I rated a 7 for photographs but only because the website i looked at only had one or two photos. The place was nice and clean, very cute. I would like to have known that the cafe at breakfast came from a self serve machine, i dont mind that i just enjoy fresh made cappucinos if possible. It may also help people if you tell them the name of the b&b isnt on a big sign (so many tourists are looking for big signs), let them know its really small name plate, and the building is right next to s. maria maggiore church. I would love to have had the water bottles replenished in the mini fridge each day, but thats because i forget to buy my own sometimes. The people who ran the hotel were wonderful and very helpful with any questions i had. Not many people know this but the church next to the hotel has a large catacombs area that you can make reservations to see, I highly suggest pointing that out to your guests because it is neat and so close to the rooms. Once again i had a wonderful time and I was very impressed with how soft the beds were. Thank you again!

The coffee is not soo bad and breakfast is also better than described in other comments. We suggest to eat at LA BASE on Via Covour open at night also after 1. If you like wine AI TRE SCALINI via Panisperna (corner Serpenti)

We were staying in a classic double room and were quite satisfied with this B&B. Room rates are good, rooms are clean and spacious enough. Most staff were very friendly, helpful, and very accomodating to our late check-in (we arrived around midnight) Only one remark: guests are requested to leave the rooms during the day between 11am and 1pm, so the staff can clean the room. If you plan to stay out late one day and sleep in during your stay in Rome, embrace yourself to meet the very displeased cleaning man.

I have enjoy the travel so much. Le Real De Luxe is a good place to go.It's close to everywhere. You can go to the center by food or you can take a bus or metro. People is really kind and if you have any problem they help you It happens to me. Anyway, if I come back to Rome (sure I'll do), probably I go to Le Real De Luxe:

Very good location and friendly staff who were very welcoming and helpful. Good for train/bus station and also city centre. The Jacuzi shower was not worth getting excited about - do not book the room for this reason but it is a good place to stay for all other reasons when visiting Rome.

The room was very spacious, with a very big and comfortable double bed. Very central to roam around Rome and the heating was day and night on. The breakfast was mediocre and the area was very small but if you wait a little you'll manage to eat. Overall was a very nice BnB and i would recommend it especially to young couples.

We booked at this hotel because of the good ratings on this site but unfortunately the bed was hard as a rock and the shower could have used a little repair and I think the hydro massage was broken but we didn't bother to ask about it. The breakfast wasn't good at all and there was one of those coffee dispensers you'd find in an office building or hospital. This was the first time we've stayed in a B&B so I'm not sure if this was normal.

I really like this B&B. the location i think is the best one (Santa Maria Maggiore, coloseum) and of course Termini stazione centrale is usfull if you dicede to visit other cities. The hotel staff were very welcoming, we have our ouw keys, so there wasn't any need to disturb receptionist. We had a seprior room - i think it's for the couple - shower is amazing as well as lights in the room. I really enjoyed my stay in Le Real De Luxe. More positive emotions than negative. )

The room on the fourth floor was quiet. During the night the rooms are a little bit to cold because the heating does't work during nights. The breakfast is rather spartanic but for the price acceptable. The hotel is very recommandable for someone looking for a quite place to sleep but not looking for luxury. I would book the hotel once more.

We stay 3 nights in Rome. The hotel is very close to the train station, so if you arrive by train you can save your money and take a walk. The hotel is not on a private building (some floors are offices) that wasn´t a problem at all but the main entrance doesn´t have a big sign and it was a little hard to get it.

Accueil chaleureux.

The room was absolutely beautiful, but we were a bit ambivalent about this B&B. The location was excellent, 2 or 3 blocks from Termini, Rome's central station. We found the staff, overall, to be helpful as far as tourist advice on places to eat and see. Breakfast was okay, but didn't have the selection that some other Italian B&Bs have. There were also only 3 tables for the dozen or so rooms at the B&B, so seating was limited. My biggest problem was that once I checked in, the staff told me I needed to pay in cash. Which was really strange since I paid a third of the bill upfront using a credit card, and I knew there was no way I booked a 2 week stay at a B&B that didn't accept credit cards. I rechecked their websites, which said that the B&B accepted credit cards. I found it irritating that in a city where department store employees and signs in all public places warn you about pickpocketing, the B&B expected me to walk around with 800 euro. When checkout came, I said that my bank would not allow a withdrawal that large, and after a minute of insisting, out came the credit card machine. Which confirmed that it wasn't a matter of impossibility, but that the B&B wanted to save a bit of money. There were a few other minor issues. The wifi didn‘t work in our room, so we had to go to a public room to use it. Which isn't the biggest deal, but I was here studying, so it was inconvenient. It may be possible to request a room with wifi, but I'm not sure. And as someone else commented, the shower does seem to have a limited supply of hot water (definitely less than a half hour). Plenty for one person, but back to back hot showers didn’t work well. I'm also not sure how handicap assessable the location is. It is on the 4th floor of an apartment building, and while there is an elevator, it is quite small and there are stairs before it. The shower is also a step up from the rest of the bathroom, so getting in and out could be problematic.

This place has a great price but they add additional charges for EVERYTHING. Air-conditioning, washing towels and sheets-its RIDICULOUS. Also, they don't have a night desk. I was planning to get to town at 5 PM but my train was delayed. I couldn't get into the hotel and needed to find another place with a night desk to get a room. To add salt to the wound, they wouldn't refund me the cost of the night even though I didn't stay with them. Finally, their amenities stink. No one is around after hours to address any issues. Their "jacuzzi" is just a shower that has jets on the side. The mini refrigerator doesn't work at ALL and the internet doesn't work well. I defitelly would not stay here again and there are plenty of hotel around that area that are roughly the same price that are better.

