Not only was the view breathtaking, both Roberto and Nada were wonderful hosts. They both took interest in us and helped with our daily excursion planning. The location was perfect with a bus stop right outside the B/B. Great hiking into either Amalfi or Ravello.

Or favorite stop in Italy! Breathtaking in so many ways! Hosts are fluent in English. A/C in rooms. Might note that GPS devices seem to get confused on the curvy roads, but it is worth the drive to go there. Or, just fly into Naples and catch a train. Local buses can get you anywhere you might want to go...but you probably won't want to leave the B&B.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful four days with Roberto at Punta Civita. The location is outstanding. Roberto is a charming, friendly and most helpful host. We used Punta Civita as a base for walking and we felt this was very successful. Just be aware that walking the Amalfi Coast means STEPS! Loads of steps. That said, the steps up to Ravello and down to Atrani/Amalfi from Punta Civita are lit at night so not a problem.

This is a outstanding B&B. Roberto is a excellent Host and runs a excellent operation. His reccommendations were spot on and the services were so personal you felt a good friend was helping you. The closeness to Ravello was a plus and the view from the deck was breathtaking. Leave the tourist towns of the Amalfi Coast and enjoy Roberto and his beautiful home.

Roberto, the owner, was waiting at the gate when we arrived to welcome us and usher us into the parking area. He is charming as is the B & B. Our room had a beautiful large terrace overlooking the Mediterranean. We could not have been happier. The location is between Ravello and Amalfi. It is next to the Sita bus stop so there is easy access to both Ravello and Amalfi. We definitely recommend Punta Civita and would stay there again.

In our 5 weeks travelling in Italy this was one of our favorite places to stay. Our room was spacious (there were three of us) with beautiful garden surroundings and an incredible view of the coast and towns below. The breakfasts are wonderful with Roberto cooking up eggs as well as fruit, yogurt, and great pastry and cappurcino. He was also helpful on tips of the local area. I recommend this beautiful B&B to anyone looking for a special place to stay on the Amalfi Coast, especially away from the touristy areas of Positano and Amalfi. The only difficult thing is find the entrance on the road up to Ravello but this was a minor hassle and can be avoided by getting more precise directions from Roberto online, which I neglected to do.

The property was gorgeous and Roberto's hospitality was extrememly warm. The location is very hard to locate and navigate and we expected kitchen access as implied in the photos. Overall, a great value.

Roberto and his family were wonderful hosts and helped us with any needs we requred, especially Roberto local knowledge of the area. Especially loved the fruit at breakfast out of the garden. The location was beyond our expectations and the view from our bedroom was breathtaking. We enjoyed many walks during our stay made easy by the well marked walking tracks between villages. It was also very convenient having the bus stop right outside. The summer bus timetable was regular and mostly punctual but not sure how it would be during the off season and I know that some of the buses and ferry from Amalfi do not operate. Would definitely recommend to others and will return ourselves if we have the opportunity.

I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone wanting to stay in this area of the Amalfi Coast. The breakfast is rather meagre and I think they should offer fruit or juice and an egg or yogurt at no extra cost.

The property is stunningly beautiful, Roberto is incredibly helpful and welcoming, the rooms are large and well-appointed -- what more could you ask for? The walk to and from Atrani and Amalfi is no problem (actually beautiful and enjoyable) if you're in decent shape and don't mind some stairs.

Punta Civita was a wonderful place to stay. The rooms were very comfortable and the views breathtaking. We were able to undertake some marvellous walks. Roberto was an extremely kind and gracious host and we could not have asked for a more pleasant environment. The property is on the bus route from Amalfi to Ravello and it took us abour 15 minutes to walk down to Amalfi but 30 minutes to climb the stairs back up!

Beautiful accomodation with spectacular view in 3 of the 4 rooms. The only downside is the location...which if you dont mind a LOT of steps down to Amalfi and up to Ravello is not a problem...but otherwise the B and B is a little inconvenient. We did not have a car, and walked or took taxis...which was fine for us, as we like to hike. This was definitely one of the nicest places we stayed on our trip.

My husband and I were very impressed with our stay! Roberto was very helpful and welcoming and he went out of his way to help us with traveling. If you want a quiet unique place to stay I highly recommend Punta Civita. The atmosphere is amazing you are truley in the middle of a vineyard/ lemon orchard. We traveled in Italy for over a month and this was one of our favorite places. Plan on at least 3 days here to relax and enjoy Ravello.

Our stay at Punta Civita was heavenly. Roberto, the owner/manager, was so helpful and friendly. Great location, beautiful view, outstanding breakfasts on the terrace overlooking the sea. It was our favorite stay during our travels along the Amalfi Coast and Sicily. Punta Civita should be included in Karen Brown's book - a perfectly charming B&B!

We hated to LEAVE our host's, Roberto, lovely Punta Civita!!! We could have stayed our whole 2 more weeks right there enjoying ourselves and relaxing. Roberto is a most gracious and friendly host, offering his help for anything needed. It took us 3 tries to actually locate the gate for Punta Civita, but oh, it's soooo well worth it. The views from the balcony are breathtaking! The property was in full bloom with flowers and folage. I just can't say enough wonderful compliments for this place. Indeed, we will plan to come back & next time, we'll want to stay more than 2 nights. We'd like at least a week to just relax, soak up the ambiance, and enjoy Roberto's kind company.

