Bed and Breakfast Delfina - Reggio Calabria

The room was actually an 'appartment' 3 blocks away from the Delfina office, where we had to return for the minimal breakfast. The whole place was poorly refurbished, with cheap fittings, most of which didn't work. The complicated 3 door/3 different keys entry system failed while we were unloading, one door jammed and we had to wait an hour with some gear inside and some outside until the owner turned up and forced it open. The staff member on hand was very pleasant, but limited in what she was able to do.

Excellent location, very close to centre of Reggio. Lovely owner who speaks excellent English having lived there for several years. Very helpful and informative, even gave us a lift to the station the next morning. The free internet access is an added bonus. The roof terrace is great and we had a good breakfast up there. The rooms are spacious and comfortable but could do with a bit of an update.

We stayed in Delfina in Reggio Calabria for 15 days. Everything was very good. Steve & Gabriela (staff of B&B) are very hospitable people. Delfina is very close to Duomo and Aragon Castle. And at the same time in 10 minutes from the airport. Steve was very kind to pick us up at airport upon arrival. My wife and me like our stay in Delfina very much.

I didn´t expectected such a nice and warm welcome and stay. The couple and owner of this place are the most friendliest and coolest in calabria! 10+ points! GO THERE IF YOU`RE IN CALABRIA!!! You´ve got a very nice view over the city from the terrace on the roof (and also a shower on the roof in form of a surfboard, very creative!)´, and only 10 minutes to walk from the train-station. It´s near to the castle of reggio, the place is quiot and you can enjoy the panorama to reggio and sicilia.

I absolutely loved my stay here. Steeve was such a great host, he was informative, friendly and made me feel very welcome. The directions I found slightly hard to follow once at the station but basically after asking and turning left onto the main road, I was fine. Prices quoted were for Minimum 2-4people so had to wait til I was there to confirm. Good location, easy to walk to all the great sights. Thank you so much for a great stay, wish it could have been longer.

Steve was a delightful host. Aware of our travel plans, he gave us a lot of useful information about same, verbally and with pamphlets and extra details regarding places of interest in Reggio and Sicily. He recommended a fantastic fish restaurant close by, "Trattoria del Pesce Fresco" which was full of locals. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Delfina had beautiful old furniture and was clean and comfortable. We were made most welcome there. Delfina caters to a discerning clientele. Thank you, Steve.

The only problem i had was not having a bathroom in my room.i get up a lot in the night and this was difficult foe me. overall delfina was very conviently located to trains buses and shopping. the owner was more than helpful with all our needs he even does tours in a 8-10 seater mini bus which was an option .that was one of the things that most attracted me to this place. the experience was great,

The owner of the B&B was very warm and welcoming and had no problem letting us come in early that morning. The B&B is centrally located in the city and is only short walks to the main attractions. The room was spacious and very clean. I would definitely recommend this B&B to others.
