We were told we would be met at 12:15 PM. We arrived at that time and pressed the button for B&B4you and no one came to the door so we waited outside for 20 mins, someone came out the door so we went inside into the hallway. Then we went to the B&B4YOU door and rang the bell, still no answer. I then tried to call the cell phone we were given, but our cell phones do not work in Europe, so then I walked all over trying to find a pay phone. The one I found required a credit card which I did not have, I finally found an Interent cafe that had a phone and when I called the cell phone it was busy. I went back to the B&B and someone had met my wife and said that they had been waiting and wanted to know why we did not ring the bell. Maria showed us our room, which we got to by going through what looked like and office/tiny eating area/and kitchen. The room was a small inside room with a bathroom window that opened to open area facing many other apartments and noisy. After Maria left us with the keys to the front door, the office door and our room door we never seen another B&B person for the rest of the stay. There was no one there to pay the money to when we left. The breakfast was a box croissants and if you did not get there early they would be all gone. The coffee was free, but you had to make it yourself, milk, juice, butter and most everything else you had to pay for. The room was clean and the bed was made when came back at night, it was very convenient to the train station and the subway.

The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the Termini Station. There is also a metro stop about 2 minutes away. The room we had was facing a very busy street that had a tram line on it. I would recommend bringing earplugs if you are a light sleeper! The room was neat and the shower was very clean. Overall, it was a good value for the price. Warning: Plan to call the hotel prior to your arrival, otherwise you might be waiting on the street to get in the building - like we did.

We were moved to another B&B which was owned by 4U because they said they had some issues with our room. They said that the other location is just as good and we would receive exactly the same quality and price. However, when we arrived at this new location, it was not the same. The room was very small which was made for a maximum of 2 single beds and we were in 3. Therefore, they add another bed to the room which made it impossible to move around and no room for our luggage. There was no lobby and it was in the basement of an older building. Since we were staying only 3 days in rome, there was no time to look for something else, therefore, we complained and they reduce the price we paid. I would not recommend this B&B.

That was our 1st time in Rome and we spend it very nice. Mauro offered a 2 bedroom flat for us with kitchen and of course bathroom (there was nobody else in that flat). We would definately recommend this place!

Had to wait about 15 minutes for someone to show up. The room was a bit noisy, facing a main street with a tramline and a couple of bus routes, but Rome is a big city, so it is to be expected. Was tired enough to sleep through all noise with earplugs in. Other than that, room was very adequate for my needs, bathroom was also big enough. Staff were friendly, breakfast was not too bad either. Location was good, not too far from train station and the sites. Was able to use internet.

Nice stay.Mauro is a nice guy,Dorina and Maria too.Everything was great. The B&B was very closed to the metro and close to TERMINI STATION (7 MIN WALK).It is also close to Colloseum at about 10 min walk but not so very close to the other locations.

Everything were excellent. Location was great, which was near the Termini Railway station and Metro. The environment was safe, only a little bit noisy. Breakfast was good. We were 3 Asian girls stayed in a room which we thought that it was spacious (compared to other B&B). And it was clean. The owner, Mauro is a perfect guy, funny and helpful. He also gave me a special memory of Rome. ^_^! For me, he becomes an important tourist spot of Rome.I will definitely choose 4you B&B if I go to Rome again.

Room was adjacent to street, so a little noisy in the morning. Air condition worked fine, but a 5 Euro extra charge was paid, because it was not included. Breakfast was nice as well as staff was very friendly and willing to help. Overall experience I can say that it was very good.

Mauro is a nice guy, he tries to make you confortable in Rome, and is very helpful. We had a stay for four nights in th B&B, in a triple room, which was actualy a small double room with an extra bed in it. The bathroom was small, the shower was 70 x 70 cm, so it was very small. Don't expect anything from the breakfast, it's only one croissant and coffee which seems to be made 3 days ago, I gues this is normal in Italy, so I don't bother. The location is perfect for a trip to rome, because everything is within walking distance. The room was clean, the bed was good. We enjoyed the stay.

