4 nights spent in CB Residence in November, 2012. Very correct price, very profeesional welcome. Spacious and simple rooms (minimal decoration, so what?). Perfectly clean bathroom and restroom, impeccable household. Breakfast in the tearoom of opposite was correct. Attention for room 1 : it takes advantage of the passage of all the inhabitants (slightly noisy). The location in the city is perfect

It was suggested by a friend that we stay "over the quiet side" of the Charles Bridge, so this location was ideal. A little noisy until early evening, once the crowds had gone it was fine. Large quad room (but we only had one older daughter with us), clean, tidy, friendly and competent owner, free wifi. We enjoyed the position and our stay here. Breakfast included in room price, but was provided by coffee shop 50m away. Our breakfast voucher was for a cooked meal, but cafe was happy for us to use the "continental" breakfast they had out for guests of another hotel they also serviced instead. Would stay here again.

On the plus side, the room was very spacious, the bathroom very clean and it was right in the center of Prague. Also, it was very quiet. The negative part was that it was terribly hot (30 degrees celsius aprox) and we didn't have either a fan or air conditioning to freshen up the room. Also, we had asked not to have twin beds but one big bed ( as we are a couple) an what they did was put to single beds together, so what happened was that if you tried to sleep on the middle of the bed, the twin beds started to separate. Other than that, it was a nice stay. Also we had to climb 3 flights o stairs to get to get to the room, whith pretty heavy bags. Overall it was a nice stay.

Very nice rooms and well furnished, as described on pictures. The residence is idealy situated near the famous Charles Bridge. All can be done by walk for the visit of centre town and castle. Breakfast are good local cook and quite copious, and are served in a nice breakfast shop 20 m from the residence. Arriving relatively late in Prague, we didn't see our host, but he always was available on phone during our stay for services we asked (taxi for airport). Very good address

Rooms in the back of the hotel were extremely quiet but it is very easy to hear the other guests tromping up and down stairs. Website didn't specify internet access when I booked but on arrival we were told free wi-fi. Didn't really work. In 6 days I was only able to connect twice and only for a few minutes. Location was only 69 paces from Charles Bridge.(yes,I counted) Breakfast at Bohemian Bagel very satisifying. Arranged transport to airport was on time and honest,(520 CZK). Left luggage for several hours after checkout; very convient. Plenty of hot water and good pressure. Staff that met us was friendly and imformative. Very satisfied overall, better wi-fi would have made it perfect.

Great location, great rooms, great service, great price! I returned from a beautiful visit of Prague with my husband. We stayed at Charles Bridge Residence and it was incredible surprise. I cannot imagine better location. It is really almost ON the Charles Bridge so you can walk almost everywhere. We were so warmly welcomed and the stuff was very helpful. Rooms were spotless clean with very comfortable beds and perfect shower. We had room with beautiful view, so we could see the bridge tower on one side and beautiful baroque church on the other side. I’m not sure if we could found better place to stay for this price.

The location is ideal. It is, however, a VERY busy point in a VERY busy city, which means there is noise and there are crowds. But we found the combination of price, location and quality just right for us: a family of four that prefers one room over two at this juncture -- which is hard to find in Europe. And the bathroom was up-to-date and sizable -- which is probably hard to find in Prague at this price.

Our host was helpful but business-like. The location was excellent adjacent to Charles Bridge, which accounted for some late-night street noise. We were offered a "special price" to transport us from the train station, which proved double that of a standard taxi. Breakfast buffet was excellent at the Bagel shop across the street. Overall, highly recommended.

Clean and located in the best place in town by the Charles Bridge at Mala Strana. Nice breakfast at Bohemia Bagel across the street included. Free WiFi. Not indicated for people with mobility problems since there is no elevator and rooms are deployed in four levels. Perfect quality/price rate.

Perfect location for exploring the city. The Hotel is small, has no elevator, doesn't serve breakfast itself, but you get a voucher for the "Boheamian Bagel" next door which is really good. The place has no reception, but Michal, who runs the place, will be there to give you a warm welcome plus all the information you nedd plus his mobil number in case you have any more questions. Highly recommended.

The hotel is located just steps away from Charles Bridge - couldn't be better situated. The noice level was high during the day but fine at night (we had a room at the front of the hotel). The view from our room was well worth the noise! Room size was much better than we've found other locations in Europe. Our host, Michal Musil, does an excellent job arranging transportation to and from airport/train station. Highly recommend the Hotel Charles Bridge Residence!

A recommander.

From my internet investigation I had not understood Ch. Bridge Resid. is not a hotel. It is a house with 7 rooms. Two that I saw are very large and clean rooms with large and brand new bathrooms. There are no employees and no desk keeper. The boss when you can meet him is extremely helpful.

The residence is situated a few steps from The Charles Bridge, on Mala Strana. If we ever visit Praha again, we will like to stay at the hotel. We recommend it, but please be aware that there is no lift in the building. A nice breakfast is served in a small cafe just across the street. (at "Bohemia bagels")

This is more a B&B than a hotel. Good points: Excellent location, quite wide and clean rooms, correct breakfast. Bad points: there is no lift, airport transfer is quite expensive, only one plug in the bathroom, few satellite TV channels.

Location is excellent. Room was really nice - there is some noise from the street (an this might be a problem in summer months) but I did not mind and I myself asked for the room on the street side so I could enjoy the view and the feel of the Prague downtown, besides I guess there are also rooms there that look onto the backyard, not the street. These is a residence , not a hotel, so do not expect any extra facilities, but the room I had was spacious, clean and comfortable. The lunch was served in the cafe just across the street and they even had internet access up there. Overall I enjoyed my stay at the Charles Bridge Residence.

Without a doubt, the Charles Bridge Residence is in an excellent location for walking everywhere of interest. The rooms are very large and clean, and Michal is just a call away if you need anything. The breakfast is in a restaurant opposite the hotel, and is very substancial. There is not a lift in this hotel, so those with walking difficulties should request a room on the lower floor. We definately enjoyed our stay at the Charles Bridge and would recommend it, mostly for the excellent location!

Location, Location, Location. let me say that again... location, location, location. You can easily walk to everywhere you want to go. Our rooms were tremendously spacious with comfortable bedding. The breakfast arrangements are provided by a restaurant next door providing a full range of breakfast options all included in the rooms price. This hotel easily rated as one of the best values on our trip. (A note for seniors there is no elevator service to your room.)

We only met the Manager, Michal, who was most helpful in every regard, and the cleaners. Breakfast provided at Bohemia Bagel nearby was adequate if not inspiring. We were not aware of any public areas hence rating of 0. We would highly recommend this property for position, comfortable accommodation, rooms serviced daily, readily available information on tours etc and Michal, the property manager could not have been more helpful or courteous. He arranged transfers when required, pick up for a tour to Cezky Krumlov and readily provided any other information required. As a friendly city, full of interest and experiences to be had, Prague was just wonderful. Its grand buildings and position on the Vltivar river added to its charm. We had no unpleasant experiences whatsoever regarding pickpockets, even on the notorious Charles Bridge or tram to the Prague Palace even though we could see how this could happen easily on such packed trams. A visit which will be long remembered.

Fantastic location 100 metres or less from the Charles Bridge and walking distance to practically everywhere. We had a large, spacious room with a very good bathroom. Great breakfast included as well at the Bagel place across the road. The connection to and from the airport was smooth and arranged by the hotel for a reasonable price. Word of warning, however: a double bed does not actually mean that, but two twins shoved together joined by a sheet. As they say on the London Underground "mind the gap" - especially if you get a bit amorous!
