A warm welcome to Anthony B&B! (Authorization n. 209/OF2, of 20/03/08)
Our guesthouse is situated on the last floor of an elegant and prestigious building dated 1870, in the central area of Rome, just 5 minutes walking from Termini Railway Station, where you can take any public transport to all of the most important touristic destinations. In the neighbourhood you will easily find a marketplace, supermarkets (open 365 days), typically italian restaurants and bars, pub, disco and various elegant shops.
At the same time it offers perfect conditions to take your well-earned rest after visiting the Eternal City: comfort, peace, quiet, relaxed atmosphere and the hospitality of the staff make the place feel like home.

We enjoyed our last night in Rome here. It was a very quiet, modern and clean room. We were served a very delicious breakfast of eggs and all the other usual items. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very close to Termini and several good restaurants. I would definitely recommend this B&B

Safe area to accommondate with child, good travel connections by bus or metro, very friendly staff. Supermarket was around the corner. Staff was great, they search information that we needed from internet for us. We felt very welcome

Excellent breakfast and very clean spacious room and bathroom. Convenient location as far as Termini. Only complaint - difficult to find the hotel- they need a sign outside the building and clear instructions on how to get to the B&B once inside. Right now, there's nothing.

Perfect hostel. When we arrive on the 1st day at 4 sth, the owner prepare some drink and bread for us! So warm! I nvr try it in other hostel in Italy! Ant they can prepare the breakfast and bring it to your room if you do not want to have your breakfast in the breakfast room. (the breakfast room is very tidy and beautiful) I love the foam maker there and the stuff actively said she can help me to buy one in the store. Although the store was closed that day, I can feel the heart of the staff there. It is really a warm hostel.

Anthony B&B is in a very good location, not too far from the train station. My only comment is that in summer, the airconditioning system in the room is very loud. We tried turning off the system and opening the windows at night, and although the B&B is not on a busy road, there is always some traffic during the night, and I found it impossible to sleep well. A new quiet airconditioner in the room would solve the problem nicely, but if noise is not an issue, it is a very nice B&B with good value for the money, a very spacious room, and modern bathroom. However, unless they modernize the airconditioning system, I would not return or recommend staying in the B&B in the summer.

The real issue is that the price doesn't correspond at all with the services provided and facilities. For the same price you can find three star hotels within the block. The place is nice and the owners tried their best, but some things need to be improved. The air conditioner doesn't work properly, the dinning room is rather uncomfortable and the overall cleaning could be better.

I almost didn't give a 10 to public spaces, but only because there aren't really any public spaces. And, I had to exit my room to use our bathroom, although it was private for our use alone (we had the key). There are only two rooms for rent in this converted, large apartment, but the rooms are spacious, it was pretty easy to find, and the location and price were excellent! We were greeted by the friendly owners, and because we had to leave before breakfast the next morning to catch an early train to the airport a continental breakfast (yogurt, nice fruit selection, packaged tart, juices) was waiting in our room when we returned from dinner. I'd recommend this place. Don't expect a lot of stars and you won't be disappointed! Also, the bed was super comfy! And, there is a small elevator (if you're a person who travels with stupidly large bags you might need to make a few trips).

I stay 4 nights and was satisfied by the room space and free internet access. They did not change linen and towel if no request. Soap and shampoo were not new, seemed to be left behind by other guest. Simple breakfast but fried egg was offered once after request made. Located on 5th floor accessible by a small lift, be patient.

Staff, location and service were very good, this is an excellent budget B&B and this needs to be kept in mind when making comparisons. The only negative would be its on the 5th floor and the lift was not always working so perhaps not suitable for everyone.

Great value. Located a short walk from Termini station. Lots of restaurants nearby. Free wifi is a great asset. We really enjoyed our 6 night stay at Bed & Breakfast Anthony. Very warm and friendly staff, we felt like we were staying with friends.

The owner/staff at this small B&B are very friendly and accommodating. I was worried from some other reviews that the neighborhood around the B&B was not very nice but in fact going from the train station to the B&B (easily walked in a few short blocks) is a nice clean area; likely it is the other side of the train station that is the less pleasant area. A number of inexpensive but good restaurants are nearby. The B&B can be a little hard to find (it's on the 5th floor), and had a little trouble checking in to the B&B to start with since nobody was there when we first arrived; would have been more convenient if we had a cellphone since the cellphone # is right on the door. After about 10 minutes waiting, the building manager allowed us to drop off our luggage and told us the owner would be back in an hour. We had a private washroom but it is not attached so we had to go through the hall, however definitely it was the nicest washroom we had in our whole trip.

The room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was very good. The rolls were fresh. They offered yogurt and the coffee and juice were good. The staff was super accomodating and really made you feel at home. Excellent value. If I return, I would stay here in a heartbeat.

Our 3 night stay at B&B Anthony was very comfortable. The room was spacious, extremely clean and organized as well as the private bathroom. Breakfast was more than adequate with Leonarda mothering us. She is a sweet old lady with a golden heart. Location is very convenient. We would repeat staying there anytime. Highly recommended.

My family loved our 4 night stay at the Anthony B and B! We were met promptly by the owner's son upon our late night arrival. The room with ensuite bathroom was extremely clean and the beds comfortable. The neighborhood was very safe and we loved all the eatery options within walking distance from the B and B. What made our stay so wonderful and memorable was Leonarda, a lovely woman who we found incredibly welcoming. She did everything to make us feel at home during our stay. Leonarda suggested the best mode of transportation to all the local sites, where to buy groceries, and a neighborhood restaurant with all homemade, non-processed foods. We would absolutely stay at this B and B again!
United Kingdom, Mar 2009
This accommodation was exactly as advertised. Very friendly and helpful family. The only downside was at breakfast. First morning (only 2 of us) the milk was sour and the rolls were stale but milk was changed when I complained and apologies were made. Second morning 7 were at breakfast and service was good but table too small to accommodate everyone.

The room was spacious but the furniture was only adequate. It is a real crap shoot when you share a bathroom with others and we lost big. The bathroom was flooded and a mess the night we arrived due to other guests. The staff was not prepared to clean until morning. The location near the train station was great. Breakfast was good and so was the staff.

I would recommend this B & B to anyone. Leonarda was such a special lady, and now a friend. The owner and her son were equally wonderful and charming. They made us feel like family. Everyone associated with this B&B is to be commended for doing such a fine job. Go, stay, ENJOY. We will return !

Many thanks to Sra. Leonarda for warm welcoming and assistance throughout our stay! We enjoyed it a lot and felt like home. The place is located in a nice and safe neighbourhood (with embassies and government institutions) and at the same time is just within a 5-minite walking distance from the Termini Station. And if you like walking you may reach almost all main city attractions from there on foot as we did (except the Vatican City, but the direct bus leaves from a bus stop nearby).

My family and I absolutely loved it at Anthony's B&B!! They just recently opened after remodeling and it looks exactly like the pictures. There is some noise issue, especially cars honking, but the apartment it's located in is quiet. The owners speak well enough English for conversation and questions and the place was spotless. The rooms were quiant and perfect for a short vacation. The location is wonderful; it's just a short walk to the train/bus station and tons of stores. The next time we go back to Rome we are definitely staying at this bed and breakfast again.
