Saint Thorn House is virtually inaccessible and was extremely difficult to find, even with directions. The road up to it is steep and in very poor condition and without lighting. The property was also unlit, so we drove past it. The owner was unwelcoming and unapologetic. The room was OK but there were no other facilities, with the rest of the house being totally locked up. This property should be avoided at all cost.

room excellent- welcoming less-it's difficult to walk to the b&b because it's isolated in the little montain but the view is excellent and is possible to cook dinner

The air conditioning was old & noisy, the dogs were smelly and scary, and we didn't like the breakfasts or take to the eccentric management. But the view is terrific, the room was kept clean and once you can find the B&B (the English directions are unintelligible) it's well positioned for Palermo and beaches.

This place was exceptional value for money, considering the prices of hotels in Palermo. A car is definately required as they are up a mountian, but they provide car hire also at an excellent rate. Not much English is spoken. The B&B has fantastic views of Mondello.

How to arrive
To arrive Home Spinasanta, having a proper auto, is enough to follow the illustrated instructions. The maps, in fully grown greater can be downloading by click on the above writing of download..
To arrive with a public bus from the railway station, from the harbour or from the city Air Terminal city it is necessary e' to inquire about the bus more convenient that reaches the place of Tommaso Natale, holding account that the more near stop to the B&B it is that of the factory: COCA COLA. (for this please, ask the driver).
From the raylway station it is possible to use the Palermo's subway going down to the stop of the place Tommaso Natale.
From the arrival stop to the B&B it is necessary to cross about 800 meters by feet to reach St.Thorn house. To open the green gate before the mountain road (two curve at elbow) write the code: 2378 and press ENTER.
To whom it doesn't have an auto we advise to reach for the first time the B&B by a taxi. For the succession of the stay we can rent an auto to moderate price
