Very clean, spacious and well kept. Sharing one of the two bathrooms was not a problem at all. The owner was not there when we arrived, but phoned him and he arrived within a couple of minutes to show us around. I would very much recommend this bed & breakfast. Within a short walking distance of the airport and not much further to the train station. Get directions first to know how to get there as it isn't noted on the big maps in town.

This place is a small, (5 bed), B&B, that's absolutely perfect as a base from which to explore the city of Pisa. Luca and his partner/wife/girlfriend run Lucky House in a way that helps you to become almost 'part of a small family'. I would definitely recommend this B&B to anybody and would LOVE to go back for a return visit. Many Thanks. Nigel

Following a late arrival and problems getting my hire car I arrived to a lovely welcome from the owners who made my book-in very smooth and quick. Giving me exactly what I had asked for - due to a disability. After 10mins I had a knock on the door and was offered a cup of English tea and biscuits. (heaven) Next morning a lovely breakfast was waiting. I was so impressed I wanted to come back a day earlier to stay in Pisa for the last night but they were full (not surprising). I highly recommend this B&B and will definately be going back.10/10+ Thanks

This B&B is located between the railway station and the airport. Perfect welcoming and very good services (breakfast, tourist information, rent a bike, internet) by the B&B owners.

I like the place very much -- inexpensive but very good service. The staff had been very welcoming and accommodating to the visitors' needs, and the place is very beautiful. Unlike other hostels in Italy, they serve relatively good breakfast, with good ambiance. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

This is really a nice place, very close to the airport and city. I was sad I just stayed for one night! Luca, the owner, is very gentle and helpful with everything. I also got a good bike for free :) The room was big and with a good bed, the bathroom clean and nice. Livingroom very cosy and breakfast excellent!!! Nice garden with friendly cat is included. You can't do anything wrong staying here!

The nicest place during our stay in Italy. Just 40 minutes walk from the lean tower, situated in the south of the city. We ate breakfast in a lovely garden next to the house.

Before traveling luca ask us for the time of arrival. I sended a mail back to ask to change the 3-night reservation to 1 night. Like other people that gives a review on this site, he didn't response. I think it's because he did not (or bad) speak english. There was no place for all people who want to have a breakfast. Luca used the reception table. But there were lack tables as well. Nice B&B, clean rooms. staff is very helpful. Very close to the hotel and the city.

Not being too familiar with B&B, I could have selected a better suited place for us but all in all it wasn't that bad. There was no AC but there was a fan provided. Lots of storage available if you're intending to stay a long time. The staff were friendly and provided us with the information we needed and we ate until we were full. The openness of the common area was great. Take the food and water that you want (alcohol you pay extra but they had it). Their neighbors had a dog that wasn't very quiet and there was a smell coming from the bathroom which seems quite similar to various parts of Italy. It was fine as long as you kept the door closed as the sign suggested.

My girlfriend and I have stayed in Luckyhouse for three nights and can simply say that it was one of the best BBs we've ever visited. The owner Luca and his friend Elly were super friendly and v. helpful on every occasion. Rooms clean, spacious and well furnished with an easy access to the external bathroom. It was a bit hot during nights and noisy when someone was using a toilet but still bearable. Overall, I would definitely recommend this BB to everyone who wants to spend their stay without much havoc and enjoy their well deserved vacation time. Arek and Justina

Excellent! Like being guest in a family; the owners are very kindly; nice garden; proper bedrooms and bathrooms; good breakfast;... The only little point of critic: the isolation of the rooms > in the summertime the rooms are very heated (not air-conditioned)

It was very hot whether (+40C) and in the hotel they had the AC only in the common area and not in the rooms. I checked in late in the evening (11pm) and after payment the reception guy promised to bring me the receipt in the room. That did not happened. In general to stay for one night is ok.

The manager is welcoming your very friendly and explains all you have to know. Free wifi en use of the computer (first floor) Free bottle of water. Breakfast is more than oke and it is self-serving until 08.00 am. The B&B is only 7 minutes walk from the airport. Look on Google street view before walking. You can use the bus L/R 21 for 2 or 3 stops. Ticket is € 1.10 and valido 70 minuti. Line 21 is the bus for Toro (I) so you can the same ticket after dropping your luggage. (I only stayed for one night.)

We went for a girls' weekend in Pisa and absolutely loved this place. The place is very clean and the staff super friendly and helpful. Although the bathrooms are shared, it never felt crowded. The breakfast is much better than average, and the location is great. We walked there from the airport in 5-10 minutes, and the town center was not too far away. We will definitely come back!

