This was my first time to visit Rome and Alla Balduina. Mrs. Foci was ever so gracious, friendly and had all kinds of maps and advice for us as to where to go and sites to see in Rome. She really knows all the buslines and their stops. A really friendly place.

We traveled with another couple to B & B Alla Balduina. We found the owner wonderfully accomodating and hospitable. She was also a wealth of information and direction. Rooms were were private and cleaned daily. In the heart of Rome we were able to tour with ease. As soon as we arrived, we felt as if we were staying with family.

The stay was nice and the people in the B&B also. You can also use the means of transportation in a easy way. Only late at night it could be a little bit difficult, because the stop is not near to the B&B and there are not a lot of explanations, but it is not a big question. In general, I can reccomend this place to visit Rome.

As others say, staff offered a kind and warm welcome for us.We will recommend my friends to stay here if they need budget and good accomodation. The only problem is that it is little far from the city center(it also means it is safer to choose this area), but there is enough public transportation service and it did not make sense actually.

The place is hard to find and there are hardly any sign outside. The presentation and facilities are more family-like than professional. As a consequence the contacts with the owners are very personally, hearty and helpfully. If one needs no anonymous, professional atmosphere, it's a great place to stay.
