This bed and breakfast is a fantastic place. The location could not be better, it is near all the things you want to see. You have the place for youself, and you can come and go as you like. The room is away from all the noice, however if you go out on the street there is always people everywhere. You will be asked what time you want your breakfast, you don't have to eat between 8 and 9 if you don't want to. The service is fantastic.

Price far too high for accommodation - breakfast very poor with cornflakes and zwieback - in front of entrance (door at the street) the bells to ring shows no name of b&b! situation of the place would be great - thats what you pay for the room......

The bed was a bit small. And the sounds of the bells (bom-bom) of the nearest church at 8 o'clock were a bit annoying.

This was a wonderful place to stay in Rome! Giovannella was a great host. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect - we were just a short walk from all of the major sites in Rome.

Enjoyed our stay in Rome and found that this property was definitely less expensive than any hotels, and was pleasant enough with quiet refuge from the traffic of the city outside. The tiny elevator and tricky entry gate key were somewhat of a challenge, and one should not come here with too much luggage.

Accommodation in Rome is very expensive and on this basis Campo de' Fiori offers good accommodation, in an excellent central location, at an acceptable price. The breakfast is typically Italian (i.e.disappointing by Northern European standards!) and consisted of a couple of sweetish bread rolls, "continental" toast, jam, yogurt, cereal, and cup of milky coffee, but we had to ask for butter/margarine which was then supplied on the second day of our stay (We were told that only the English eat this sort of breakfast with butter!) Notwithstanding this minor criticism, we enjoyed our stay there. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and the arrangement of accommodation was such that we has a good degree of privacy despite staying in someone's home. The bed and bathroom (shower only) were perfectly acceptable, and there was even a selection of brochures and English books in the room. We would certainly recommend this establishment for someone who wants a degree of creature comforts at a reasonable price, right in the heart of Rome.

Please note...this is a room in someone's flat! You will be escorted through their home to your room. You will NOT have a lock on your room door. Payment is expected upon arrival in cash....not when you leave. You will have a key to get into the building and the flat, so you do not need to bother anyone when coming and going, but may walk into a family affair when coming in. The room is adequate...not as nice as the picture shown here, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is nice on the balcony - unfortunately, they are renovating the building next door, so it was very loud and quite obnoxious eating outside, but would be very nice when complete. The only thing that I would change about the experience is that the towels in the bathroom were quite awful. They were like drying off with sandpaper. Hopefully someone will tell them that they should provide nicer towels in the future. Overall, it was a nice stay for the cost, and the location was fantastic!

The room itself was very nice, good sized and clean- the bathroom was excellent. In a good area, close to everything but not too crazy. A/C was definitely appreciated. Our only complaints were, pretty loud at night (street traffic, birds, etc), also were not allowed use of the terrace during the day. Other than that, highly recommended- a very nice stay.

We had a lovely stay, Signora De Luca was very welcoming and have already recommended this B & B to friends to stay there if visiting Rome on a budget. It was a great insite into life as the Romans live it. We will stay there again on our next visit.

Hostess was very kind and welcoming. We appreciated the lift since the room was on the 4th floor! The location is wonderful and within walking distance of many attractions. The Campo di Fiori square was lots of fun.

I thought my stay was very nice. The room is centrally located to many of the attractions like the fish/fruit/flower market in the Campo and in walking distance of the Pantheon and the Piazza Navona. THe host was accomodating and eager to please. Bed was comfortable and security of the buidling with key access was great. Breakfast was suited to taste and to accomodate guests even very early in the AM (4:00)for an early flight out of Rome. Host even called and help arrange for taxi to get to the airport for an affordable set rate. THe street that the B & B is on is lined with little shops that give visitors great bargains and low prices.

This a great place to stay. Convieniently located close to the Campo di Flori. The B&B is located about 100 yards from the top of the campo. On arriving by taxi, my advice would be to take a taxi from the station to the Campo di Fiori and walk the short distance yourself as the taxi drivers may 'surprisingly' not know where they are going. The B&B is lovely and your hostess is very friendly and imformative. Breakfast was very pleasant on the terrace, even late on in September. The romm was perhaps not as spacious as we thought it would be from the photos, but it was clean and perfectly adequate for our needs. Bed very comfortable. En-suite bathroom was great with a good easily controled shower. The building itself, does look much from the outside, it inside it is full of character with quirky level changes and a handy lift. Will definately use again for my next visit to Rome

We enjoyed our at Campo de´Fiori B&B very much. The owner is very nice and helpful. The room and the apartment itself are nicely decorated and very quiet althouth it is located in a lively street close to Campo de Fiori. The breakfast was served on the nice balcony and was for italian standard quite good as it included juice and yoghurt. We will definitely come back to this place.

A great B & B in an excellent location - so central. Hostess was very welcoming. It's worth noting that the B & B is on the 4th floor of the building. Breakfast was excellent - we dined on a pretty balcony. Would definitely recommend - great value for money.

Excellent location, close to everything. Quiet room dispite location on busy shopping street (narrow and no heavy traffic). Room clean and cosy, but much smaller than appearance on photo, and if you're taller than 180 cm you won't fit into the bed. Kind landlady. Overall very nice stay.

Don't be fooled by the horrible outside door and entry corridor downstairs when you arrive. This bedroom within a personal appartment is clean, well decorated and has a good bathroom. The owners love of the eclectic shows, eating breakfast with silver cutlery surrounded by Art Deco as well as more traditional ornaments. I would definitely return.

Dear Sir, Madam, On the web it was mentioned that the room had an inner courtyard where breakfast could be eaten. In fact it was a small balcony and the owner didn't offer us to have breakfast there. Sometimes there was noice in the appartment above so we couldn't catch sleep. For the rest it was a very comfortable room to stay in, in a very nice area of Rome and with a very kind owner. we had a pleasant stay there. Kind regards, Iris Knapen

Campo de Fiori was an excellent choice for a short stay in Rome. It is really central for all the main sights and for good local restaurants yet so quiet, being on the 4th floor of an apartment block. The accommodation was clean, spacious and homely and Giovanella de Luca, the owner, was most welcoming and helpful - the accommodation is linked to her own apartment, but there is complete freedom of movement. The accommodation does not have great views, but if we had been there later in the year we would have enjoyed taking breakfast on Giovanella's lovely sunny patio area - next time we will....and there certainly will be a next time ! We would recommend it to one and all.

Situated by Campo De Fiori, the location is perfect for visiting all the sites with almost all things within walking distance. Handy for that last nightcap in the old Vineria of Campo De Fiori. The hostess is extremely welcoming, helpful, and speaks very good English. You are made to feel as though the place is your own and the accommodation is very nice. I'd recommend it to anyone and as a frequent visitor to Rome, I'll be going back for sure.

The apartment is beautiful, with warm ambience, very central and within walking distance to most of the major sites. Buzzing location in the evenings meant that all roads led back to Campo d'fiori. Some people might find it uncomfortable being in someone's house, but the owner ensured that we were happy to come and go as we pleased and we only saw her at breakfast. The room isn't huge but beautifully decorated and more than adequate.
