The LIDO DI PROCIDA is the oldest, most fully-equipped tourist bathing structure on the island of Procida.

Founded by Pasquale Schiano in 1954, it is situated upon the most beautiful, popular beach of Procida (CIRACCIELLO), near the tourist port of Marina Chiaiolella.

The beach faces the west slope, and is right in front of the little island of VIVARA, a protected oasis of flora and fauna famous as ancient Myicenaean colony and hunting reserve of Ferdinand IV of Bourbon. Thanks to its position, the beach is always in the sun up until dusk; at which point, from the terrace or the rooms in the LIDO DI PROCIDA you can witness the inimitable sight of the sun setting over the sea. A ball of fire turning the horizon a thousand shades of red.

The LIDO DI PROCIDA offers also a high standard of bathing services, a delightful restaurant where you can taste typical Mediterranean cuisine as well as traditional dishes of Procida, and a snackbar. Often, on a stage looking out over the sea - just like the theatres of Magna Greece did, live theatre shows are held.

There are dinner shows, evenings of music, fun and entertainment. All the areas of the structure, (rooms, restaurant, bathing establishment, toilets and bathrooms, etc.) have an access for disabled people.

How to reach Lido di Procida Bed and Breakfast

By car
From the port of Procida (Marina Grande), take via Libertà, via Vittorio Emanuele, via Giovanni da Procida, Lungomare C. Colombo (distance 3 Km). Please note that from April till October it is forbidden to bring on the island cars registered in the provinces of the region of Campania, except if they belong to disabled people(regularly attested).

By train
From the Central Station in Naples, by taxi, bus, or tram, reach the port of Naples, Molo Beverello,(hydrofoils) or Calata Porta di Massa (ferries), embarkation point to Procida; alternatively, reach Pozzuoli (Port) by taking the underground in Piazza Garibaldi, and then the embarkation point to Procida (ferries).

By airplane
From the airport of Naples Capodichino, reach the port of Naples, Molo Beverello,(hydrofoils) or Calata Porta di Massa (ferries), embarkation point to Procida; alternatively, reach Pozzuoli (Port) by taking the underground in Piazza Garibaldi, and then the embarkation point to Procida (ferries).

By public transportation
From the port of Procida, take the line bus L1(departures every 20 min.), get off at the end of the line (approx. time 15 min.); alternatively, take a taxi or a micro-taxi (approx. time 10 min.).
