The reception was excellent. When we arrived, after getting our luggage, we were offered a cup of coffee with homemade cakes and some pieces of melon. We got a map of the city with directions on how to get there by foot. The only disadvantage was the location. It's a little walk (about 20 minutes) to the leaning tower along some pretty uninspiring roads.

Claudia's B&B was absolutely fantastic! Claudia and her son did an excellent job of making us feel welcome and at home. Claudia also serves an amazing breakfast buffet. I would recommend it to everyone, but mostly to more mature couples.

My wife and I stayed at B&B Claudia Ferri in Sept. 2011. Claudia picked us up at the train station and brought us to the airport the next day. Both she and her daughter were unbelievably friendly and kind. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast, including delicious homemade cakes and sandwiches was very generous. Claudia is as sincere as they come and though she can only speak in Italian, communicates effectively with her smile. An excellent choice in Pisa.

Nice bedroom very clean. Claudia and her daughter are very nice persons, they gave us some advices to visit Pisa and to find a good restaurant. The breakfast is also very good with homemade cakes!

Exceptional hospitality from Claudia by meeting us at airport and providing us with an evening snack with fresh strawberries. Although 20 mins walk from centre it was worth it just to meet Claudia! Although not an English speaker she has no problem communicating. Don't expect a traditional breakfast but do expect lots of freshly baked cakes and fresh fruit. Coffee pots a bit small for 2 people, but hospitality huge. Although you have your own bathrooms they are not unfortunately en-suite but somehow it doesn't matter. Ended by Claudia arranging a friend to run us to the airport to pick up our hired car.

My wife and I stayed for 5 nights using Claudia’s for a spring board for day trips. We arrived at the airport to a general strike with loads of people waiting outside for transport, Claudia had come to the airport to pick us up to save us the wait and get our stay off to a great start. The breakfasts and hospitality are outstanding and the leisurely walk to the station or town were just what we needed to either walk off breakfast or have some late night ‘light’ exercise. I would recommend this oasis of tranquility and full on Italian warmth to everybody! John & Jane UK

Excellent overall stay, with standing ovation for the breakfast. Very nice and spacious room and bathroom. Only (minor) problem, the bathroom, even if private, as per the web page, was outside the room, even if immediately adjacent.

Excellent breakfast! Claudia and her daughter are great people. She even took us to the airport charge free. The only real problem was the location which was a long walk from the Piza Tower (around 30 mins).

Anyone who wants to visit Pisa should stay at Claudia's B&B. We experienced a heartfelt welcome and Claudia made sure we felt at home. Everything was great but I really enjoyed the homemade cakes! Thanks.

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at the B & B Claudia Ferri. Claudia doesn't speak much English but I loved this fact as it made me use my very basic Italian! We stayed in the triple room on the second floor which was lovely with its own large terrace covered with gorgeous plants and flowers. Location wise it is a 20 minute walk to the station and 30 mins to the leaning tower. Claudia is a lovely lady and very hospitable - she bakes some wonderful cakes for breakfast and she always knew what the weather was going to do the next day!! She is more than happy to provide you with ideas on what to do and where to go. highly recommended!

Claudia is a fantastic hostess, full of life, love and energy. Breakfast is more than ample with homemade torte in addition to bread, ham, juice, etc. Claudia wants everyone to appreciate the beauty of her city and goes out of her way to show you a good time. She does not speak English, but is energetic in teaching and communicating. Lovely rooftop patio. 10 min walk to central Pisa.

Claudia is a most helpful and cheerful person. She met us at the station and drove us to the B&B.It is situated in a private estate, and our room was on the top floor with private access to the roof garden. After an excellent breakfast, Claudia drove us into town to the leaning tower. When we were about to leave, our flight was cancelled (volcanic ash) and Claudia made several phone calls on our behalf and arranged for another local B&B as her accommodation was booked for the following night. Her son drove us to the new location. The people at Claudia Ferri could not have been more helpful. As our flight was scheduled to depart at 0700, Claudia said "Breakfast at 5 o'clock and then I will drive you to the airport" In the event we did not need this, but it was offered.

We arrived earlier than expected. Claudia gave us a very warm welcome, and let us leave our luggage. She kindly gave us a lift into Pisa station to catch a train to Lucca.Breakfast was oh, what can i say!wonderful!Staff very friendly. Claudia recommended a restaurant just round the corner, can't remember it's name, but it was very good,

Claudia and her daughter were lovely and helpful. The B&B was very difficult to find, and since neither of them speak English, we had a terrible time finding it. But Claudia led us to the airport so that we could return our rental car, which was incredibly gracious.

OK, so we could'nt understand each other but who cares . . we were excellently recieved. Like other reviewers here, Claudia made us welcome & even provided us with a light snack & coffee after arriving late at night. Well reccommended. Only negative criticism I can make is the difficulty in finding the property.

Claudia does not speak much english but that doesn't matter, we can't speak italian and understood nearly everything. The breakfasts are amazing. The service to and from the airport/train station was much appreciated. The B&B itself is very comfortable with nice surroundings and the terrace has a good view over pisa. The personal touch supplied by Claudia would justify a much higher price for your stay, nothing bad to say about our stay. We will definatly be booking with Claudia again.