I have been to Rome just for a touristic trip and I could reach 4you b&b very easily from termini train and bus station. The only problem was reaching the B&B owner because nobody was in there..But he solved the problem in 10 minutes after calling him by phone. I liked everything about 4you. Location was good, I walked and see the most important monuments without using metro. I liked the rooms, breakfast too.. Evrything was better than I had expected. Service of breakfast and the room's quality were like a tree-star hotel. Thaks 4you B&B :)

We stayed there two nights. The b & b is a department with three rooms. The woman who welcomed us doesn't speak english. The photographs published on the internet make de rooms bigger than they really are. It's closed to Termini station (four blocks I think). The room was clean but a little small (we payed for a quad room) and very noisy. There isn't any computers in the room as you can see in the pictures (only one in the public area). If you want the air conditioner you have to pay extra charges. Reading the web page I asking myself where it could be the tennis court and the conventions room!

WE had a very late check in. Our bags went lost and we had to wait long time at the airport before to go to 4you bed and breakfast. Mauro the owner was very nice, when i phoned him to inform about our problem he said to call him back once we have reached the central train station. He came at 2.30 at night with his car to pick up us and in 5 minutes he took us to the 4you bed and breakfast. He gives us all the inforation we needed talking very softly because other guests were sleeping. The 4you bed and breakfast is a great place to stay, in the morning we had a big breakfast, we had the keys so we could go out and come back to the room at any time. Room are clean and location si great, near the station and underground metro station Vittorio Emanuele is 1 minute walking. This underground is ok because goes to spanish staps in few minutes and vatican city in 10 minutes. The city is ok, we could walk everywhere also at night. At the end of our stay Mauro gave us the privilege to go with him on his scooter having a ride throug the center passing by the big amazing monuments, like Colosseum. I will recommend 4you bed and breakfast like the most beautifull bed and breakfast i ever stayed.

It was my first time in a B and B, and i think i was very lucky. I came in Rome one day earlier and when i made a phone call to Mauro (the owner) he came to the station to pick up us (he said that he had just finished tennis training) and he took us to another accomodation because he had not room avalaible on that day. He asked to the reception of the hotel to gave us the same rate of the bed and breakfast and they accepted. We took an appointment for the next day. After breakfast he came at 9 o'clock and very quicly he took us to our beautifull accomodation at 4you bed and breakfast we reserved. He was in a hurry because also that day he had Tennis training, so we had an exiting Roman crazy driving expirience trhough the streets of Rome. We had great time in Rome! The staff of 4you bed and breakfast is very kind. They do not speak english but Mauro the owner speak very good english and can be very helpfull, friendly and funny. Rooms are ok, clean and confortable. Breakfast great. Location good. Internet connection in the room if you travel with your laptop you can connect it. Anyway a pc with internet connection is avalaible in the breakfast area free. I think we were lucky to find Mauro in those days in Rome, sometimes he goes abroad and i can understand that if is not there you can never have that plus!!! But the sfaff is nice and kind as well but ....!!!!

A friend whose opinion I trust recommended this hotel after staying... however I was not so fortunate. After booking early, confirming my reservation a week or so ahead, and on the day off arrival calling ahead in the morning to confirm my arrival time and the like, I was greeted by an envelope on the door buzzer with my name on it saying my reservation had been shifted to another hotel on the opposite side of the tracks due to a "technical issue" with the bathroom... since I didn't book a room with a bathroom I failed to see what the problem really could be. After hot footing it to my new hotel, They manager there had no idea that I was coming... then mentioned some piece of paper he got several weeks earlier advising of my appearence. Suffice to say I got shafted out of all this... To this end, I cannot comment on the quality/cleanliness/security of 4you (The e-survey won't allow me to submit the review without ticking all the check boxes - so have had to put zero for all, however my comments are on service/feedback - I never got in the door to pass any other judgement). I can comment on being stuffed around without even mantaining personal contact. It would have been nice to have been notified earlier (and there was ample opportunity). Fortunatly I was a single male traveler, so could roll with the punches, however, had I had anyone else in tow, I suspect all hell would have broken loose. Approach with caution... even if you have confirmation.

I would certainly recommend using your service. I think that a minor improvement would be for you to explain on your website that accommodation is not necessarily at the B&B4U main residence. This would not be perceived as a drawback.

