Imperial Inn was beautiful and relaxing. Great location to get to all public transportation, but about a 10-15 minute walk from major sites such as the Roman Forums and Colosseum. Directions were easy and Cristina was very helpful in email and in person. Would definitely stay here again!

I was traveling with my mother and 17 month old baby, it was actually our 1st experience staying at a B&B so we didn't really know what to expect. Over all it the room was quite spacious but getting to the room was a bit difficult. The B&B was on the 4thfl of a residential building, the lift very old (think antique!). The breakfast area was VERY small and not so kid friendly, staff (Isabella) appeared to be quite helpful until breakfast time. We were told breakfast started at 6:30-10:00am but for the 3 days we were there she didn't show up till 8:00am and that was unacceptable when you have a jet lagged 17month old baby who wakes up at 5am for breakfast.

Despite being pretty close to Termini, the area was pleasant and not too noisy at all - certainly not from the room. I would certainly recommend this place and will probably return.

We don't have any advice other than to go there and have a good night rest on a good bed with clean sheets, eat a simple but nice breakfast. go out to all kinds of interesting parts of the city that can be reached by walking. if you don't want to do that several bus stops or metro is close by at the Termini station.

I loved this B&B. They haven't been opened long and the rooms had been just remodeled. The attention to detail was excellent, with lots of little extras. Very clean! Nice but typical Italian breakfast. The ladies that run the B&B are very helpful and speak good English. The location was very good as well. Walking distance to everything. Wi-Fi in room was a plus. The price was excellent for such a nice place in such a perfect location. I searched to web for days looking for something reasonable in a good location. I found this by accident and am so glad I did. Easy walk to Termini. The B&B is small; only about 6 rooms. Book early, before they become too well know. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

The location is very good located but was dificult to find the hotel since it is a bb and there is no main entrance or public door. after that and waiting for 10 minutes, finally we got in and since then we thing the choice were the right one. very good situated, close to termini station, self service breakfast, they give us good tips for restaurants and other turistic info. thanks for everything

I am pretty satisfied with the B&B. Everything is clean. It would be even better if they can provide hair dryer. The staff there were very nice in telling us where to visit in Rome and was very willing to help us to call specific museums asking for opening and closing time, since we dont speak Italian. Free water, yogurt and juice all the time.

We enjoyed our stay very much. A very central location to all the highlights of Rome. Although a little compact compared to N. America standards, everything in the B&B was a nice quality and very clean. The breakfasts were a pleasant suprise with a good choice of fruit, cereals, rolls, juices and an automatic coffee/chocolate/capuccino machine to start the day in fine form. I am glad we did a google street search before leaving home, to be able to recognise the B&B street enterance as we arrived in the dark, or we may have lacked confidence to proceed. Access from the Termini Train Station was an easy 5 block walk. Better exterior street ID would help us first timers. The caretaker, Jhun, managed English well and was extremely helpful and accommodating. We do not hesitate reccommending 66 Imperial to our friends.

We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel does take a little finding as it's located on the 4th floor of an apartment block. Don't let this put you off though. The room was large and comfortable, and quiet. Although the air conditioning was very poor (we had 42 degree heat when we were in Rome)this was compensated for by the huge ceiling fan which cooled the room in minutes. Good breakfast with a help yourself style buffet.Overall excellent value for money and the staff were very friendly

We wish we had been able to stay there longer. We had stayed in Rome for 4 nights the week before we went to Greece and then flew back for connecting flight and stayed for a day and night at 66 Imperial Inn Delux. We wished we had stayed there the whole time. Half the price of our other accomodation and twice as good. Very friendly, helpful staff. Room was spacious, quiet and very clean. In a central position to most attractions.

There is a fully renovated room in old building in walking distance (15 mins) from main central sights of Rome. Items for breakfast are provided in the fridge and you make it by yourself. Street parking with money. You pay 10€ extr if you need a baby cot.

I had a wonderful time and I was very impressed with the hotel, particularly the bathroom, which was spotless. The only problem was that the room was very hot. Even though the weather was quite warm, the radiator was on, which made the room a little stuffy. Otherwise excellent.

