I Due Borghi - Bed & Breakfast - Pisa

Enjoyable stay, perfect location to wander leisurely to the tower and other central locations of Pisa. Good strong cup of coffee in the morning also!

What a great B & B in Pisa. A warm welcome, a cot for our baby, air-con, a great shower and bed, room with a view, top breakfast of pastries, fruit, chesse, salami. A super location, in a quiet cul-de-sac off the main piazza, minutes walk to Tower, great gelato place at Piazza Garibaldi (1.50euro for massive cone), try a tuk tuk bike hire 5euro for 40mins great fun. The restaurant below the B & B does a great seafood risotto. You can't go wrong with I Due Borghi.

My ratings are much lower than they would otherwise be due to a problem the owner has with opening the door to the street. We arrived mid afternoon, to get no reply either to the bell or the phone listed above the entrance. We returned at 4.30, same thing. We got in at 6.30. This would not be such a big ussue except that the following morning we paid and handed over the key, asking to leave the baggage inside the front hall making very clear we would return 11.30. We made a joke about what had happened the day before. But unbelievably, at 11.30- no reply to bell. We were only saved by a resident from an apt on another floor leaving by the front door. So any guest arriving at an awkward hour beware!

A very atmospheric and friendly place for our family (2 adults, 3 children). Very good location in central Pisa close to one of the main streets (but not noisy since this part of Pisa is almost free of automobiles).

I Due Borghi is located very near the leaning tower and train station. We enjoyed the breakfast the most. The room and toilet were pretty clean, but the shower closet was really small. The owner was really nice and friendly however he can't really speak in English. Overall, we find I Due Borghi an excellent B&B!

It is really a home away from home, the owners will make you feel that you are part of their family, the place is clean really clean and the breakfast is really good, Rooms are in Italian motif, I recommend this place to anyone that will go to Pisa.

Verry nice, but the staff speaks only italian.
