Unexpectedly, we arrived just before 11pm (closure of check-in time). This was not a major problem, except the fact that the owner did not speak English, which made the anouncement over the phone a bit difficult. Nice location, clean bedroom, clean shower and toilet. Unfortunatelly, we could not test the breakfast, because we needed to leave at 6:15am to catch the ferry in Livorno. Suprisingly, we got a reduction on the total price because of this.

Black coffee, central location, friendly envioronment, pedestrian area with no automobile traffic, beautiful old and comfortable rooms, though small dinning room. As a summary, signore Benito is rather worthwhile to meet.

Great little B&B this , heartily recommended. Positives:Great location in the heart of the city, very friendly owner, quiet, fantastic breakfast (incredible pastries, fresh coffee, tea, fruit juices, bread with various cured meats and cheese), decent sized bed for a single room, air con. Negatives: stairs if that's a problem for you, but that's part of what keeps it quiet, owner speaks no English, but he's a naturally good communicator so not too much of an issue. Can be a little hard to find - Via Tinti is not one alleyway but two - you want the part that comes off the main street, not the part that runs parallel.

Lovely bed & breakfast in Pisa city centre, within walking distance to the main attractions and a short bus ride to the train station. The owner made us feel really welcome, the room was quiet and with air conditioning (needed in the summer). Breakfast was huge! Definitely recommended.

Nowhere was it indicated in advance that there were several flights of dusty, dirty stairs to negotiate before the accommdation was reached. The breakfast offering was very limited and not to our taste. The bedroom itself was big enough and pleasant. It is indeed very central to shops and sights.

The dear gentleman and his wife were ever so kind and charming, so solicitous and eager to please. It was difficult, however, lugging our luggage, even though minimal, up many flights of stairs. The room, and especially the bathroom, was tiny but quaint & cute.

The rooms are well prepared along a traditional theme plus character and breakfast is arranged and presented enthusiastically. The hotel is on the third floor, so be prepared to carry your baggage up and up. The entrance is in a small alley not well known by locals, but the walk from the airport bus stop and central train station is a straight walk through a pedestrian area and so heavy bags can be wheeled easily. The hostel is about the sixth street on the right after crossing the river. Look for the sign on the wall. The larger room makes a big difference. The small one is a bit cramped with luggage. Good heating, modern bathrooms, big beds. This is not the most luxurious location, but is good value for Italy with breakfast included.

Right in the centre of Pisa in between shops and bars and restaurants so bear in mind, although this wasn't a problem for us. It probably could do with better signage to make it easier to find. All in all a very friendly couple and the breakfast experience is delightful.

This accommodation was excellent and central to Pisa. We would recommend this b & b to anyone visiting Pisa. Venue was quiet and staff very friendly! The owner Benito was very helpful and the breakfast was delightful. The decor was traditional Italian and we enjoyed the experience of staying there. We hope to visit again!

The BB is located right in the center of Pisa. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He speaks only Italian, which is a problem, if you have a special wish. From the outside the place is hard to discover, but at the end the service and support are very welcome. Parking is a problem - we had to leave our car around 15 walking minutes away, where the price per day was only 3.6 Euro. There are a few closer parking places for around 20 Euro.

What a great B & B in Pisa. A warm welcome, a cot for our baby, air-con, a great shower and bed, room with a view, top breakfast of pastries, fruit, chesse, salami. A super location, in a quiet cul-de-sac off the main piazza, minutes walk to Tower, great gelato place at Piazza Garibaldi (1.50euro for massive cone), try a tuk tuk bike hire 5euro for 40mins great fun. The restaurant below the B & B does a great seafood risotto. You can't go wrong with I Due Borghi.

My ratings are much lower than they would otherwise be due to a problem the owner has with opening the door to the street. We arrived mid afternoon, to get no reply either to the bell or the phone listed above the entrance. We returned at 4.30, same thing. We got in at 6.30. This would not be such a big ussue except that the following morning we paid and handed over the key, asking to leave the baggage inside the front hall making very clear we would return 11.30. We made a joke about what had happened the day before. But unbelievably, at 11.30- no reply to bell. We were only saved by a resident from an apt on another floor leaving by the front door. So any guest arriving at an awkward hour beware!

A very atmospheric and friendly place for our family (2 adults, 3 children). Very good location in central Pisa close to one of the main streets (but not noisy since this part of Pisa is almost free of automobiles).

I Due Borghi is located very near the leaning tower and train station. We enjoyed the breakfast the most. The room and toilet were pretty clean, but the shower closet was really small. The owner was really nice and friendly however he can't really speak in English. Overall, we find I Due Borghi an excellent B&B!
