Bed and Breakfast Sky Sleeping - Palermo

Clean rooms with balcony. Good location, just outside of city center in neighborhood with large produce/fish market down the main street. Quiet at night. 30 minute walk from central train station (also bus access). Cold breakfast selection good (cereal, toast, packaged sweet rolls) with coffee/tea. Nice roof top seating for breakfast or for relaxing at other times during the day/night. Our host, Massimo, is personable, speaks good English, and is knowledgeable.

Definitely our first choice again next time we visit Palermo

It has been my first experience to stay in bed&breakfast; I think I'll stay an other time in this kind of accomodation because is cheaper than to stay in hotel and it is possible to have closer relashionships with people of the place.

Good place to stay in the centre of Palermo

Clean, tidy rooms - pleasantly tasteful and modern - good bed, good bathroom. Adequately sized rather than spacious. Hotel is well-located, easy walk to old town, on the bus route, and Airport bus stop (get off at Politeama and walk 10 mins). A very welcome roof terrace for breakfasts, lovely to be up above the hustle-bustle in the sun with a view.

Our room was furnished with taste and although in a busy street, very quiet during the night. Sky Sleeping is situated on walking distance of the important sights in Palermo. Only the breakfast was very simple.

SkySleeping is a perfect place to stay while visiting Palermo. The bedrooms are quiet, well-appointed, attractive and clean; each has a mini-balcony with a beautiful view of the Conca d'oro and the harbor. The bathroom is sleek and modern, complete with high-tech shower. Massimo, the friendly host, serves excellent coffee and breakfast on a lovely penthouse terrace with splendid views of the city. The location is great: on a lively downtown throughfare filled with interesting shops and stands, an easy 15 minute walk to the Quattro Canti, the Cathedral and Palace. We look forward to our next visit and recommend it highly to anyone interested in expriencing life in a beautiful apartment in downtown Palermo.

For a B&B, we found this to be a good deal. While it's a bit outside the old city center, Palermo is so small that we were able to easily walk to all our destinations. At the same time, it was nice coming back in the evenings to an area that's not filled with tourists to see how Palermo residents actually live. The accomodation was as described, and everything about the room was quite comfortable. Breakfast was basically toast and packaged cakes with good, homemade coffee, but this was quite sufficient, as there's so much really good food to eat in Palermo once you get going. The owners were very helpful, even though language was a problem. They run a nice little establishment with eight rooms that feels more like a small hotel than a B&B, where you're free to come and go. The really nice view of the city - including the dome and towers of the cathedral and Palermo bay - from the balcony in the room was an added plus!

This was a really fantastic B&B. It is immaculate, centrally located, relaxed and great value for money. We've even been thinking of visiting Palermo again just to spend more time here!
