Bed and Breakfast Appia - Rome

In my bedroom, the kettle was mouldy... so the breakfast was not perfect... The shared bathroom was nice but the shower was a little bit damaged and the cleaning should be done more often. Except that everything was nice.

The breakfast was almost non-exsistent. For 4 persons we had two crossaints and two sweet cakes. To drink we had 4 small bricks of juice. There were no coffee or the as we were told there would be.

Breakfest too much easy, no TV, no fridge, no kitchen (there is a kitchen, but prepare for accomodation. Price is very high (I compare betweem anothers which we used on this tour) We were 4 elder people.

Price is great my guest house has a kitchen so I cooked everyday.but hasnt internet.

Went with 3 X 13-years old, 2 double bedrooms. Good beds nice rooms, nice baths and utilities. Very friendly host, however this is a do-it-yourself place. And the romans are not very keen on breakfast, you get a fresh croissant every morning hanging on the doorknob. Charming, though. The perfect stay.

We got the worst room in the property which is due to our late arrival I guess..we had to sleep in children's beds and didn't have a private bathroom as we had booked. after complaining about the situation we got transfered into the other b&b (the owner has 2 b&b's ). the room was a bit better but this time the shutter was damaged and we never got to see outside. the owner handed us a key to a shared bathroom in order to give us our "private" bathroom...in this b&b there is one room with private bathroom..this room is quite lovely and if we had been able to stay there the whole trip would have been much better!!

We were in rime for a short city trip and were very welcomed at B&B Appia by the owner. the hostel was very close to the subway and even colosseo by feet. our sleeping room and bathromm was very clean and we felt really comportable.

Negative: 1- There in no air conditioning. 2- The place was quiet, but the owner changed our place after our protest about the absence of Internet connection. The new place (500 meters distance) was so noisy. In fact, one of these two problems remained each time; you should close the window for the noise, and open it for the hot weather. 3- The breakfast was so brief! In fact, it was reduced to only a cake. However, it was delicious. Positive: 1- 20 to 30 minutes for walking to Coloseo. You should visit it. 2- near the subway (metro in Italy!) station, hence near Termini. 3- The owner patiently told us usefull advices about where to go and how to go. 4- High speed (cable) internet connection.