There was a problem with promised accomodations and owner sent non-english speeking friend to take us to another hotel where they gave us what we needed. They also lowered price for inconvenience. DO NOT STAY HERE!! What we almost got was a nightmare that was waiting to happen!! The picture of the room in the website is totally not right. The room was presented had a purple wall with a bed that was disguisting and the bathroom had to be shared. The view from the window was full of trash and no air circulation. The tiny supposed to be a dinning hall is just a foyer that has 2 picnic tables and chairs. The breakfast supposed to be served here. The surrounding area of 4 You is a China Town in Italy. No shopping area here! Also, it's pretty far to all the monuments. We stayed there for like 10 minutes and we left the disguisting 4 You right away. The guy who answered the door was really angry that he had to wait 1 one hour for us and not staying at their property. NO air-conditioning was to be found. We do not recommend this lodging to anyone except who really doesn't care where they stay.

The accommodation was not the one we reserved. However, they provided us another room near the hotel (7 minutes walking). Mauro is a five star guy, giving all help we need. The breakfast is only provided in the the main building,so we must go there and the dining hall is very small. Although the only regular conditions, the rooms are very clean and the staff very nice. For the price, bed4you is a good choice.

We really enjoyed our stay at "4you" B&B! Mauro, his wife and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The room was priced accordingly (65 Euros) and was clean and efficient for our needs. It was small yet comfortable with a private bathroom. The breakfast each morning (8:30-10am) was sufficient and plentiful. The only negative aspect of our stay was the loud neighbors in another building which affected us for only one night when we had the window opened. This is the perfect place to stay if you're looking for a great location with a reasonable rate. It's good if you're not looking to hang out in your room all day, but just prefer a solid place to sleep and to call home that offers a helpful and courteous staff.

The stay was good value. Friendly, helpful staff, quiet room, we even got a private bathroom although we payed for a room with shared bathroom (I don't even think there are rooms rith shared bathrooms at 4 you) The only slight irritaion was that you had to pay extra for air-condition, the web-page didn't say that. The area close to Termini isn't the nicest in Rome, but 4 you is in the "good end of the street". Over all, we're very pleased with our stay!

Overall a good B&B.The proprietor relet our room to get a better profit margin and moved us to another room. Initially the story given was not true and eventually after some negotiation a discount was given for the inconvenience. The second room was smaller and not as attractive. Breakfast is a croissant and coffee. This is consistent across Rome and other places in Italy. Don't expect much. The coffee was great! We would use the premisies again.

Being delayed by weather and lost luggage, I arrived at 4you B&B late. The young lady, who didn't speak any english, managed to convey that there was plumping problems with the bathroom. She took me to another room down the street, which she called the "apartment". An excellent room, below street level so less noisy (Rome is a very noisy city), approximately 10' by 20' (one of the bigger rooms that I stayed in), with a kitchenette, a small bath, and very clean. Some noisy neighbors next store, but they quieted down when I cried out "dormi!". Excellent location: near a great trattoria pizzeria, Porte Maggiore Gate, and near the tram stop. Just one word of warning: the door is built like Fort Knox. Make sure that you have you key (actually keys) in hand before closing that door. I heartily recommend 4 you B&B. Mauro, the manager, will do everything he can, to help make your stay in Rome a pleasant one.

The actual place was satisfactory for a b&b, but some false advertising took place. Firstly, the advert said 'English speaking', when really only the owner speaks English - who you never get to meet in person; the hostess there speaks NO English - which was a great disappointment as we couldn't get any information out of her. Secondly, the advert said we could pay via credit-card, yet just before we got there, we received an email requesting cash payment! These 2 problems were experienced by other guests whilst we were there, also. Room was small in comparison to other B&B's we stayed at in Italy, but it was good enough, and location is close to train stations. Oh, and I only provided 'cleanliness of rooms' with an rating-8 because the showerhead holder was broken which was annoying (we had to hold it in our hands each time) - but thr rooms were very clean (beds were made for us each day).