Our stay at Punta Civita was by far the best of our entire visit to the Amalfi. Even though it is located in between Amalfi and Ravello, there is a bus stop at the gate of the B&B. Roberto was very friendly and helpful. The view from the terrace was spectacular. And we were able to have wine shipped from the winery next door. It was my best birthday ever! Overall, Punta Civita is a very welcoming, confortable and relaxing B&B where I would stay at again.

Roberto is the most gracious host you'll find. He can suggest itineraries and give you directions. The property was immaculate, and the rooms are very spacious. We had a car, which was very handy since the property is not in Ravello itself, but is only a few kilometers (a steep climb up) from Amari. There wasn't anything we needed that Roberto didn't quickly respond to. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Roberto and his staff made us feel extremely welcome from the minute we arrived and our stay there was a very pleasant one. The view from the bedrooms and terrace is simply stunning. I thoroughly recommend this property. One thing to note is that it's on the made road between Amalfi and Ravello and so you'll need to know the bus timetable/use taxis.

I can't say enough good things about Punta Civita. A truly special place at an amazing value. We are not normally big fans of B&Bs (we like more privacy), but Roberto was enormously helpful and the accomodations were very private (we were on the lower level). I whole-heartedly recommend Punta Civita.

Great views from the breakfast deck. Room was clean. Breakfast adequate and in line with the type of meal you get around Italy. Roberto was knowledgable and very helpful. Would have liked to be able to make a cup of tea or coffee (kitchen was adjacent to the room but this facilty wasn't available). The B&B is a steep walk down to the nearby village and it's not always convenient to have to go out for a coffee.

The best stay in Italy we have ever had.The hotel is of excellent quality and the hosts treat you like kings! The view from the rooms is a view to die for and beats anything I have ever seen. However you do need a car to get around as the taxis are expensive plus you have to be a good driver as the roads can be a nightmare at times. If you are very fit it takes about 20mins to Amalfi town along the cliff coastal path.In summary will be staying there again

While Punta Civita is a lovely B&B with a very welcoming family, we wanted to stay in the town of Ravello and were effectively between Ravello and Amalfi. Taxis are extremely expensive to get there, so you will have to rely on buses to go up to Ravello or down to Amalfi. So staying there is probably better if you have a car... The view from the terrace is awesome, and breakfast is delicious. Rooms were very pretty, confortable and spotless. the only problem is the location. Also note they don't take credit cards.

Our beautiful room in this converted house had wonderful glass doors and modern shutters that opened onto the breakfast patio, and the views over the Amalfi Coast were stupendous! And Host Roberto did all he could to make us welcome and comfortable. Hightly recommended, with the following proviso: more directions need to be offered on booking, for, despite its address, the house is not in the hilltop village of Ravello, but lower, much closer to the the Amalfi coastal road. And one needs to use a car or bus to get a meal(other than breakfast).

It's a great property- beautifully situated. The breakfast area overlooking the bay is superlative..unbeatable. Two things, though, needed to be pointed out: (1)The property is at Punta Civita and not Ravello. Those taking the bus must point this out to the driver and (2) Roberto, the innkeeper, does not accept credit cards. Neither was mentioned on the web site. Other than that, Ravello is a wonderful change from the hustle and bustle of touristic Amalfi and the albergo itself is a beautiful property with excellent facilities.

On our trip to Rome, Bay of Naples and Amalfi Coast we stayed at 5 'venere' properties. All good but this was definitely the favourite. It was situated on the bus route between Amalfi and Ravello. However as the bus only ran until 22:00 a car would have been useful. However if not Roberto will be able to recommend a couple of good restaurants in the very unspoilt village of Atrani. Beautiful view of the sea and lovely gardens complete with lemon trees. A bottle of local wine could be purchased from the winery over the road and enjoyed on the balcony - a perfect way to start the evening!!

I would definitely recommend a stay at Punta Civita. The owner was very friendly and attentive. The rooms were of good quality and finish, although it is worth noting that only two have a sea view. The lack of sea view from the room did not present a problem since our room opened straight onto a terrace with breathtaking views of the coast. Breakfast was taken on the terrace with wonderful views and the food was good. The B&B is a short drive up the hill from the main coast road. We found this a blessing since it got us away from the traffic and noise. We were also able to take the thirty minute downhill walk into Amalfi and catch the bus back up the hill to the B&B thus avoiding the chronic parking problems. Thanks for a great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Punta Civita. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and the views from the balcony over the Amalfi Coast were breathtaking. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Punta Civita in Ravello. The location was perfect for us - high on a bluff between Amalfi and Ravello. The views of the Mediterranean were spectacular. The B&B itself was wonderful - completely renovated older buildings which were small, intimate, and immaculate. We found the owners - Robert and his family, to be incredibly friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed conversations with Robert over our breakfast when he told us all about the area. We found this B&B to be a fantastic value and would highly recommend it to all.
