Wonderful location, right in the heart of Pisa, very friendly and competent staff, nice and stilish rooms. The only bad point was the noise coming from the street at nighttime: it was impossible to sleep because of loud-shouting morons right there. But it isn't a Centro Storico's fault, they'r only victims of this bad situation. A good brakfast repaid us from tha almost sleepless night.

We were a family of 2 adults and 3 children who shared a large room. Found the room perfect for our purposes even if there was a slight smell in the bathroom. Breakfast was good we thought with cereals, toast, croissants, cake, yoghurt, ham & cheese. Coffee, cappucino, hot chocolate was self service from a machine. The location was perfect being in a good area only 10 mins walk from the train station on a pedestrianised street and c.15 mins across the bridge to the Tower. However the street was very busy and quite noisy at night with the "hubbub" of passing revellers. That said it didn't keep us awake. Cheap & cheerful accommodation - we'd be happy to go back.

Excellent location! Very friendly and welcoming staff, helped with all our requests rg. time schedules of busses and trains or family-friendly restaurants. We stayed twice in Centro Storico in two different quadruples and enjoyed the stay and the breakfast that includes cereals, toast, yoghurt, cakes (yam, yam), tow different kinds of ham and cheese. You can have juice, tea and a variaty of coffees. It is indeed a bit loud because of the noise from the street.

Considering this was the cheapest price for accommodation I got for Pisa, the place is OK. I traveled for work and had to stay long - for such stays the place is not very good - too noisy. If you do not mind that the B&B is overlooking the most crowded street in Pisa then this is a great choice! Close to everything (sights, transportation, shops); the breakfast was good enough; the hotel staff was polite when I came with requests. But if you plan to stay more than 2-3 nights - bring earplugs or just find a place away from the center street.

Nice spot on a great location. Just 5 minute walk from the trainstation and about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the leaning tower. One remark; isn't a bed&breakfast supposed to serve breakfast?

I would definitely return to the Centro Storicio, and I think that is a pretty good indication. The location was convenient - about halfway between the train station and the tower. Great for sightseeing, shopping, eating and drinking. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. I would recommend Centro Storico to anyone (except for those who might have difficulty managing stairs).

Lovely rooms, in old, hotel with traditional stone floors and wall painting in the bedrooms. Breakfast was a rather hit & miss affair with limited selection consisting mainly of cakes normally served at english tea time.

I asked for one of the rooms with frescoes on the ceiling, and got one as I asked. The room was very noisy (main shopping street), but for 1 night this was not a problem, excellent location between station and historical center. Large bathroom, clean and spacious but some things were worn out, widely compensated though by the unique charm of the decoration. Very friendly staff, always ready to help - in Italian at least. Good breakfast.

Very nice B&B in the middle of Pisa. We stayed in Room 12 with the wonderful ceiling and the kids stayed in Room 13 with a duple shower and beutiful glass doors. :-) Close to everything. Good service, but the public areas are very small. With windows open, there was some noise from the street caused by construction work near by.

Our quad room (2 separate sleeping spaces) was good sized, but could use another mirror or two somewhere on the walls (besides the bathroom one.) A good room for families, as mom & dad could have one room, the kids the other. The shower head could use replacement as water squirted everywhere.

I loved the place. The staff was very welcoming and a I felt very comfortable. The only thing, though, is that those who go to bed early, should ask for a room in the back. Via Corso can be noisy.

A charming, rustic hotel in the midst of the historical shopping/eating district, about 10 15 mins. walk to the Leaning Tower. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was in keeping with my experience with hotels in this price range (cheese, meat, breads & rolls, cakes, fruit drink, coffee). Because it is a happening part of town, there is street noise at night which could probably be more distracting on weekends. But it IS a great location - within walking distance from the train station. Decent quality for a decent price! My room was at the very top - don't try this if you aren't prepared to walk up several flights of stairs.

I just stayed here overnight and didn't even have time to try the breakfast. However, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. There were no carpets and the stone floor was a bit cold. The TV was quite small and could only take in 6 channels - the rest were just a digital blur - and there was a big hole in the window, letting in all the noise from the street. I didn't recieve an internet password, so I couldn't use the wi-fi. It was cheap though, and located right between the train station and Piazza dei Miracoli.