We booked 4you B&b because is near the central train station Termini and close to all the sights. As we were arriving from Ciampino airport we asked information to 4you. Mauro sent us a detailed email, explaining us to jump on a bus from the airport to the underground metro station "Anagnina" and from there jump on the underground and get off at "Vittorio Emanuele" station. Once here go to the "Via Carlo Alberto" exit is the nearest to the 4you b&b. By this informations we spent only 3 euro each person. The informations were exellent and we did as they told us to do. No problem to reach 4you b&b. The welcoming was good, the information very exaustive, rooms clean. Internet connection in the room was really great, tv, safety box, towels. The overall quality of this B&B is terrible. We faced seriuos problem when checking into Bed & Breakfast 4 you in Rome. First of all, the check-in process was terrible. There is no people answering the door at the building, and later I found out that my name was posted on the front door of the B&B buiding asking me to call this person at certain number. We called and the person answering the phone asked us to wait for 20 mins. Shortly after that, a woman who can't speak a lot of English telling us to follow her to another place which also belongs to this B&B because there is no room available at the original B&B site. Though we were hesitate to follow her to another unknown place blindly, we still trust her and followed her to another site. She checked us into a two bed rooms with kitchen and handed us the keys and everything looks in place. The "mysterious" owner in the phone called us later and told us that he didn't have the room available at the original site which we can totally understand. But the entire process can be refined so that poor backpackers like us don't have to feel deported to another place after a tiring journey. Second incident that totally spoilt the experience with this stay was the attitude of the owner when we faced problem on the 2nd day. There was literally no water in the apartment while one of my friends was taking shower and we were cooking in the kitchen. We called the owner to get some answer that again he said he will come in 20 minutes. Of course, the 20 minutes wait end up with nothing. He didn't show up, didn't call us back and totally switched off his cell phone. Frustrated with his attitude, we went to the original site next morning and talked to another lady who served us breakfast so far and explained to her the situation. She helped us to call another person and the person said he is the plumber and he will look at the problem. We continued with our itinerary for that day since we don't want to lose any precious time ov

It was very loud in the morning because our room was near the breakfast place and the outside door. Great was the connection to the centre.

Room was small and dim, but clean. What stood out about this place as compared to other places that we stayed in - was that there was unlimited internet access. Not sure if every room had a computer, but my room had one. Downloaded my photos from my camera to my email to free up space in my memory cards. Breakfast was simple, but good enough. The vicinity seems a bit shady at night, but no problem. Book this place for its free internet.

Beware of this place. We booked two rooms (quad and double) and the AC did not work in the quad room and I complained repeatedly for 3 nights. Rome is very hot in summer. The owner had the nerve to state that the AC is actually working. Prior to the final night, after my insistence he switched rooms and the AC in the room was barely ok. The breakfast is meagre, consists of a sweet croissant and coffee. No soap and no phone at the B & B. The internet at the B& B did not work. It was hard reach him and only after repeated phone calls does he answer. Definitely this place is not fit for families.

Enjoyed our stay in Rome. The accommodation was good, though our room was a little noisy. The rooms are basic but clean, the bathroom was small but funtional and had a good shower. It is ideal for people who are used to city noise, and just want a clean place to rest at night.

We will recommend this b&b to our friends as relationship between price and quality is really ok and much better than expected. You know the lamp had no lamp shade which was a little bit irritating at night but the mattress was good, it was very very clean, coffee + cornetto were ok and it was in the middle of a beautiful town for less money - Grazie Roma, Mauro + Lucia and the young lady who didn´t speak any english in the morning!

the b@b is really near Termini, 5 minutes walking, just on the stop of the metro Vittorio Emanuele. The place is in a good building, even if in a chinese shops zone, but it's not a problem, i suppose. The rooms are not large and the breakfst is not rich as a hotel, but if u want a place where not to pay much, a place near the centre and metro i say u to go there. Mauro, the owner is really a nice person

Also keine herkömmliche Bleibe aber sonst tip top!!!

The accomodations are suitable esp since your barely there. The breakfast (fresh croissants and beverage in the morning. Mauro is very nice and helpfull. Only word of advise is make arrangements when your arriving cause there not always there and from the outside looks like a flat and you have to look at the doorbells for the sign of 4You B&B.(could be hard to find the first time.)

Location very convenient to Termini Station and within walking distance of tourist sights. Price reflected quality, ie. room small and public area minimal, but everything was neat, clean and functional. Advertised as internet access in room - there was a PC, but no internet access. Some language difficulty, as proprietor spoke little English. We enjoyed our stay.

We were very pelased with our stay at 4you. The room is small but ok for such a trip when it is only used for sleeping. Rooms actually look better than in the picture, bathroom modern and clean, braekfast is croissants - but not limited - and good choice of hot drinks. The owners very frindly and willing to help.

