B&B Stazione Centrale - Pisa

This is actually a room in a 3 bedroom apartment, the owner lives offsite. It worked really well, only 1 other person stayed during our stay. Guilano the owner, was extremely helpful. With the Breakfast voucher we bought a toasted roll with salad and a hot chocolate. Great location, we walked everywhere!

The only complaint about this property was that the property was locked on our arrival with no one to meet us. This was quite disconcerting as we arrived when it was dark and we didn't know our surroundings at all. Fortunately, another guest was in the building who let us in or we would have been in a real dilemma on what to do. The owner arrived 20 minutes later and said he didn't think our plane would be on time so he had taken that into account of his arrival time. Not good enough as I had emailed him that day to notify him again of our arrival time. However he was extremely appologetic and very nice. He was helpful in giving us information on how to find places and times it would take us to walk there so apart from the late greeting I have scored him highly. The apartment was very clean and great location to the train station about, 200 metres and relatively close to the airport 10 Euros for a taxi. A walking time of approx 15 minutes and you are at the leaning tower of Pisa so again great location. I would definitely stay here again but would hope that someone was there to meet us!

The room was clean with a private bath and AC. the gentleman was very nice and spoke good english. There is a stove and dishes, cutelery in the kitchen area. The surrounding area is a little run down however it is very close to the station (about 7 mins walk). The breakfast was in a snack bar across the street and just a choice of a bun or croisante and coffee or tea.

Specify your arrival time very accurately to the owner (a friendly Italian guy) or you'd probably end up with nowhere to settle down until you call him up. Kitchen available for use but for god's sake there was not a pot there to even boil water (but many cups, plates and stuff). Otherwise, our double room was decent and clean. Aircon working well.

Everything was great at B&B Stazione Centrale:very close to the train station, just in front is the bus station to and from the airport, the owner was very friendly and joker and explained us all we had to know about the room, transport in Pisa even about trains to Florence and Cinque Terre.We had breakfast across the street at Tabacco(sandwich or cake and coffee or tea).The room(the green room) was very spacious and clean but a little bit noisy from outside because of the windows to the main street.We enjoyed our stay at B&B and we recommend it.And Pisa is absolutely fantastic!