Luckyhouse is a villa, so we felt like staying at friend's house. Luca sent an email asking for my estimated arrival time but I did not check it. We rang him up at 8am at the B&B and he was very kind to come and open the door to let us keep our luggages there. The location is great for those going to airport. We walked to the airport in less than 10 minutes!

Well located but would have been good to have directions given for walking from the airport which was only 10 minute walk but took me over an hour to find. Room I had was noisy due to position right next to front door. I would have liked a bedside table. I think the room could have been arranged better for guests. People were arriving up until midnight and leaving at 5.30am. But the people running it were helpful and accomodating. Communal spaces were good and comfortable. Choice of things for breakfast very good. Bathrooms clean and modern. Water nice and hot but shower screen a bit awkward as wouldn't stay in place very easily. Free wifi. Short walk to central station and all the sights.

I like this place. But at first, i really had no idea how to reach this place when i arrived at pisa train station. I couldn't find the address on the map i bought in the station. So i hired a taxi and paid 10€, whereas this place is near to pisa train station and pisa airport. You can reach this place on foot from the station once you know it.

The b&b in Pisa is a nice place to stay. They offer rooms for families. The landlords are very friendly and helpful. There is enough parking space right in front of the building. I can warmly recommend the Luckyhouse.

We stayed at the Luckyhouse B&B for 3 nights at the end of July, 2011. The house was very nice and rooms were great. Bathroom was very spacious. I only have two complaints about the place. First of all, we had to keep the windows open because of the heat, which in turn allowed mosquitoes into our room that bit us all night long. By the time we left Pisa we were literally covered in bites. There was an A/C unit, but when I turned it on one night, someone turned it off. The owner should have closed the windows and turned on the A/C and told everyone to leave it alone. It was definitely hot enough for it. The other issue I had was with the "breakfast" part of the B&B. Breakfast was not prepared for us and consisted of nothing more than bread, packaged sweets, juice and coffee. Kind of weak for a B&B, but it was free. The overall price was excellent and the staff was very friendly.

quiet and clean, friendly staff, shared bath (also clean), 10 min walk to train-station, 7 min walk to Galilei-Airport (but you don´t see and hear the airport), to old-town-center 30 min walk, but without baggage no problem, in the morning no problem to make a breakfast for your own (if you have to go to the airport in the middle of the night), good price-service-relation

This B&B has a very good location in terms of close vicinity both to an airport and a railway station. The historical city is also in a walking distance. Breakfast was quite enough (yougurt, croissan, toasts and cakes). The hotel staff was very friendly and I felt at home. I didn't have any discomfort during my stay at this B&B.

My second stay here in two weeks. A bit of confusion when I arrived as hosts were unsure whether I was staying upstairs or downstairs or for 1 night or 2. Once that was sorted it was fine. As previously stated a great place, great price and ideal for the airport. Free internet access as well and almost like living in your own home. Use of the garden as well if desired. Have no complaints at all and would have no hesitation in staying again. Its a bit like a shared community and both times I stayed I met nice people from Milan to the Netherlands.

Lucky House is superbly located five minutes walk from the airport ( very little aircraft noise)and in a quiet residential area. Also only 10 minutes from train station and a little further for all the sights. Luca met me when I arrived and offered me a drink. Free internet access uncluded and use of the house and garden. Good breakfast for the price and would highly recommend. Would definitely stay again without a doubt every time I came to Pisa. So comfortable and homely.

What a lovely house! Very quiet area in residential street. Very welcoming. Easy walk from railway station and 10 mins walk to airport. Takes about 20 minutes to walk into main centre and maybe 30 mins to get across river toward older part of Pisa. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

its our first time to do a bed and breakfast. and it was a great experience. their is wifi. the place is near the airport and the bus station. very accessible. area is safe, we walked at 5am in the morning, and lots of people also walking going to the airport. negative is very minor. like, at first we went there, there is no one around, so we have to call first and wait outside. but in few mins someone is already their and let us in. they speak little english but still understandable. the place is clean but for 3 days, i think they need to give us new towels. i didnt ask anyway coz we are out early and in late at night. but those are just minors. maybe im just used to staying at hotels. all in all, the place is clean. the people are helpful, vanni and luka. and the location is safe and accessible to all public transport. near train, bus, and airport. all walking distance.

Me and two other travel companions stayed here for one night while in Pisa. We had an excellent experience, the guy at the front desk Luca was very friendly and welcoming, the room and bathroom were very clean, and the breakfast was light but just what we needed. It felt like we were staying in someones home. The location is off the tourist maps we had but it is indeed very close to the train station. I would definitely reccommend this place to other people. Thanks for the hospitality!
