The pictures look nicer than the rooms but overall it was good. The metro and buses were close by and the restaurent Necci in the street was fantastic. A bit of noise from the street though and during the first two nights we only had a duvet cover to sleep under so I was cold.

This was my first trip to Rome and I had come with my family including my 5 year old son. The host was excellent. She was warm and very welcome. She also understands little english. The best part was her open kitchen where we can cook our own food and she almost has all the items for cooking.

Enrica, the owner, is really a friendly person. The room is very nice, clean, and unique. The bathroom is superb!! It is a little bit far to the city area, but easy access since there's a direct tram, it took you about 15 minutes in normal journey, but not in a peak hour. There's bar and supermarket near the area, which is great.

- A little out of the way but easy access from tram/bus stop a couple blocks away. Follow maps as we got lost trying to find the place and our GPS wasn't working. - Modern, clean, quiet (we had a room facing courtyard)and spacious enough for two with big backpacks. - Very nice courtyard to enjoy your breakfast and a nice glass of wine at the end of the day. - Simple and filling breakfast. - Wireless internet was a huge plus! - Very nice fragrance from the flowers in the courtyard. - Enrica was super friendly and helpful. Big thumbs up for her. - We felt safe and at home here. - GREAT value for the money. Improvments: 1. Mold on the ceiling from moisture in bathroom. Maybe a better fan would help? 2. Could have used some more hooks on the walls and in bathroom for our belongings. 3. We would have appreciated some fresh towels on day two but we ended up using ours for the four days and they were not drying in between uses.

I really enjoyed my stay at the About B&B as it is very clean, stylish and relatively quiet. Enrica, the owner, and her staff are very welcoming and provide you with plenty of printed maps, bus schedules etc. These really helped me a lot! I also liked the location of the b&b which is not located directly in the centre of Rome. It was pretty easy (and fast) to get into the centro storico, trastevere and the Vatican (by bus and tram), however we were delighted to escape the crowded streets at the end of the day. There is a pretty street market in the Via Pigneto and the fabulous Caffeteria/Bar/Restaurant Necci just around the corner. Enjoy a torta with a capuccino and you´ll never stay anywhere else :)

We enjoyed our stay at the B & B because we had the freedom to prepare our meal. The kitchen was small despite being well equipped. Do not really like the bathroom because they had no windows and was damp and musty smell.

Make sure if you arrive late and are taking a taxi from the termini you actually wait for a taxi at the "taxi" spot (kinda looks like a bus stop) people will try and just tell you they are a taxi do not go with them it maybe cost us 10 euros by cab... when we arrived at the B&B I was kind of hesitant because the building is not marked just with an 85 on the building which isn't what you expect especially if you arrive at night. But once we were greeted by the owner (which i forget her name sorry) it was great!! But make sure if you are arriving late at night call them and let her know so she can be there to great you and give you keys.. It is cozy and super clean would recommend it to anyone!! We tried the restaurant right by the B&B which is more for the locals it's cute not much english spoken nor do they have a english menu we would have rather gone back into town and had some yummy traditional italian cuisine...it takes 5 min to walk to the tram which if you take 14 or 5 will take you straight to the termini which from there you can just hop on the metro to any of the monuments which are all within walking distance if you don't mind walking or do the hop on hop off tour which gets you information of all the major landmarks.. Overall amazing stay!!

On arrival on a hot saturday we wondered if we were at the right place shutters down on shops with graffitti noone to let us in as I had arrived early and had forgotten to put fone on global roaming but at night it all comes alive and we realised we had made an excellent choice.Free use of computer and wifi Excellent bar with excellent food 2 blocks down Pizzeria next door supermarket around the corner and an early open coffee shop opposite. After work its a main thoroughfare so very noisy. You can do your own cooking in the well equipped modern kitchen Our room had a mini fridge. Rooms are small and compact but you want for nothing. When in Rome we will use B&B in Rome

Wonderful b&b with lots of privacy located in Pigneto, the bohemian / artsy part of Roma. Rooms were nice but mattress left a little to be desired and there were some small issues with mold / condensation in the bathroom and plumbing, however I would stay again, no question.

