Summer Lodge - Pyrgos Psilonerou

Very familiar athmosphere. Lovely place to stay. We only stayed for three nights and thats propably why we had such a small room. It was very convenient, that you could choose each morning if you liked to have your breakfast served and only had to pay what you got. You definitely get good value for your money. It's a place to come back to.

I love it here!!! it was perfect to stay! also to drive around crete it was a nice location! i liked the restaurant near by too the black tavern i think!

The friendlyness and the wonderful simplicity of the traditional furnished rooms. The Summer Lodge has personal greek charme and that"s what I came for. It feels like being a little bit Greek yourself. The best place to eat, directly by the sea is the traditional taverne East of Eden, situated a bit on the right side of the beach in direction of Platinias.

This is a relief in comparison with the beach resorts you see all around. Rooms are in traditional style, very nice. There are nice flowers all around the place. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The bathroom is very small but functional. Cleaning room and change of towel after 3 days. No problem when you know this from the beginning. The Summer Lodge is close to a still quiet beach (pebbles). Also close to Maleme, with taverna's and shops. I would not want to stay in any of the bigger resorts, for me the Summer Lodge is with distinction the best place to stay and to experience W-Crete.

It was just Paradise! I've booked for 3 days, I've stayed for 9 days! The director, Vasilis, was so friendly and really take care of everybody and this every day!

We were very enjoyed when we arrived... but after paiement, we discovered our bedroom with a very very little bathroom (about 1,5 m²). Only at the third day, someone cleaned the room. It isn't possible to have a complete breakfast (only a coffee). Nobody was present for our departure, so we leaved key's room on the door...

I have one nice time with my daughter in this accomodatie

The room was rather damp, the fridge very noisy and the position of the property was disappointing. The breakfast was also rather bland and processed but cheap. On the plus side the staff were pleasant and it was clean. It's good value for those on a tight budget.