We found the B&B difficult to locate, we thought it would be easy to find from the rail station but it took us ages because we didn't have clear directions. Some hospitable non english speaking locals helped us out and we finally found it. We were very warmly met by Signora Ferri, what a delightful host, she directed us to the terrace and brought us cappucinos and strawberries. The B&B was in her home so it was very comfortable and well equiped, we shared a bathroom with our son and partener. Signora Ferri didn't speak much english so she had her son come over and give us any information we needed, we thought this very kind. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful, freshly cooked plentiful cakes and muffins with ham rolls and fruit, definately the best breakfast on all of our trip, and Signora Ferri is such a warm and delightful person and gives the best hugs, it was a wonderful place to stay. All the people we met in Pisa were terrific, so friendly and helpful and they all seemed to know Signora Ferri.

A great place to stay, Claudia was very helpful and friendly, we were picked up at the airport (even though we were an hour late and arrived close to midnight). Breakfast was a fantastic, homemade cakes, warm from the oven good coffee, tea and then Claudia drove us back to the airport to catch our bus. i would definitely stay here anytime I visited Pisa. Lovely, obliging host and very convenient to the airport.

Claudia is so friendly, and wants to please so much. The place is very nice, however beware - the entrance is NOT on Via 2 Settembre 15, it is on the side road. We almost gave up looking, and had to be rescued by Claudia's son (who was also a wonderful help to us). Breakfasts are anything but normal - Claudia serves cakes, and more cakes! Truly a lovely family and nice location, but get the correct address before arriving in Pisa!

The room was sparsely furnished but clean. The double bed was actually 2 beds pushed together that were at different levels. The bathroom floor is at 2 separate levels with the sink area being several inches higher than the rest of the room, making a dangerous stepdown when you back away from the sink area. The best thing about the place was that we were met at the Airport and driven to the B&B by the operator's Son at 23:30 at night; this was a real bonus! The room was separated from the main house by some 150 metres; breakfast was adequate.

Claudia Ferri made us feel very welcome from our arrival, she was very friendly and accomodating. One critisim was it took us an hour to find this accomodation as it was not signposted from the ajoining road. It was the first time we had stayed at Claudia Ferri B&B and would recommend this accomodation.

We got an exellent reception in B&B run by CLaudia Ferri. She is very nice and friendly person. Although we came 3 hours before check in time she picked us up at the airport and offered us a delicious breakfast. All that free of charge (we did not pay for a meal at the first day). What is more the day we were leaving she gave us a lift to the train station. Free of charge of course. It was a pleasure to stay there. The only disadvantage of the place is its location because although it is situated in walking distance from the historic centre of Pisa the way there is quite dangerous due to lack of pedestrian sideway.

This was in a private residential area - quite nice, but not expected. Refused to take credit card, which was a problem since we were not near a commercial area. Very pleasant owner and son, but tazi could not get into property since there was a gate. Not what was expected, but over-all ok if you travel with euros and know in advance she will not take credit cards.

Claudia and her staff were friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to help us including the pick-up service to and from airport and train. However, Claudia does not speak English, so I would recommend those attending at this B&B have some Italian to be understood. Claudia's enthusiasm certainly makes up for any language barrier!

Very difficult to find. B&B was actually off another road not the one in the address - we nearly gave up trying to find it. Could do with better directions on the website. Claudia & family/staff very friendly making us very welcome, nothing too much trouble. Excellent breakfast. Close to airport.

Claudia Ferri was a lovely lady, very welcoming but did not speak any English. Glad we only stayed one night as the room had nowhere to hang clothes, no mirror and nowhere to put rubbish. The bathroom was separate from the bedroom. We had to leave early in the morning, but Claudia was there especially for us, with coffee and a piece of cake. Did not like the surroundings of the B&B at all.

What a wonderful welcome to Italy! There were 4 of us and we were only in Pisa for one night, but Claudia made us feel like a special family guest. She emailed me immediately after booking to arrange to meet us at the airport and brought us directly back to the room. She also provided us a ride to the train station after serving up a fantastic breakfast of homemade cakes and cookies, pizza, fresh fruit, coffee, juice etc. Her ready smile and willingness to go the extra mile for making the guest feel welcome was definitely the high point of this stay. The only downside was that she didn't speak much English - although to give her credit, her English is still better than my Italian! The room seemed to be newly furnished and was quite clean. We had 4 people, so it was a bit tight on space and there were a few kinks to work out with the door and lock, but the area was very quiet and safe. The accomodations came complete with a mosquito repellant, which we appreciated. The towels were a bit skimpy, but couldn't complain too much. The location was nice and quiet, but the rather long 30 min walk to town was made more hazardous be the lack of sidewalks at some parts. There was also a great pizzeria nearby, just down the street. Another plus was that we were able to use the internet without charge. Overall, if you are a looking for a cozy place where you will feel like part of the family, and don't mind a little distance from the city, then I'd recommend this place without reservation!
