Very welcoming B&B in a nice area, 5 min. walking to Vatican, 15 to center of Rome. Very helpful staff and owner, good breakfast included. Cash only, no cards, so you need to be prepared for that. Would definately recommend to others.

The room is not located at the main street but in a quiet part of the building backside, resulting in no noice from the street. I found the B&B little bit difficult to find: look for a shoe shop, the door on the right is the entrance. Close to the Vatican museum, but book this museum via internet to avoid queing.

Breakfast was well laid out and very tasty. Rooms were immaculate and all newly renovated. Very quiet surroundings and we were able to walk to the Vatican, Trevi and Colosseum. Internet was also available. Roberto was very helpful and if you need to stay in Rome, you will not be disappointed. Best stay in a city we have ever had.

We had some difficulty with langauge and the B&B was often unattended. It was very noisy on two nights with apart below and barking dogs. The staff were fine and the rooms were good.

The 111 Bed & Breakfast is one of the best values you will find in Rome. The quality of the rooms is closer to a 5 star hotel than a B&B. The owner Roberto, and other staff are very helpful and will make you feel welcome at all times.

I had read some horror stories about hotels/b&b's in Rome and I was so DELIGHTED to find B&B 111. Roberto is there to greet you as you arrive. Though he doesn't speak much English, we were still able to communicate through smiles and hand gestures. A warm smile is universal. The rooms were newly renovated, everything was clean. When you arrive, you have to walk through the front building and then into a courtyard to the second set of apartments. This is really nice as your are enclosed away from the road noise and can leave your window open at night with peace and quiet. The location was perfect ... right in the middle of some great shops and we were able to walk to just about everything we wanted to see. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean, safe neighbourhood, very clean building, convenient to visits to St. Peter's Basilica and Vatican Museum. If You don't want to to stay in an endless line with no shade,to visit the Vatican Museum & the Sistine Chapel,do not go in the moring, go arround 2:00 P.M. and start with the Chapel.

I wish I could write not 1 but several reviews for 111 B&B, on the other hand I just want to keep the place to myself for when I visit Rome in the future. First of all, as you meet Roberto, the owner, and the few people working there you already know you are going to have a great time in Rome. Location is excellent: we walked everywhere, making the usual taxi expenditure unnecessary. We did not even need the metro. Rooms are clean, modern quiet and well arranged, and they face a beautiful courtyard shared by other apartments which makes the place especially quiet at night. We have traveled to many European cities and it is very difficult to be able to find this standard of rooms and service unless you are paying for a 5 star boutique hotel. Plus in these places you are not guaranteed a truly welcoming smile! It was especially nice to have our breakfast (espressos, Italian cornettos, yoghourt, muesli and cookies) there and enjoy a few minutes chatting with the rest of the people. Thank you very much for making our stay in Rome a wonderful one.

We had a wonderful stay in the B&B111 which is a very small but nice and familiar hotel. Roberto was very helpful and kind. The location of the hotel is just perfect for tourists to discover Rome by feet. The rooms were really nice and very clean. The breakfast was good and the coffee served just perfect. We really enjoyed the time we spent in our hotel and would return anytime for a holiday in Rome. Thank you!!

Stayed at B & B with friends just after Xmas 2006. We all thought the Rooms were very clean and comfortable, and loved the shower. Location was also very good. Great to be so close to the Vatican so you can visit it first thing in the morning before the crowds arrive. Perfect for a short Rome visit.

Roberto , the owner is a very hospital and gracious owner, but his english is limited. The hotel is newly renovated so it is clean, bright and confortable. However the spaces are small by some european standards and very small by american standards. The location is excellent especially if you like to shop and visit the vatican

Roberto, the owner, will warmly welcome you in this cosy bed & breakfast, located in one of the most pleasant areas of Rome. The house has totally been refurbished last summer, everything is brand new, living room, bedrooms, bathrooms are in a perfect, clean, immaculate state. All in a modern-comfortable decoration. There's internet access available, maps of the city, and Roberto always willing to help for planning the day at breakfast time. This is one of the secret places I always wanted to find in Rome!
