BEWARE! This is Aenea's BED & BREAKFAST, not a hotel with a similar name. I had thoroughly vetted a different hotel with a similar name, and when I found Aenea's with a lower price on a hotel booking site, I unwittingly made a reservation for Aenea's B&B--definitely not the hotel I wanted. I was disappointed when I discovered I had made a non-refundable reservation at the wrong hotel. I definitely did not want to be so near the train station. Sure, the location is certainly convenient, but I didn't go to Rome to be in a blighted neighborhood. And there are nice, big, decent hotels which cost less just a couple blocks away. When I arrived at the Aenea's B&B and saw the crummy neighborhood and the cow scoop on the front door preventing street people from squatting on the stoop, my heart sank. Upstairs, the B&B itself was shabby and dreary. My room was large for a European room, but it was furnished with things seemingly from a second hand store (the bed sagged), and it had a bad smell. I mentioned the stink to the person settling me into my room, and he pretended not to notice. A couple days later, then the odor was even worse, I pointed it out to him, and he pretended not to know what I was talking about. It was that smell that comes from the sewers and up through the drains in the bathroom floor. There is no room safe, and there is no WiFi. The breakfast area was nice enough, but you have to prepare things for yourself. On the table you find a nasty little packaged chocolate pastry and some jam. In the fridge you find some juice, milk, butter and some individually wrapped slices of processed cheese. The instant coffee ran out before I left and was not replenished. I was really disgusted with myself for making such a silly mistake. I will be more careful in the future because I never want to stay at a place like Aena's B&B again.

We arrived earlier than the time for lodging, but was able to leave your luggage. The rooms look exactly like the pictures, it is clean, cleaned every day. For breakfast offer: coffee, tea, milk, juice, fruit yogurt, jams, cheese, butter - enough. Neighborhood looks less "criminal", but to term and has transport links with the city and all sights. The street is a little noisy. We left the reserve, but we were pleasantly surprised. I recommend for low budget trip.

Our stay was very pleasant. The room was small, but we were out all days so it did not really disturb. Breakfast was standard. My wife was buying fruit and muesli for herself but I was totally happy with stuff available (toasts with jam and juice). Considering how little we paid everything was excellent. Let's be honest you cannot pretent to get from Aenea for its price the quality of the classy hotel. I do recomment it!

Great location. Exactly as advertised..right beside Roma Termini station. Room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The person who checked us in was great (Nicoletta?). Nice self-serve breakfast area. Lift to 4th floor worked well (though smelled bad) Negatives: The area beside the station is slummy and overwritten with graffiti. Half of the mattress was very bad (springs had sprung). TV (had very stations that were functioning). Overall, we would definitely go back. After paying tons of Euros for rooms in northern Europe, 70 Euro per night was a steal.

We loved our room at Aenea's B&B! The breakfast was very good in an attractive setting. We did experience difficulty finding the B&B. The directions provided are from the main exit at Termini Station and we unknowingly left from a different exit and became very lost. If you are arriving at Termini, be sure to leave from the main exit and you will have no trouble finding the B&B. Also, some knowledge of Italian would be helpful as the nice lady who let us in did not speak much English, but we all had fun trying to understand each other. Another plus...there is a small elevator to take you to the fourth floor where the B&B is located.

Great room and location. Not big, but clean and neat. Simpel but efficient and sufficient breakfast for those who are there to see a lot of Rome. Near central station (5 min walk from shuttle bus from and to airport) and close to a lot of sites to see.

perfect room, beautiful appartment, very clean. the proximity with the train station makes it however a one night stop only, meaning if you're in Rome for a while, go somewhere else. THe point is that like everywhere else in the world, train station areas are a bit hostile.
