Located in a more up-scale part of town, in a very nice and safe building, the Arca offered a clean and spacious room, with a private bathroom located outside the room. Daniela was welcoming and gave us good instructions to find restaurants and attractions in the city. We stayed one night, but we would definitely go back.

Nice enough place. Out of town, so good for a slower pace of life after the madness of the tourist areas. About a ten minute bus journey to the heart of Rome - Piazza Venizia. The Metro is okay too. Recommend you buy a Roma Pass to save money getting into attractions and especially to dodge the MASSIVE queues at the Colloseum and the Palatine. The showers here are very small and two of the three 'private' bathrooms are in a small room off of the kitchen. Don't expect to see much in the way of employees - you are very much left to get on with things, this is something that suited us just fine. The room was cleaned daily and there is ironing facilities available too. Suggest learning a couple of basic lines of Italian, your efforts will be appreciated. Finally, if you are a light sleeper it might be worth looking elsewhere as it was not the quietest of rooms - Like New York, Rome seems to be a city that never sleeps.
Room Details
L'Arca B&B offers airy, good-sized rooms which still have the original tiles that date back to the early 1900s. Each room is simply, but carefully furnished and includes an orthopaedic bed in wrought iron, LCD TV, Wi-Fi internet connection and heating.Both relaxing and quiet, each room has been finely decorated using warm colours and pastel shades, and the large windows and high ceilings add to the comfortable atmosphere.
Equipped with many modern comforts, each guest room also has its own external private bathroom with shower and hairdryer.
There is the possibility of adding an extra bed in the room, and in order to ensure your smaller children have a good night's sleep, there is also a cot/crib with bedding available.
