothing was too much trouble. When we arrived he gave us a map, and a list of attractions with directions to get there. He stayed chatting with us during breakfast, giving us tips on how to get around and answer any questions we had. For example, we asked Paolo the best way to avoid queues at the Vatican Museum: Paolo advised us to see St Peter’s first and visit the Museum at around lunchtime. It was perfect! There were NO QUEUES when we arrived at the Vatican Museum just after 12pm, we walked straight in! We had so much fun chatting with Paolo over breakfast we often get out of the door much later than we planned. Loved: Beautiful décor, large rooms with plenty of storage (large wardrobe and shelves), large bathroom, quiet, location, impeccably clean, the owner, Paolo, simply amazing!! Disliked - Tiny shower despite sizeable bathroom

My wife and I loved the B&B and would stay again. The host bent over backwards for us during our stay. It is an easy walk to the sights of Rome.

Paulo the host was excellent and helpful. The room was very large (we took the suite). This is one large room with chairs, good furniture and a good big comfortable bed; through a door is the bathroom. Some reviews refer to the small bathroom. This is true as the room has a large sink, toilet, bidet and small shower. From reviews of other B&Bs and Hotels this is by no means uncommon and to find a room with a large bath is very expensive. A shower is very good to refresh quickly a couple of times a day as Rome can be very hot. The rooms are just like in the web photos (May 2009) with excellent decor and furniture. My fiancée was very impressed and commented many times. Air conditioning in the suite was very effective too. Breakfast with selection of cakes, breads together with cheese, ham and preserves with coffee (from a real machine made by Paulo). Also mentioned is the lift. This is charming but I checked and it has modern controls and locks so should be fine and it is better than the stairs after a long day walking! The location is very close to the Termini station but the area is very good (South and East of the Termini not recommended at night). The B&B is in an apartment block which is directly opposite the opera. This is a pleasant little square. You can walk to most places from there or take the Metro line A (which is OK) or line B to coliseum (line B is a bit rough). To go to the Metro Line A go to Repubblica that is easier to find and much more pleasant than Termini where you go to line B. NB for Vatican Museums go to Cipro. Rome is very expensive, the food was very disappointing too which is a great shame for Italy where on my other visits to other places has been excellent. It is a real tourist only area. There are plenty of Hotels B&Bs and Restaurants / Cafe. The cafes and restaurants seem mainly to cater for tourists on a “never mind if they don’t come back” basis. The prices are high and the quality low. There are some better places but c

I would stay here again. Room and bathroom was elegant and very clean. Palo was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was continental (but thats all there was in all of Italy). He made great cappucinos. B&B was a great location. Price was a little high but it was cheaper than other hotels on the list. You could hear the other guest talking in the hall and the dining room. THere are only 3 guest rooms which are nice. I would have liked to have a blow dryer, night light, and iron with board. Overall this place was terrific.

It was our first time at the B&B Armonia all'opera but certainly not the last ! We loved our stay, especially the big room (Suite Puccini), the very nice bathroom, the breakfast, the area,... we loved everything about it ! Paolo, the host, was very helpful, kind and gave us lots of good advices. I highly recommend the B&B if you wish a real taste of Italy !

Loved our time spent in the B&B Armonia All'Opera. An enormous apartment on the fourth floor of a palazzo (apartment building) has been beautifully divided into separate rooms, each with it's own bathroom. Our room was very spacious and beautifully decorated. Every morning we ate breakfast with the other guests in the breakfast room, and enjoyed the company of our wonderful host, Paolo. Paolo speaks great English, and was friendly and very helpful. He even went with us down to the train station to help us rent a car! I loved that we had our own set of keys for the building.....made us feel like Romans instead of tourists! The location can't be beat, near the main train terminal. We walked virtually everywhere, and for the rest, took the metro. I highly recommend a stay....I hope to do so again!
