We were in Rome for 3 days and 2 nights. We were very happy with this property. It is centrally located (next to Vatican City) and easy to locate. Giovanni, the host, provided EXCELLENT service, greeting us by email and then personally at the door. He speak English very well. The property is clean, well maintained and up-to-date. Breakfast is self-serve, which we prefer. We felt that we got excellent value for our money and would recommend it for anyone who is does not need to be pampered by having meals prepared for them.

The breakfast is minimal and a kettle would be nice to add to the kitchen. Muesli and yoghurt please? Wireless internet access is a plus. Noisy neighborhood not so pleasant but windows block most noise. Hot water in shower weak.

Giovanni phoned us, send us directions per email. Very friendly. The location is wonderful, between Vatican and Engelsburg, a 5 minute-walk. You can reach everything per foot. Quiet, nice and clean rooms. I guess for the location you just have to pay:-)

simple but homely rooms with the bonus of a self service kitchen. Located in a quiet part of Rome close to the Vatican (5 mins walk)and convenient for strolling into the narrow, characterful streets heading towards piazza Navona. The owner, Giovanni, speaks excellent english and was there to greet us and gave lots of good information during our stay.

Giovanni was extremely welcoming and friendly! He met us as we were walking to the B&B, which made things very easy. Location is EXCELLENT! So close to the Vatican, the Spanish Steps, shopping area, and great restaurants!

We loved our experience at B&B 300. Our single trouble was finding the place as there is no sign outside indicating its location. Otherwise, the location and accommodations were fantastic and Giovanni was spectacularly kind and knowledgeable about the city. His recommendations were spot on and his willingness to be of service went above and beyond expectations. If I return to Rome, I will try to book with B&B 300 again.

Staff is friendly & helpful. The room is clean. It's in a good location to access to many tourist attractions. Slightly overpriced for a room with shared bathroom.

B&B constists of a 4-room appartment, 2 of which have separate bathroom-facilities, one bathroom for the remaining 2 rooms, plus a small kitchen. For breakfast you only get some (sweet) packed food-items which can be stored for months, nothing fresh. Refill did not work, so we had to buy our own juice, partly also milk etc. in the nearby shops. Cleaning service strongly depended on the mood of the lady in charge: "Today I am late and tomorrow I have free, therefore you have to make your beds yourselves", who also became extremely unfriendly after we had dared to tell her our expectations: better be prepared for the worst! In one of our rooms half of the power plugs and light-bulbs did not work which apparently had been known for long already without fixing it. Practical tip: you need cash for payment, and you should call the owner well ahead of your arrival to tell him when you expect to come so that he can welcome you (which worked fine in our case.) Positive: very close to Vatican, many small Restaurants (too many tourists, below average quality) and grocery-stores (good) nearby.

The b&b is located 5 minutes from Vaticano, but at the quiet area.Rooms are specious, clean , window of the street side a little noisy, from the backyard very quiet. Very nice for weekend stay. We have stayed 4 persons at 2 double rooms sharing one bathroom and we can recommend this solution for friends or families. Typical breakfasts served by nice staff. Home atmosphere.

The location was easy to navigate to walk to all areas of Rome, and having a kitchen accessible was a nice feature. We also were in the middle of a great shopping area-a huge indoor farmer's market, internet cafe, and restaurants. The subway was a 5 minute walk. We wanted to be closer to the Pantheon/Spanish Steps area, but the price at BB300 was too good to pass up, and we found that our location was just fine.

This B&B has no reception, so remember to indicate your expected time of arrival (and call them in case of delay to avoid unnecessary waiting). I will gladly recommend this place to other guests and look forward to my return.

An excellent location, with friendly staff. A relaxing place to rest your weary feet after walking the city. Don't forget to take the tel no with you as someone might not be there to let you in and there is no sign on the external door advertising the 300. If you call they do come promptly.

Firstly, the check in time that we had on our paperwork did not correspond to the vendor's - there was 4 hours difference!. Consequently we stood in the pouring rain for nearly an hour and had to make two phone calls in order to be let in. No apology was forthcoming regarding us being left in the rain and getting soaked wet through! The host gave us no information on how and when to pay and was hardly around at all. We subsequently had to wire the funds across once we were back in the UK - which cost us nearly £20 more. The breakfast at the 300 B&B really isn't worth bothering with - except for the coffee. Pre-packed croissants and coco pops are not my idea of a breakfast and I expected much better. The B&B is also very difficult to find as it is not signed at all. Would definitely not stay there again. Would definitely visit Rome again though - it's stunning.

Employees were very friendly but need more knowledge of restaurants in the area - they weren't really able to recommend anything to us. Breakfast was nothing special. Great, quiet location 20 min walking distance from the centro storico and 5 min from the Vatican. Quiet, very clean B&B was excellent value for the money, especially for Rome.