The couple who manage the place was very nice but they where there only in the morning which was not a problen for us. The area is not too great but the metro is very close, and the room was modest but clean and the bed was comfortable. If you are looking for a place just to sleep, this is excellent for the price.

The air conditioner wasn't working for us & the street noise was too noisey to sleep w/ the window open. It was hot & the air or a fan was necessary. Frustrating!!

No air conditioning was provided despite the fact that AC units are in each room. The service was horrible. The woman who greeted us gave us our keys and left immediately without giving us a contact number or anything. We did not see her again til the end of our stay. If she has been around, perhaps she could have turned on the AC. Overall, a poor, and very hot experience.

Fairly quiet place for being near the train station. Be sure to have a mobile phone to contact the owner to arrange a meeting time. Clean room and bathroom, having the computer in room was a huge bonus. Nice for the price, will consider staying again.

4you is a reasonable bed & breakfast accommodation. If you are looking for a representative hotel you are at the wrong place, but if you like it agreeable and not complicated this is the right place. We had internet included which was very comfortable.

Walking distance to many historical sites and close to terminal and other public transportation. The blue room is not large or fancy, but it is quite. You do not have some of the amenities found in a hotel.

First visit to Rome together with my two sons. We got a fine welcome from Mauro and Penelope and had an agreeable stay. The major drawback is traffic on the Via Napoleone III: rumbling trams, roaring scooters and noisy lorries. Otherwise I wouldn't mind returning.

While the overall value is good there were some things missing from the hotel. Breakfast was usually late. By late I mean it was suppose to be between 8am-10a and usually we wouldn't see it until 9a. There is no phone available. It was impossible to secure a taxi on our departure or to have a contact number for our families at home. We asked for 2 beds in the room and there was only 1 double bed. That was not made clear. You have no toiletries or fresh towels. c

The location is ideal if you are using the transport system, only a few minutes walk from the main train station or subway. It is also very convenient for walking to several main attractions. The facilities were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very fresh and plentiful. The owner and staff were very helpful. We would definitely consider staying there again if we return to Rome.

Very enjoyable stay and quiet in the room facing the back of the building. Lucia and Mauro were so kind and helpful as was Monica. Sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable. Loved having a computer in the room. I wanted to stay at this location the entire stay had a room been available more than one night. A bit hard to find since there is only a small handwritten sign on the buzzer outside. Overall, good value for the money.

This is the first time we have booked a room using the internet. We were pleasantly surprised. All we needed was something cheap, clean and safe to stay and this was perfect. It isn't really a 'hotel' but a converted apartment in a Roman apartment block. There are only four rooms and breafast is taken in the lobby. If you are looking for something with a bar, room service and all the trimmings then I suggest you pay a lot more elsewhere, but if you are looking for something clean, safe and comfortable, intend to spend all day sight seeing, and are happy to eat in one of the numerous cheap but perfectly adequate restauramts between the station and St. Mary Maggiore then this is for you. The shower was good and had a good pressure. The proprietors are a young couple and are really welcoming. Breakfast was fine with two yummy custard croissants and coffee, tea or hot chocolate. It is very close to the station. Don't do what I did, come out of the side door and then get lost! It really is only two blocks away. If you are fit everything is walkable, although St. Peters is about 40 mins away by foot. I have done plenty of world travelling on a budget and this is one of the best I have stayed in for the price. I chose this one because it had so many good reviews. I was not disappointed and if I go to Rome again would stay there again. As for Rome....wonderful!

If you want to stay on budget at your trip to Rome - this is the place for you. Internet connection ih the room can be extremly useful - from the weather updates to tour reservation at villa Borgese. Ask Mauro about local restourants in the university area (behind the Central Railway station). And DON'T YOU DARE to miss mozarella di buffalo as appetizer.

4You was a decent value for the central location in Rome. We could walk to the Colosseum and the main railway station. The was quite small but clean. Sometimes the other guests were noisy having to enter right by our room. The service was congenial though there was an oversight on providing soap and towels one day. Mauro was very helpful, providing some orientation to the area and a good map.

We had a lovely stay. Both a safe and an internet connection were included in the price which was very nice. Unfortunately there was no window in our room but then again who spends their time in Rome looking out the window?

This was a very good place especially forhte price. The hostess was very welcoming and sweet, even made us coffee as soon as we arrived. It's a cute, little bed and breakfast that is near the tourist sites, like the colessum.