Lovely room with nice size bathroom. The location is a little difficult to find. Once you find the building they do have an lift -elevator to the floor the bed and breakfast is located on. At the time the receptionist did not speak much English which could be difficult for international guest. The nice part is that the location is close to the train station and to the metro. I would recommend this bed and breakfast because of the cleanness and quietness.

Very welcoming and charming. Very clean and tidy. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Having seen a couple of negative reports on this place I was pleasantly surprised. Good value particularly as you have the free minibar and open access to tea coffee, soft drinks and pastries 24/7. Breakfast fairly basic, croissants, toast, coffee but hey this isnt the Hilton and costwise its as good if not better than a place my friends stayed at which cost 3 times this price. The lift is about 100 years old but it works and is quite charming with an olde worlde "cage" and brass bits. Cant really fault the place for value and its very clean. Book it you wont be disappointed unless you are a natural whiner!

We had the quad room which is very spacious. The hotel is on 4th or 5th floor (I forgot), so if the lift is not working, then its harder to carry your luggage. Decent breakfast in morning. There is some food available all day (cookies, biscuits). There is a coffee/capacuino/espresso/milk/latte/etcetc machine in lobby, operated by your room key. The reception is only available from 9 to 5pm. Good gelato place downstairs and a decent street cafe/restaurant across the street. Walk to termini is about 10mins if you don't have too much luggage. You can also walk to collesum and other places (about 20-30mins of leisure walk). We had Roma pass and used it a lot in buses and metro.

We very much enjoyed our stay at 66 Imperial Inn. The room was one of the deluxe doubles and was large, clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was provided with access to complimentary beverages. Our one rather significant complaint though was that we had booked a pickup at the airport and no one ever showed up, causing us to have to arrange for another way into the city. When we mentioned this upon arrival we pretty much got no response, so we weren't sure what had happened. Also, it should be noted that the inn generally likes to be paid in cash, which is not mentioned on their website. We had to call once we saw some additional postings about this to make sure that they would accept our payment by credit card as we would not be carrying around large sums of cash on our trip. Besides this though our room was quiet and convenient to all sites. We were able to walk to the Colosseum, Forum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, and though it is a stretch, also to the Vatican which we did one day. Overall a very good stay, but would recommend not using the pickup service and would verify with them that they will accept the credit card payment.

The location in relation to Metro and Termini was great. We were able to walk to many sights. The rooms were comfortable. The pictures lead you to believe the place is larger but still it was very nice. The staff were very helpful and spoke English which was helpful. The lift was broken, no fault of B and B. They did offer to carry luggage and even lowered our price per night a little. We really enjoyed our stay in spite of the inconvience of no lift. We would stay there again. Thanks to all the staff for their hospitality.

Pros: Located in the city centre, very close to Termini and within walking distance of many must-visit places in Rome Very clean, reasonably priced and with comfortable rooms. Drinks in the mini-bar and coffee are free. Staff is helpful. Cons: Breakfast could be better. Only sweet things. Staff are not present at the desk at all times.

This Inn has charm and is very well located. It is actually a few rooms on the 4th floor of an apartment buillding. The hallways are painted with scenes, and the rooms are comfortable and well furnished. Breakfast is very basic-coffee, wrapped pastries (none fresh) and cereal. I would recommend this property ONLY to one familiar with Rome-there is noone to answer the phones or help except in the morning! Our flight was cancelled, we tried multiple times to call and notify the property-no answer DONT USE THE NUMBER ON VENERE! They said it was somone's cell who was on vacation! The next day we couldn't find the car they arranged at the airport-same thing-no answer on the phone! (the poor limo driver went twice to the airport not to find us!) On arrival, the employee who greeted us failed to show us how to use the key to access the inn (outer 4th floor door-we were told to "use the big key"-it turns out you need to use the magnet on the left of the doorway-we have never seen such a lock!) We returned late with tired children and could not get in! It took 1 1/2 hours, the manager of another hotel nearby to find the owner, as once again they did not answer the phone!! Needless to say, I was in tears! Exhausted, past midnight, we were awakened at around 630 by the employee starting up the noisy automatic coffee machine as our room was near the breakfast area! (both mornings!) In summary, the rooms are lovely, the location fine, decent price, but only go if you are OK with staying in an apartment like setting with no full-time staff! We would not stay again, as now we have experienced the incompetence of Alitalia and need to be able to communicate with a hotel. Venere-please get a functional contact number for this Inn!!!!

