207 Inn - Rome

Good hotel for Rome. 50 steps from metro station, nice surroundings, local life mixed with Vatican tourist hordes like oil & water. A little more space & less noise would be welcome, but this is Rome standards. Previous hotel costs me twice more (120 euro) for nearly the same service. For breakfast you'll get a 1 croissant, 1 glass of juice & 1 cup of hot drink. If you want to live in hotel -- it's not a good choice. But if you need a clean place to sleep, with metro connection & St.Pietro basilica in 500 meters around -- it's a smart move.

We enjoyed our stay. Was very close to St. Peter and the Vatacian. The metro stop was a block and a half away making it east to get anywhere in Rome. We would stay here again.

Fantastic location! near san pietro, only 5 minutes by feet! and the hotel is 50 meters from the underground station!

I stayed at the Comfort Inn for several days in September, 2007 with my mother and sister. The staff were wonderful, especially Guido who speaks English very well and was most helpful. The rooms were very clean and newly renovated. The street was noisy, but if you closed the shutters, it was okay, and the location was very central -- lots of great restaurants close by and St. Peter's within blocks and the metro right there. We would all definitely stay there again! ...and we loved Rome!!

The hotel was pretty clean and spacious. I stayed in a triple room and there was plenty of room for all. (I had just stayed in another triple in another European city where we were all crowded in the room.) The staff was friendly. A minor problem was that I stayed in a room that was next door to the reception area. It was on the same floor but you had to leave the reception area, then enter another locked door. The person at the reception had to physically unlock this door if you wanted to get to your room. They did not feel put off by having to do this a number of time (in our case-in a span of an hour) but my friends and I felt a little bad. Did not understand why we could not get a key for this door also. Maybe it was a security issue. Knowing whether breakfast was included from reading the venere description of the hotel was also another minor issue. The hotel does not serve breakfast and this was not very clear from the venere description. Overall, my experience of the hotel was very positive.

Semplice, comodo, moderno e con personale giovane e informale. Ottimo per passare qualche giorno a Roma. Vicinissimo alla fermata della metro di Ottaviano (2 isolati) e a soli 5 minuti a piedi dal Vaticano.
