My room was next to the shared bathroom. The door of the bathroom made a lot of noise (the door consisted of two pannels connected by hinges in the middle and had to be plied open and closed) which kept me awake during the night. The free WIFI internet connection was not available at all during the 6 days that I stayed there. Neither my room nor the public spaces were cleaned regularly. In my opinion, the accomodation 'Abruzzese' does not deliver good value for money.

Landlady took us in her car to a very recommendable restaurant nearby with delicious authentic Roman food. A wonderful start! Overall, it was the perfect location as the tramway runs right into the city center, nice bars and some shops in the quarter. Make sure to inform her about yout time of arrival as she does not live in the flat and bring cash. We had guests arriving at 1 AM who obviuosly had not informed her...

Very good place to live. Perhaps, it is far from the center for the pedestrian, but it takes only 20 minutes by 8th tram to get there. Deluxe room vas very comfortable and the whole flat is very beautiful. Owner of the flat was very nice and friendly. THERE IS FREE WIFI!!! The best B&B, that we found in Italy.

I was very comfortable at Abruzzese, the bathroom is very clean, the romm is very luminous and the decoration is nice and wel done The proprietaries are nice people and always help me with informations about the city, or ordinary issues, like how to buy a cell phone, and others. And, of course, the breakfast talking at the kitchen is very nice! Thanks to them to the stay!

There is a number of ancient dolls and other things in the room. Therefore if you travel with young children ask the hostess to take them out in order not to damage them. :-) During our stay there was going on repair works and the hostess boyfriend with a dog lived in the apartment, too.

The B&B was more like an apartment - Danila lived away from the apartment, which made it a little difficult to meet her - but it was never a real problem. The breakfast was pre-packaged pastries and crackers, cereal, milk, and italian coffee. The packaged breakfasts were a little disappointing, but there is a full kitchen there for you to use (which we took advantage of). I stayed at this place for 5 nights because it said there was a clothes washer and a/c - both which were unavailable. It was very hot in Rome those 5 nights. The overall stay was good - it did not dampen our experience in Rome. It is conveniently located for the Tram (which when you learn how to use, is very nice for getting around Rome), and was close to a grocery store.

We enjoyed living among the Romans and it was nice to live in a quiet area. It was easy to take the tram to the center of Rome and it mostly only took 15 min. For the price it was nice, clean and sopacious - I think it was a bargain and I'm sure if we would have brought our kids they would have been welcome. But its not the place to live with very small children.

We thoroughly enjoyed our single room in this two bedroom apartment. The private bath is off a main hall with the private bath for the other room. Kitchen and living rooms are shared with the other occupants. The second room was empty while we were there, so we enjoyed complete privacy. The apartment is furnished in antiques, old musical instruments, and paintings that have been passed down in the owner's family. It is a lovely place, and we simply spent some time enjoying the details of the furnishings. The self serve breakfast worked out fine, including the fixings for cappucino. We had a bit of trouble with the hot water, sometimes there, sometimes not. Our daughter says this is not uncommon in apartments in that part of Rome, but you wouldn't find that in a hotel. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay.

We were pleasantly suprised to find that we were the only ones staying at this bed and breakfast. We had the whole place to ourselves. The location is out of the way, but it is very close to public transportation, which was nice.

This was an outstanding place to stay. It is more like a well furnished apartment than a B&B. The only problem is that the owner does not live at the property, thus you must make arrangements to meet her there prior to your arrival. Should I return to Rome I would stay here again without question. Very convenient to public transportation, resturants, small shops, etc. Complete cooking facilities and laundry.