Cute and unique was our quadruple room ,clean and quiet but lacking a bit of free space and storage cabinets.Typical midclass surroundings and ease of parking near about. The best part of the accomodation was the backyard , where under a shady tree we had our breakfast and coffe. We used our car and navigator only , to get downtown in August traffic madness of Rome and we survived .So we strongly recomend the combination. If you re not young anymore or you re used in staying in 3-4 stars Hotels ,you might find 'about B n B in Rome 'strange or insufficient. We didn 't.

Enrica, the owner, received us with such a welcoming smile and it and her attitude never changed till the last moment when, unable to find us a taxi, she talked her boy friend into fetching his car and taking us to Termini station in the rush hour (and for free, of course). A great hostess, a beautifully designed and cared for B and B. A little way from the center but worth every minute of it.

We stayed at this B&B for 4 nights and found Enrica to be warm and very welcoming. Our room was very comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. The location was good and trams and buses were just a 5 minute walk away. Since our room faced the road, at times, the occasional vehicle could be heard, but really wasn't much of an issue. The kitchen facilities were great. We would happily return to this B&B and gladly recommend it to anyone wishing to visit Rome.

It's a very nice place. Although the first impression in the front door is not favourable, the apartment is beautiful, the breakfast is good and the help of the host girl with her maps, comments, suggestions, and others things it done of this place a great B&B to stay for a weekend or any more days. I recommend this by their quality which is most better that many expenses hotels of Rome.

We have been there with 2 adults and 2 children and there is enough space for every one. The kitchen can be used any time of the day. We loved the cake of Enrica!

About Bed and Breakfast was great value for the money. Thank goodness they sent us a map because it's a little tricky to find at night. It was easy to catch the tram near the B&B to get into the center of Rome. Although small, the rooms were bright, clean and the beds were super comfortable. Every room had a fridge and you could use the kitchen 24 hours a day. There was also a small library with travel guidebooks and maps. I would definitely stay there again!

What a wonderful place to stay in Rome. It's not exactly "in centro" but that's a small matter. Erica also recommended a superb place for lunch. I will recommend this B&B to all my friends.

I absolutely loved this B&B: I loved the atmosphere and the style of the rooms and kitchen. I can't be absolutely sure, but the surroundings looked safe and nice (although not touristy). Very kind and friendly owner. All good, I will definitely like to return here next time I have to go to Rome :)))

It's a nice place in Roma. The bed is so so comfortable!! The room is designed in a very special and modern way,and it's big.You can cook in a new applied kichen. I cooked for myself everyday. Also you can use Mac computer free,it's in a small garden:) Maybe it is a little far away from the centre, but there is a bus and tram station just 500 metres away. I especially like to take bus 81 .It can take me to the most viewpoint in Rome. And because it is a little far away from the centre, things arround the B&B are cheaper. I lovethis place ,it is quiet, clean, modern and comfortable. The stuff can speak English. And there are many maps and tourist guide books in the room.

Amazing property. Well designed and appointed.Breakfast is "help yourself" and the kitchen is for use by all. Very well equipped. Enrica welcomed us and was so friendly and accomodating. Neighborhood is not touristy at all - freindly typical Roman middle/working class residential. Not far from center, but trams and buses with traffic can take 30-45 min to get into historic center. But great if you want to explore more off the beaten path parts of Rome. Great Pizza place around the corner and coffee bar across the street.

A very nice B&B, manager is very helpful and easy to communicate with. Very clean, modern and definitely very good value for money. Don't get put off by rough exterior, because once you step inside it is all good. If you want to get to city centre it can take about an hour, not because B&B is far but because Rome's public transport links are not excellent and traffic is heavy. So do plan time to move around.
