The Bed and Breakfast “Canto alla Porta Vecchia” is situated in the historic centre of Pistoia and is just a step away from the City’s most important monuments.

In this traditional 19th century house, you will find pleasantly furnished big bedrooms, spacious living areas and a rooftop terrace, which provides an ideal space for relaxing.

The management is always kind and caring, and offers a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The Bed and Breakfast caters for people from all over the world, and there’s nothing we like more than the occasional friendly chat…whatever the language!

The house is furnished throughout with antique furniture, beautiful upholstery and impressive artwork on display in each room by a wide range of artists.

From the large bright windows you can admire the beautiful rooftops of Tuscany as well as the Church “della Madonna dell’Umità”, one of the most spectacular views on offer.

The bathrooms are all fully equipped and also include a hairdryer and essential toiletries. You’ll also be provided with fresh bed linen and towels every 3 days depending on the length of your stay.

In every room there is central heating and there is also free wi-fi Internet connection.

On request you can also use the kitchen without further charge.

In winter you can enjoy breakfast under a wonderfully decorated ceiling. We provide a typical Tuscan breakfast of fresh cakes, or if you prefer a savoury option is available on request.

Whereas in summer you can enjoy breakfast outdoors on the flourishing terrace.

In the main living room you can listen to music, watch TV and feel free to look through our extensive collection of guidebooks and road maps of the area.

Pets are also welcome.

If you are planning to come by car you will be given a permit to enable you to park in the historical centre. So please make sure you advise us at the time of booking.This property has provided all content and is solely responsible for its accuracy.

Very sweet people, a lovely looking interior, a delicious, typical Tuscan breakfast and a nice room. Also the city is nice to visit: small but beautiful.

How to find us:
You need to take the A11 Motorway (signposted A11 Firenze-Mare).
From the motorway you need to exit at Pistoia. After the toll station you need to follow signs for Pistoia Ovest and the follow the road until you find the exit for Pistoia Centro. Once you have exited at Pistoia Centro you need to follow signs for the city centre and then at the Porta Lucchese e Via Puccini roundabout you go straight on until you arrive at Via Curtatone e Montanara.