The manager was very welcoming and showed us the locations of all the major sites along with a few recommended restaurants on a map. The rooms were nice and spacious with very good facilities. Breakfast was also nice with a large selection of food with something for everyone. I'd definitely recommend this place if you require a B&B near the train station with easy access to the rest of the city by either bus or underground.

Excellent location (5 minute walk from Rome Termini) and wonderful service. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. Within 2-3 blocks were good restaurants and having the Termini so close made traveling around very convenient. Even though you are on a main street, the noise was minimal. The breakfast could have been better, but there were places close by that were very good.

Le Real De Luxe is the perfect place to spend some wonderful days in Rome! Very well situated near to Termini station and Colosseum and other attractions are also by walking-distance. As it is not a hotel you could feel yourself here as a roman inhabitant :-)It was the best choice and a wonderful holiday! Thank you!

Our stay was excellent. This is a very convenient and good place to stay while in Rome. We had a superior double room with bath. Its closeness to the Termini station, easy walkable access to all the sites, the price, the quality of the room - all were great. Next time we are in Rome, we are sure to stay here.

Be sure to reserve (and pay for) the upgraded rooms! The basic room isn't worth the price by what I could tell, but the upgraded room was very nice. The shower was especially amazing. Overall a great place to stay in Rome with a very convenient location. The road noise was next to nothing... my only real complaint was how noisy it was from the hall (people walking/talking).

After an uncertain start, as the only person present when we arrived was the maid whose English was very poor we found ourselves in a very modern and reasonably spacious apartment with a high standard of furnishings. In all, very comfortable. Although lacking fresh bread rolls or croissants breakfast was reasonable, but perhaps not up to the standard of other B&B's that we stayed in elswhere in Italy. The location was perfect for us, however, as it was only two blocks from Statione Termini and yet within walking distance of most attractions. Overall, good value for money and we would be happy to stay there again.

My wife and I stayed for four nights. We arrived quite late in the evening and were welcomed by a charming young lady who had been specially waiting on for us. Our bedroom was clean and well-decorated; there was plenty of wardrobe space but we could have used a little more drawers or shelf space. The room faced onto an internal courtyard and was quiet at night - a real boon in a noisy city! Comfortable bed, fluffy clean towels, excellent shower. The free-vend coffee machine and the free cold drinks were good. Breakfast was as pretty-well exactly as specified; adequate but not wonderful and we actually brought in our own bread and butter. Overall, we agree with the majority of other reviewers - good location, caring and helpful service and excellent value for money.

Great location, next to termini, so perfect if you getting buses/trains in or out of city. Easy to get short buses over to where most of the tourist sites are clustered. If booking I would contact the hotel directly and negotiate a fare- it's always gonna be cheaper. Overall I was very satisfied with this hotel: it's great value for Rome and I will stay here when I return.

Pleasant and elegant hotel. It is located along the famous Via Cavour, within easy walking distance of Trevi Fountain, "Spanish Steps" and the Colosseum, only minutes away.Lonely planet’s recommendation was the reason we chose lodging at this B & B and my wife and I are so thankful we did. We are both in our 50’s and comfort is a major consideration. The room was nicely decorated, extremely clean and comfortable. The room had nice plasma and cable TV and you can see the news and weather in English which is really all you need.Very modern bathroom with a jacuzzi shower. The breakfasts were great and the fridge was topped up with soft drinks and water every day.. Not enough can be said for the hospitality of the hostess. They had the most beautiful B&B of our trip in Italy

Good B&B for the bed-room quality. Lots of noises on the street but the bed-room windows are well noise filtered. We book a quadruple room and the space is enought event if it is the same space for double rooms. It was ok for my family (2 children less than 11 years old). We stay around one week and the location is ok with the proximity of the termini station.

We were in Rome for two days in early November and were totally satisfied with our stay at 58 Via Cavour. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

Good hotel, although it's not your typical looking hotel. The facilities are located in the 4th floor of a building in Via Cavour. The administrator of the facilities was very helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. My only complaint is that since our room was next to the coffee machine, we could hear every time someone ordered coffee; and it was loud. I'd recommend the rooms in the back, away from the machine. Overall, i'd bypass the noise and stay there again, since it made me feel comfortable.

I had a wonderful time at 58, Via Cavour. The rooms were large, almost completely soundproof, and a short 5 or 10 minute walk to Termini train station. The guy running the place could not have been more enthusiastic and helpful. The neighborhood itself, though not jam-packed with tourist sites, is a nice, laid-back, middle-class (I'm guessing) Roman neighborhood with quite a few decent stores and restaurants to the north and west of the hotel. I can't wait to go back.

Anbefales!

I highly recommend this hotel! It is clean, quiet and comfortable, and it is only a few blocks from the Termini Station! It's not the easiest hotel to find because it doesn't have a bright flashing sign on the door. That's because it's on the 4th floor of an office building. But I liked it because it has a very secure entrance, and it is not a typical hotel. The owner is very kind and helpful and speaks some English. There are only 4 rooms, so make sure you have reservations - and he only takes cash - but it's worth every penny! It made our trip to Rome very enjoyable!

After traveling for so many hours, and unsure of what we were going to find, walking into our room was pure joy. The room was spotless, the bathroom was like in a 5 star hotel. The owners were the greatest...The location is ideal just a couple of blocks from Termini station and all busses. If I go to Rome again, that would be the place to stay....Thank you for including Cavour 58 in your listing. I am one VERY satisfied customer