Communication by e-mail was excellent and was told that when we got there we could be helped in any way. However, we only saw an employee a few times as there was NOT someone there around the clock as there was at our other hotels/bed & breakfasts in Italy. We needed to check out the day before as we were leaving on an early morning train the next day and could NOT find anyone at the main desk beginning at 3pm and on. We tried calling which was very difficult because of the lack of English spoken so fortunately my daughter knew some Italian and could speak some. Someone was immediately sent to the desk but it was a "maintenance worker" who said he wasn't sure how to use the credit card machine so we "might" have to pay cash which we "did not" have and were not planning to go back out as we were exhausted and were basically in for the rest of the day and evening and were just going to get ready to leave the next AM. Fortunately, the maintenance worker was able to work the credit card machine. He ran my credit card though through "three times" so I am hoping that I was NOT charged three times. We'll see. It's just funny because I communicated with them directly for a month before I actually left California and always got a response and was reassured that anything we needed would be at the front desk but noone was hardly there at the front desk. Also, ALL of the places we stayed at, even the "Bed & Breakfasts" ALL had an actual computer in the lobby for "free" internet access. This place had no computer available for free use.

Our first experience of arriving at the hotel was less than desireable. We got there at 11 pm and found a locked brown door at number 66. The only indication that we had arrived at the right place was an intercom button. We tried the intercom but there was no reply and after 10 minutes we spoke to the shop owner next door in desparation. He managed to find a bunch of keys and let us through the door. The hotel (B&B) is on the 4th floor. We walked up to the 4th floor in dark and rang the door bell, but no one opened the door, despite 10 minutes of constantly ringing the bell. We tried calling the hotel telephone number but this went to a cellphone recorded message saying the recipient wasn't available. We had almost given up and were about to walk out of the building to find another hotel when we bumped into a couple of guests who told us that after 10 pm, there is no one at reception and gave us a different telephone number to try, but in the mean time the hotel owner who lived one floor above appeared out of nowhere and let us in. The hotel web site should make it clear that the reception is not manned 24 hours and what to do in the event of late arrival. Our room was reasonable size and clean with good air conditioning and nice bathroom. Don't expect much for breakfast. You don't get any fresh bread or croissants - just some pre-packaged stuff. We thought the hotel was over-priced for the service provided, but then again it was our first time in Rome and didn't have anything else to compare to.

Ruhiges angenehmes B+B.

The Inn is well located, within walking distance of most sights (Coloseum, St Maria Maggiore, Trevi Fountain etc) and the Termini is very close at hand. We were very happy with the services offered (Tea/Coffee dispenser, refrigerated juices, yoghurts etc as well as a water dispenser, though disappointed with offerings for breakfast (mostly sweet items. We would have preferred fresh fruit, cheese & crackers or similar, though all of the offerings were available 24hrs/day which was greatly appreciated. Overall our stay was very pleasant and if ever in Rome again we would be very glad to stay there.

My wife and I were very pleased with our stay at 66 Imperial Inn. The staff were very gracious, the room was large with a KING bed and very clean. The location was convenient. The window had a closing that kept out most of the street noise and all the light - important when you need to sleep off jet lag. The cappuchino was great and the breakfast selections were ample; including cereal. We'll book there again on a return trip to Rome.

The room we stayed in was extremely clean, spacious and quiet. We stayed there during March and thought it was a great value - we paid 110 euro for a triple room. The inn is located in an old apartment building and a little far from the major areas, but definiely walkable. We have absolutely no complaints though, considering the price we paid. Will recommend to others.

A great little place to stay if you need to be close to the train station. The rooms were extremely clean, and staff was very friendly and willing to help (gave us maps of the area, told us about restaurants etc). The biggest downside was actually getting to the hotel...its in what looks like a residential apartment building behind big wooden doors (need to use intercom), the once inside, there is another set up doors and then a very old fashioned elevator that is not labeled. That said, once you have reached the hotel, your stay will be enjoyable. Great room, great bathroom, safe in room, minibar (with free bottles of water and juice!) were all an added bonus!