The room was lovely ,however we did have few issues. Bathroom was shared - it was not a problem but drains were blocked and shower was broken- we have reported it twice to reception however they had problem to understand english- we have showed them as well but they never fixed it. Room was booked as double but it was two sigle beds pushed together and covered with sheets- when we asked for a double room they said ALL ITALIAN hotels have doubles like that which is absurd and lie. Do not recommend any families or mature people staying there as hotel is placed in the middle of very noise street with restaurants and bars . YOu can not get any sleep till 5am on weekend Very good location for turists and young people .

The receptionist was very friendly. The room was large, the bathroom was enormous and the shower was neat (there were two shower heads in our room, great for a couple). The air conditioning was clearly an afterthought, but it worked just fine. The breakfast was good, with a lot of variety. Our room had a bakery below it, so the smells in the morning got our hopes pretty high...

Centro Storico Pisa is very special place in the middle of the old Pisa and the best shopping street Corso Italia. But best in Centro Storico Pisa is the service. Owner and staff are very kind, which is not typical at all in Pisa! Staff took good care of our luggages, when we arrived too early in the city and while our staying they helped us every way in our needs. Even the price was reasonable. I can warmly recommend Centro Storico Pisa!

This amazing little B&B is situated on Corso Italia,a main pedestrian thoughfare through the old part of Pisa. It is not going to be quiet & if you want quiet it aint for you. We found it part of the charm. The rooms are beautifully decorated in keeping with the age of the building and you are no more than 15mins walk from any of the sights of Pisa. We'd use it again.

The location of Centro Storico is excellent and we found our bedroom adequate in size and comfort for the price we paid. We were fortunate to have been placed in a room on the second floor but did wonder how people who are older than ourselves or not as fit would have managed as there is no lift. We did not have an en-suite bathroom but had sole use of a bathroom along the corridor, which for us, was not a problem. You are, of course, very constrained by the location and age of the building so I do not wish to be too critical as it was within easy reach of the sights!!

Good location. It's only about 6-10 minutes walk from and to Pisa Centrale station. The owner, despite his difficulties in expressing himself in English, was very friendly and trying his best to be helpful. I booked a room with a private bathroom. The room was very clean and spacious. However, i noticed that the common bathroom was not very well maintained. Also, as my room was facing one of the artery roads in Pisa (via Corso Italia) with cafes and boutique shops along the street, it was a little noisy at night. but then again, it was probably because i stayed there during the weekend when people prefer going out till slightly later. Overall, i think Centro Storico Pisa is a very good-value-for-money B&B.

I had chosen this hotel because of its good location (situated in walking distance between the station and the city centre), but unfortunately I didn't think of the noise in the centre of the pedestrian area (people from northern Europe have a different attitude towards it). My room was small, but nice; the staff were polite. But because of the noise from outside until the early (Easter) morning, I wasn't able to sleep. After this first night I looked for another hotel and found "Rinascente" (very quiet and nice, situated directly in the city centre). The staff here couldn't understand my "problem" (I tried to explain my situation in my poor Italian to the mother of the owner), but I am sure this problem has not been only mine.

The B&B is correct, in the very same centre of the town, so its location couldn't be better. We had a double room and it was a bit poor, with really old furniture. The heat and the bathroom were ok, but there were no frescoes on the ceiling as you can see in the photos provided, and at least our room didn't live up to our expectations. We didn't expect to sleep in a pompeian palace, but the room was just ok, correct but with an overall look of old place and a bit ran down. Moreover, we were in the first floor with the window looking to the street, and during the night it was really noisy!! Breakfast was OK although the "dining room" is so small and so narrow (just like a corridor!)that you can feel a bit claustrophobic!! Apart from all that, the people who run it are very kind and welcoming, so you can forgive other things for that. Our overall experience was good, but in a bit old room, a bit more noisy, good self-service breakfast in a claustrophobic place, and very kind staff. Perhaps there are other rooms in better conditions and in upper floors (and so quieter), but we weren't lucky enough!

Location of the apartment was perfect. Close to everything. We stayed 2 nights and saw all important sight seeings. You get a great service for your money! Breakfast was very good, too. The only thing we didn't like was the noise. The apartment is located on the main street with a lot of people. Otherwise, we highly recommend Centro Storico.
